  Do not attempt to do business with this person I know the reviews seem decent, but it’s because they are from people desperate for cash, but I will give you an honest review the owner of this company is extremely unorganized, unprofessional and unnecessarily rude. The rudeness seems to be reaction to his frustration with his bad business practices that he can’t seem to get together. I called this gentleman on yesterday to inquire about selling my vehicle. He made me an offer. He asked me when I would like the vehicle picked up. I told him as soon as possible, I could 20 meet in 20 min he tells me Not gonna happen what will happen is they will call me when a driver is 30 minutes out, which should’ve just been told to me. Why asked me if you’re gonna Come anytime in eight hour window that should be communicated to people. I spoke to this man at 11 AM.. It’s just unprofessional I definitely understand This is how the process works I’ve worked in dispatch for a tow truck company that’s very reputable with multiple contracts with the state of Florida Police Department and highway patrol so I know You shouldn’t Inform a person when there’s a several hour window I’ve also worked in junk cars so I know that they do have restrictions, timewise and issues with drivers but if that’s the case, you schedule to pick ups their vehicle . so that was our first huge miscommunication because he then proceeded to call me back five hours later telling me he has a driver that could be there in 30 minutes as if I had been sitting by the vehicle waiting for him all day to call me. I was at a doctors appointment because I was in an accident reason why I’m selling my car and this man refused to get off the call while I was in the doctors office. I kept telling him I would call him back to reschedule because I am in a doctor’s office. He did not want to hear it. I literally had to basically hang up on him. I told him I would call him the following morning, which was this morning to reschedule. I get a call from my husband that his tow truck driver has just showed up at their tow yard to pick up the car without calling me without my title without anything they just came to get my car without any notice and when I called this man about this, I noticed in my call log that he had been calling me every minute for the last hour and a half to the degree that my phone had marked it as spam. wasn’t letting it ring When I got him on the phone to inquire about why he had sent a driver there without us making an appointment he asked me didn’t no one call me and I told him no and No calls the voicemail no text and. I’m not comfortable using you guys anymore with the way you’re going about that. Why would somebody show up there to get my car without my tag or me and then he proceeded to hang up in my face so that’s the service you’ll get there. That’s his attitude when he makes 1 million mistakes and it’s sad. I pray for him and I hope he does better with his business and and life. Jesus didn’t die for this. I can guarantee it to you Jesus didn’t give his life for you to take your frustrations out on me because you do bad business hanging up in my face was totally unnecessary totally unethical totally un Christian and ungodly and just add human for what because you messed up a sale because you get an organize or scheduling anything to get that No problem selling to you until you made it weird you asked me when I wanted my car picked up and then told me I couldn’t have it picked up and then tried to come get it regardless without permission you’re psychotic please to help I swear to God, Jesus saves you need to go to church. Also, I must add that I offered to bring the car to him as my husband is Tow truck driver at a yard less than 10 minutes from He insisted on giving me his free tow and having All of this confusion could’ve been settled with that but being Indignant that I didn’t sit around all day and wait for him to have a driver available and wasnt happy when he showed up for my car with no kind of notice the next day insane.

  Update #2 05/28/25: After several weeks of back and forth, I finally received a check. Although it took a while, they were true to their word. UPDATE 05/13/2025: It's been two weeks and 3 conversations since my last review and still they haven't sent a check. I get the run around every time I call. Poor communication. Poor Customer Service. Untrustworthy Business. I called them to pick up a vehicle to be scrapped. They said they would give me $650 for it and we agreed. I mailed the title but they haven't sent my check. I have tried calling, no one answers or returns my calls.

  Gave them a call and described my 2002 Kia, given a more than expected quote. Driver came same day, called when arrived and was very professional. No haggling down the quote of any kind and paid on the spot. Quick, easy and I highly recommend them to anyone.

  Al buys car aka Wheezly is super easy to work with they handled all the paperwork and customer service was very nice and friendly. The driver who picked up my vehicle was very courteous and nice and on time. They even came out the very next day to pick up my vehicle for free from the tow yard it was at.   Just know that what they offer you will get lowballed once they get in person. They will offer you $650 to get you to commit. They will get in person and tell you we can give $200 because the junk car is junk. Most yards are giving $450 so dont take less.

Beware of other places that quote you over the phone and then offer you lower prices with they arrive and make excuses of why they cannot pay as much. This place shoots straight. Thank you.

  I called just after 8am on a Sunday and Sam took my call right away and offered a better price than I expected, and said I could bring the car right in since it was still drivable. He paid me cash on the spot and the whole deal was done within 2 hours of finding them on google. Would definitely work with him again.

  Sam and Max were Amazing with Great Customer Service.   Called & spoke with Chris, he was very nice. Offered me a Great price for our car. As he was hanging up & said "Have a Blessed day," I knew I found the right company. When the tow driver London showed up the following afternoon, he was just as courteous & respectful as Chris was. He was both very patient & helpful as well. Definitely would recommend this company to anyone who doesn't want to deal with countless potential buyers & strangers coming to your house.   I blew my 20 year old car up and this company went above and beyond by giving me cash for my car and towing it and also the tow truck driver got permission to take me to the nearest gas station. They were genuinely concerned about my safety as I was in a pinch and trying to get home to my family almost 3 hours away. Sad my car blew up but under the circumstances this company has excellent customer service. 10 stars if I could give them that many.

  I needed a car to be towed and junked. Axel was very pleasant and gave me all of the information I requested and told me to call back if I had additional questions. With this being my first time junking a car, I had several questions. Each time I called back James answered the phone and was very patient and showed extreme understanding regarding my situation.   Called on a Friday to get my car picked up the following Monday.I was told the driver would be here Monday morning. Called back at 12pm. They said they would pick it up the next morning. I told them I couldn't be here, so they told me they would be here tonight before 8pm. Called at 6pm to confirm. Was told they'll pick up the following morning AGAIN! NO THANKS! GET WITH IT!!!

  This was my first time dealing with selling my car to Al Buys Junk Cars and it was a pleasant transaction. There was a minor hiccup with scheduling on their part but when the driver, Axel, arrived he was very nice. He was kind, had a nice conversation as he worked, and made me feel comfortable about letting go of my car. There were things I still needed to remove and he was so very patient and allowed me to have my privacy as I cleaned up alittle. The process was very short and a good experience.

  I went through these people with my friend and he is a very very awesome guy. Sam went from $125 to $210 with nothing but fun in between. Not to mention his son Axl made it here and a great amount of time so I was able to get the car out of the business before they were able to tow it. Called a couple of minutes after I hung up with Manny to let me know due to traffic he would be running about 15 minutes late. Definitely recommend them.

  Sam came to take my car and pay me but there was no catalytic converter so the price got cut down, I told him my situation and how I was trying to get into another car and they worked with me to get the most out of my car.
