A couple years ago my friend got his rental towed from an apartment and this company still 500$+ and 2 expensive colognes. There was no proof they stole it . He submitted a police report and everything and got nothing back . These companies are thieves.?

This towing company took my vehicle without leaving any notice or sticker, and without giving me any time to remove it — even though I am an owner of a condo unit in the community. When I went to their lot, the parking gate was open. I unlocked my vehicle with my own keys, started it, and moved it forward a few feet to inspect its condition. Suddenly, an employee came out and threatened me with a firearm. I called the police, and the situation escalated quickly. On top of this, they damaged my vehicle during the tow and charged me $511. But the fact that I was threatened at gunpoint — after they unjustifiably took my own car — is absolutely outrageous and unacceptable.

Just got my car towed from my home to a shop from this company and the guy that towed my car left my car in a parking spot at the shop with my windowns WIDE open and left my keys on the front seat. Before that the shop said to please park it and please hand them the keys and when they asked for my information he told them he didnt no my name nor my information, but he just previously texted me stating he left my car there parked and gave them the keys, so why lie? what if my car would’ve got stolen then it would’ve been yalls problem and you guys would of had a bigger problem on your hands

Ryan was amazing! Helpful over the phone and in person. I felt safe and in great hands. Needed a tow off the busy highway. He was there quicker than he said and got me safely to my mechanic. Can’t say enough great things. Thanks again!

Shocked at the terrible customer service. I heard of this place through a friend of a friend. I needed a tow around a month ago, they said about an hour. I waited several hours then they cancelled. I needed a tow tonight and called around 5 pm. I was told an hour, and $135. I waited until 7:45 to call and see where they are. The guy says “I know nothing about that mam I came on at 7 and wasn’t notified” ? I said okay well we spoke with someone around 5 they said about an hour. Gave him the address, he says an hour to an hour 20. He calls me at about 8:30 to tell me he got two more emergency calls and wouldn’t be making it any time soon. I said okay, expecting him to give me a time frame. He says okay sorry bout that. I said oh so you’re cancelling? He says I mean it’ll be about 2-3 hours. I said yeah I’ll find someone else. Maybe they should find someone who can keep them organized. Two stiffs within a month or so is shocking. And the thing is if you’re straight up with me I am understanding but to kitty foot around it and not be direct is something I’m not a fan of.

Great communication from initial call taker, and with the driver, and all the way to drop off. The price wasn’t the cheapest quote nor the most expensive either. I paid a fair price for the service and definitely was happy with how fast they took care of the situation. They made the call feel like a priority, and we felt well taken care of. Payment was easy. I used my card with the driver at drop off and received an electronic receipt instantly that was clear and easy to read. No hidden charges or price change. I will absolutely recommend them to others and keep them saved in my phone.

A tow truck cut across empty parking spots in front of me and stopped in the middle of the lane right in front of me and parked, blocking the lane, to walk to the car in front of him. He could have waited a couple seconds to give me the right of way or waved after to let me know he had to stop there as a sorry gesture for not letting me pass through first, but he just stared at me. The parking lot was pretty empty in that part. I think he didn’t because he could. Anyway, this is not a company I would support.

This company and its employees are straight-up criminal. If your vehicle is towed by these clowns, you better act quickly because they will absolutely break into your car and steal everything they possibly can, and if it's a car worth selling, they will steal that too. My beloved 1989 Mazda Rx7 isn't worth a penny, but they insisted on keeping it away from me by all means necessary, and those means were completely illegal. Everyone involved was complicit in the theft of my vehicle as well as the theft of another person's stereo equipment in his Tahoe who discovered his property was missing the same day I discovered the clowns had broken into my car, over a month after it was towed by them. At first, they demanded my key and said I wouldn't be able to get any of my property out of my vehicle unless I gave them the key, which I refused to do. And since I refused, I had to fight tooth and nail to get onto the property to get into my own car to gather my own belongings. I had to call the police to keep the peace because of how mad these guys were that I filed a Consumer Complaint against them. And even after that, they still managed to auction my car off to one of their own employees. Public auction? Yeah, right. What a joke. These dudes are straight-up criminal. I can only imagine the number of cars they've stolen since they've been in business. My Rx7 is probably in a chop shop somewhere getting torn to pieces, and they're laughing about it now, but I will absolutely be pursuing them in court. They have not heard the last of me yet, no sir. I'm wickedly smart and shockingly vengeful, and I will NOT allow them to get away with this. It's not gonna happen. Get ready for the storm, fellas, it's coming your way.

These guys were awesome and very reasonable. I figured out the mileage and hookup fee, and he said it was not that much and gave me back $. Yes, you read that correctly. Also gave some very valuable advice, which gave me confidence dealing with the auto repair shop. Thank you Black Jack!!!

The price of the tow and lot fees changed 3 different times, each time increasing was told the tow was 150 I was billed 260. The lot fee was originally 25 than was told 30 and was billed at 40 dollars a day. It was all around not a good experience along with my e brake no longer works the same as before.

Black Jack towing refused to provide me service being a resident from an apartment homes location where I am expected to call this towing company to rely on in case an unauthorized vehicle parks in a resident spot is a complete disrespect. Paul refused to move an unauthorized vehicle even after informing him that I had prove that this was my spot. He asked me to park at another resident spot and even asked me for my vehicle information. This company shows no respect and so unprofessional I will be taking this up to my leasing office.

All these negative reviews. All from people who misparked or got repo. A few years ago I blew a tire on my geo metro. One of the lug nuts was stuck. I called several tow places in the area, minimum of $150 for up to a 5 mile tow. Also up to a 2 hour wait at 6pm. Called BlackJack they said it would be less than $75 for the tow. When we got to the yard he used an air chisel to get the lug nut off, changed the tire for me, and charged me a total of $50. I will never call anyone else for any towing or mechanical needs ever again! They were amazing, cheap, helpful, and respectful.

From start to finish, this company represented themselves quite well. The driver was very professional and friendly. Price was very competitive. 10/10 would recommend to anyone in need. Thank you for such stellar services and professionalism!

Towed for no parking permit in guest parking so bad bad me.The staff was decent enough. As far as I can tell, no damage to my Expedition but the cash price at 5:30 pm was $58 higher than what was quoted just two hrs before. We met in the middle if that's a proper way to say it, and knocked it down to just $30 more than quoted. If not for the price difference with a cash only policy I would have given 5 Stars. Like this rating really even matters and why the hell am I writing this stupid review anyway

THIS COMPANY IS NOT RELIABLE. “Open 24 hours” “No matter the time, day or night, we’re here for you” these are statements posted by the business that aren’t true. When I call them, each time their message of getting me “connected with one of our dispatchers” plays, and the call hangs up. I’ve worked with the company before and they are truly unprofessional and happy to take your money. They are aware that people are blindsided when they tell them they only accept cash, so they will tell you to utilize the local gas station ATM, instead of making people aware before they get there. I have seen their unprofessionalism in their responses to some of these reviews, and in person. Definitely be sure to inspect your car before leaving because with their towing they’ll be sure to damage to your vehicle because of their carelessness. Overall this company does not care about customers, quality, and your property, they’re in business to make money off of the people in the communities they serve.

Slow., and guy was extremely rude. I waited for almost 3 hours for employee to claim I’m acting like a child for calling the towing company back to back., and reason for that was because every time the phone answers it hangs right up. Very unprofessional., when only trying to find out if there would be a tow truck out tonight. Seeing that I had been waiting for 3 hours to get a car out of my spot. Then employee hung up on me and still did not provide me with any information. Maybe you all should try to get your phone fixed and we could avoid that problem.

Was only going to give 4 stars, because they towed my Jeep, but I was in the wrong. I was mean and rude to the man who answered my call. But he kept his composure and I got my Jeep back. I apologize to the gentleman, and will say that these guys are by far the nicest if they have to tow you even when you are in the wrong. I can only imagine the level of courtesy you will receive if you are in need of them.

Ryan is very professional been using blackjack for almost 2 years consistent. These guys bend over backwards to make the job right and do it fast. No one is perfect but these guys have yet to let me down regardless of commercial work, or if I am personally broke down on the side of the road in my own car. As a veteran, critical care nurse and deputys wife i am applaud. I was at a friends residence on 6/16 at 1430 to drop my daughter off for a small birthday gathering. When i went to leave at 1445 my car was gone. I called the Pinellas County Sheriff's department at 1452 to locate my vehicle.  The sheriff's department had no record at this time of who the towing company was that picked up my vehicle. They sent a deputy out just to make sure everything was ok. My friend called her HOA whom let her know the tow company is Black Jack towing as they do not allow parking on the street. (But 15 minutes come on, this tow comany was trolling the neighborhood) Once finding out the towing company and calling to find out where it was towed (that it is an 18 minute drive to pick up my car) and that it is going to be $130. My purse with my wallet and license and my ID badge for work is in my car. And to mention i was just at the store with $83 of perishable groceries in my car. I am a Critical Care Nurse and must report for duty with my badge and on time and was a must i get my car back asap. Upon arrival to get my car, i pulled out my credit card, at which time they stated its cash ONLY. It was 1702 the banks were closed and i did not have a debit card. They did not reference paying cash at anytime. Lucky the my friend had $150 in cash. Then they tell me they dont give change. Meanwhile I have my younger 8 yearold daughter standing in the hot sun. They stated i had to go across the street to get change. Needless to say i got my vehicle.

Ryan was very helpful and nice. Arrived in a timely fashion and towed my friends vehicle to the mechanic so we could get it fixed. If you're looking for a good and affordable towing company call them. All the negative reviews are because people are sour about the fact they're vehicles were towed for being parked illegally. If you need a tow from one place to the next they're a great and super friendly option. God forbid my car breaks down and I need a tow but if I do they'll be the first ones I call.

Excellent response and amazing rate! Other companies were quoting us 300-400 dollars for an emergency tow on the beach and wouldn’t even head out to us without a 100 dollar deposit. Black Jack driver got to us in 30 minutes flat and only charged 75 dollars. 10/10

I needed my car towed home from a friend's place where it'd been while I was out of the country on vacation. I called to get a quote from Blackjack and a few others and Blackjack was the lowest rate for non-flatbed towing I could find. I was at the car's location when I set up a time for the tow. Ryan showed up promptly and with due urgency. He quickly inflated the tires that needed it and locked the car onto the truck. I told Ryan to drop the car in the driveway at the target location. I didn't realize until 10 minutes later that I'd left my keys in the car. When I called Ryan, he said he'd return with the keys. That's top tier service, thanks Ryan!

Bob and Ryan are fantastic! I have a tendency to buy very unreliable cars, and when I break down and don't want to wait 90 minutes for AAA, I make sure to call them first. They're quick, professional and extraordinarily reliable. I wouldn't recommend another towing company.

These people are crooks. They are working with my housing complex and towing cars that have expired tags or are not in working order. I went on vacation and came home to find that my car had been impounded, as the tag expired while I was away. This company and Woodland Key Apartments are making good money off each other. Please be careful not to get towed when parking in this complex.

I've called numerous times leaving my name and number to get a call back. Went there and they said I needed the registration or vin number which I didn't have on me but said I call them to give them the info and work something out. Told me before I knew anything that it would be $1000 cash to get the car back for the lengthy period of it being stored. I feel like this is unjust since if you factor in the towing fee and days stored, it wouldn't even hit $600. Still waiting on a call back to discuss what can be done but not being hopeful as I called almost 3 weeks ago to get something done about tie vehicle.

These are criminals with a tow truck. My car was illegally towed from my apartment complex. The property manager claims she did not give this company permission to tow my car. Which blackjack towing denies. The tow company claims they towed it for expired tags, yet my tags were not expired, and a quick look at my registration clearly shows that. They offered no proof or evidence as to why they believed the tags to be expired, yet demanded that I prove that they were not expired. Which I could easily do by showing a copy of my registration. Even then, they still demanded I pay for the unlawful tow. After days of not having a car, and missing work, I finally was forced to pay their ransom, in order to retrieve my stolen car. Once again, my tags were not expired, and they offered no proof or reasoning as to why they towed it for "expired tags". They stole my car, and made me pay to get it back. Blackjack blamed it on the apartment complex, complex says that what Blackjack did was in violation of their contract and illegal.
