The worst place to do business. The staff that work here are very unorganized. The clerk seems to not know where she's employed. She along with another employee gave the wrong address multiple times causing a whole lot of back and forth unnecessary driving and when you finally get there it's like you have to do the work for them....the work they said they will do cause they knew you were on the way. Very unprofessional and highly annoyed that I wasted my time when I was the one trying give you some business. First, last, NEVER AGAIN!! THEE WORST!!
I sold my car at a loss because after trying to sell it through Craigslist, Ebay, etc, the people who came by to see it were sketchy, didn't want to fill out a bill of sale, etc....so I just decided to let Dan's junk the car.
After we settled on a price, which was about half of what its worth, I told them to come get it under the assumption that I want the title transferred over immediately and I don't want it in my name due to liability issues.
I call the DMV almost 3 mos later and the car is still in my name. I talked to Connie at Dan's and she said it takes a week, 2 weeks, a month and sometimes 2 mos to transfer the title. Its going on 3 mos and nothing has been done.
If I would've known it was this much hassle to get the title out of my name once and for all, I could've just sold it to a buyer that I would then escort to the DMV that day so we could finalize the paperwork.
They'll give you the runaround, blame the DMV, meanwhile, the DMV will tell you to use their bill of sale (which I tried to get the driver to fill out when he picked up the car...he gave me their bill of sale instead and said it was good)
Im still waiting for the title to transfer. Its been almost 3 months.
Update. The owner finally responds 5 mos later. My car title STILL hasn't been transferred and I sold it to them almost a year ago. I call Julie, she then says I HAVE TO NOW GO TO THE DMV and make an appointment! When they lied to me and said THEY WOULD TAKE CARE OF IT!!!
I sold the car to them because I didn't want to have to waste time taking a day off work to do all this. Now, they are passing the buck and telling me I have to FIX THEIR MISTAKE!
DO NOT SELL YOUR CAR TO THESE CROOKS! They will not only lowball you on the price, you now have to do all the running around to take care of the paperwork they promise to do when they buy your car.
I would recommend this place to anyone who’s trying to get rid of their vehicle , even asking for parts , the ladies at the office are super knowledgeable. They also serve great help in answering questions when you’re not sure .

Called, was told they have motor cycle parts, transferred to parts department, guy said no. Not sure why they are listed as motor cycle salvage or salvaged parts online and why you get 2 different answers when you call? Oh well, search goes on. Lady was friendly who answered thou.
Rude customer service the woman whom picked up the phone was extremely rude and unprofessional, they gave me a low ball quote and didn't even ask me any detailed questions on the car to get an accurate one.
Fast pricing and no gimmicks. Some other places offer gas vouchers and stuff, but this place offers straight cash and no hassles. They did my paperwork, gave me a bill of sale and I was done! Great Service!
