First time selling metal. Found these guys online not knowing that I was walking in to a legendary place. All the employees/owner were kind and welcoming. The owner was willing to take the time to explain and answer any of my questions. If you are always selling scrap metal or if it’s your first time, go with USA Scrap Metal.
Been coming here for years. Consistently fair prices on all the coppers and aluminums. Never had an issue with anything. Julio and his crew run a solid operation. They also have dumpster rentals which I’ve used for larger cleanup jobs. Great local business.
Honestly had no clue what I was doing when I showed up with a truck bed full of old metal junk from my dad's garage cleanout. Two broken lawnmowers, some steel shelving, aluminum window frames, and a bunch of copper pipe. The crew here didn't make me feel stupid for not knowing anything. They explained how they price different metals and what they could actually take. Ended up getting like $160 which seemed fair for what looked like trash to me. Whole thing took maybe 35 minutes including unloading.
I manage a machine shop and we produce consistent scrap aluminum shavings and offcuts from our CNC operations, plus occasional steel and brass pieces. This scrap yard has handled our account for about 14 months now. They understand different aluminum alloys which matters for accurate pricing since we work with 6061 and 7075. They provide regular pickup service for our boxes. Pricing is super transparent. They are very profesional and very easy to communicate with. Located conveniently for our logistics trucks coming from the Medley area.
Sold about 200 lbs of mixed copper(#1 and #2) and some aluminum. They seperated everything properly and explained the different pricing for each type. Really appreciated the transperancy. They showed me the weights on the scale and broke down receipt by metal type. Their current market price was competitive. Will be back with more materials from our HVAC Jobs.
I've been a customer here for a couple of years, but my recent experience was very disappointing.
Today alone, the owner changed the price twice.
Aswell the owner was extremely rude and unprofessional toward me despite my long-term business.
Instead of addressing my concerns professionally, the owner responded in a dismissive and disrespectful manner, which made the situation unnecessarily uncomfortable. I have starters and they called the starters Plastic. They are highly unaware of different kinds of products. A transformer is filled with copper wire winded. They were also uneducated about that. This place is a SCAM!! I also had to advise the two uneducated helpers they had to weigh my products I had to tell their two workers to separate the two different kinds of wires because they are two different prices.
After being mistreated as a recurrent customer, I took my business elsewhere, and I heard bad things about this business. They are known for unprofessionalism and rudeness in the area.

I had a very disappointing experience with this scrap metal company. I arrived based on pricing information that was discussed beforehand, but once on site, the prices were changed without prior notice before the transaction was completed.
When I asked for clarification about the pricing change, the interaction became uncomfortable. I felt spoken to in a dismissive and condescending manner, and the overall tone was unprofessional. As a customer, I did not feel respected during the interaction.
Transparent pricing and respectful communication are important in any business. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. Based on this interaction, I would not recommend this company.
Great service and very informative. The guys were ready to help and un load. The whole time keeping us informed of all the different metals. Definitely recommend this place.

Compared to the areas around them they have way better prices! Not even by $0.10 more like $0.50+! Great people too! Very friendly and considerate! Made $535 from our 224 pounds of AC radiators and 47 pounds of cooper!
