Was my first time scrapping the previous week and although the employees were working hard and sweating in that heat they still helped me out the best they could. Will be going back from now on.
Worst experience ever. I thought I'd save time going to this place as our shop is rught around the corner. It took me an hour and a half to get out of there. That wasn't even the worst part this is largely because the employees are some of the worst communicators I've ever dealt with and get nasty when you can't hear what they are saying in a super loud environment. Yeah it's straightforward to them because they work there everyday. This was my first and last time going to trademark metals and recycling for sure lol.
They were all of what their reviews said that they were very kind very courteous and very easy to get in and sell your scrap I will always scrap here unless management changes lol
I picked up cans all over Orlando and Altamonte and when the other metal recycling places didn't want to accept my cans because I wasn't in a vehicle I would walk from Altamonte to Orlando to recycle. The customer service is exceptional those gentlemen do an awesome job.
Was pretty simple to get in. The gentleman at the vehicle scale gate was very helpful and informative. Wish they had more signage directing where to go for the various scrap categories. But everyone here was super nice and it really made up for the experience.
They don't organize ur materials on the scale they are supposed to be the professional metal buyers and don't separate ur metals properly and they make mistakes on there receipts forget to add numbers and tare scale would definitely never have my business ever again 70 pounds of aluminum and 30 dirty aluminum only 18$ they are so un American it's. Ridiculous
At least the gent at the gate was polite. After multiple unanswered phone calls, came by the Kaley location to see about selling some lead acid batteries. Not mentioned on the web site: a 2 battery/day limit, regardless of size. If you don't want to answer the phone, don't put "CALL US" in big green letters on the website.
I would not recommend Trademark Metal Recycling on Kaley Street to anybody employees their threatening bodily harm to customers with no punishment and if you stand your ground to them you will be removed and banned from their facilities.
If you have metal, scrap wire or most recyclable material & you need a couple bucks in you pocket to hold you over.. this is the place to go! Honest, helpful & friendly ..
From time to time I’m there just to get rid of things. Every time I have been there I have been blown away by how pleasant Jeff at the weigh station is. Today he even had a dog treat for my puppy. Interactions with him always make the trip.

Was there again today. Jeff never disappoints. Such a nice guy.
The minute I pulled up some rude femme young guy was telling me I came in the wrong way even though the entrance was blocked. He didn't even look at the copper he just said we can only cut checks to the company or the owner of the company. He says the city of Orlando requires this. I've been plumbing for 30 years and I've turned in my copper to multiple scrap yards throughout the area without any issue. Most scrap yards realize that this is the old copper coming from a repair. And rather going into the trash I recycling the old copper removed. The old defective copper has nothing to do with the company I work for because they've already paid for the new copper from the customers bill.. Don't waste your time with these Yahoo's that lie.
Friendly and efficient operation. Scrap metal yards can be intimidating to the general public but I've only had good experiences after a few times visiting TMR.
I loss my trip there to sell copper. They told me that want to paid me through mail. I think they are ripping people off. No one email checks. I did experience something similar on the past and I did not get the check mail home. Don’t recommend this place.
Best prices in town but plan on waiting and spending some time to get them. Yard always seems to be busy especially for non-ferrous. You will have to unload your car/truck and wait in line. One of the few locally that take ewaste. Does not have the service that some of the small yards provide but if you have time and want top dollar, this is your place.
If you have scrap that you want to get rid of and get the best prices for it this is the best place to go to in Orlando. I work in construction and always have leftover or surplus materials and take any leftover demolition to them and they’re always courteous, efficient and they give you the best prices.
These folks treat me right and have top prices paid. The entire staff was helpful and walked me through their process. Easy peasy payout with an ATM. Easy access from the street. Organized yard. TMR is my new recycling place! Thanks guys.
Incapable of loading a Truck out and having customers unload at the same time on a Saturday. Refused to unload a medium suized Boat Trailer from atop a load of Shred with Forklift as is the industry standard.
Just riding the Clock doing as little as possible. Needs better Supervision.

Great placeto get rid of your "junk" that's metal. They buy wire, electronic scrap, any copper, brass, aluminum and steel. Theyre prices are usually the most competitive in the Orlando area and will increase their price if you are getting a better price somewhere else as long as you can show proof. loud atmosphere but very friendly employees!
Great place to get rid of anything you have that is metal! Wire, steel, aluminum, copper and brass. It was my first time and they treated me so well! I felt safe and the staff were helpful. They also paid the highest prices compared to some of the other scrap yards in the area.
Fast and Simple! The Initial guy we dealt with who does the weighing for the trucks was very helpful and funny! Once we finished unloading and got re-weighed you walk right into the office and cash out. Straight forward and helpful! We will be using them in the future.
If you're able to dump on your own it's a great place. If you need any kind of assistance. Such as a forklift expect to wait a LONG LONG time. These guys seem to avoid real work, trying to pass you off to the next guy. Otherwise a great place.
They don't count all your weight. A whole cart of clean aluminum? And I got more in weight in brass? A hose spicket and faucet? Very wrong.... 89 dollars for a whole truck bed of cast, extrusion clean and dirty. And stainless. Almost as high as the cab. Very wrong.
FRIENDLY STAFF!!!! It was my first time here to sell my car and I got back way more than those CASH FOR YOUR CAR PEOPLE!!!! So happy I found this place they helped me with everything and the process was so easy and smooth- you get your money right there!!!!

I wasn't sure what I was doing the first time but they are pretty nice guys that are willing to help. Just pay attention and do what they say, you'll be happy coming here.
ALL the employees where so pleasant and helpful. I was a little worried as I didn't know what to expect but each employee did there best to explains the whole process and what steps to take. Nathan even handed out water! I wish I remembered all there names to say thank you. I left with $60 and a smile. They where all great!
Professional and friendly. My boys had been cans. They were from two of my boys and even give them to ice pops. Quick and prompt service definitely will come back again.
