This place is the best my father and I when to weigh out our brass at another place they said it weigh 50 pounds we went here and they gave us a honest amount of 91 pounds they are the best place you can go to honestly
As a truck driver, I truly appreciate places like this. They came out into the street and stopped traffic so I could get backed in. Fast loading. Really cool crew that works here. Thanks for the hat.
In my opinion, if you’re a man, they give you better price. I understand the market fluctuates so it may be simply my experience but when I go alone I don’t get what they offer my husband. Today was a good deal (my husband did the talking)
Worst place to take your metals to recycle. The manager always try’s to cheat you. Either he says it’s a lower grade metal . Or he try’s to cheat you out of the weight of the material. I recycled copper he clearly say it was at 42 pounds and writes 38 pounds . When I pointed it out he got mad and only added a pound more like he did me a favor .
Federal owners, and employees have a SUPER CLEAN reputation. People that are dedicated to, and knowledgeable of the importance of recycling All do business only with Federal. Federal owners and employees treat All customer's with respect, and fairness. They accept all recyclable material big, or small. I was recommended by a Lady that loved Federal. She told me Federal pays the highest prices. They treated her , like everyone else with the utmost respect. I only deal with Federal. Thank you Federal.
If I could rate them a Negative star I would....I just took a bunch of wire that was Needed for personal reasons. When I get there I'm a woman alone and it took about 5 men standing around to scale apparently one load. I see them really close to the scale, A very old fashioned sketchy scale that is extremely hard to read. They told me the amount of pounds it was, I knew it was wrong but they move that wire so quickly and I wasn't going to fight with about five grown men because people nowadays are crazy. I took whatever money I had which was nothing compared to what I needed and I walked away knowing I just got Robbed. Stay away.

Came to Federal to get rid of my hurricane shutters and these guys were great. They unloaded the shutters from my car and gave me some nice walking around money. Definitely check Federal out if you have some scrap you want to turn into CA$H.
Sketchy... first and last time coming here. The lady on the phone told me 95 cents per pound for clean aluminum and when i got there the workers dropped the price to 60 cents per pound. I called again (While at the place) and she switched completely as if i didnt even speak to her and told me 30 cents .I feel like they play with your weight DO NOT COME HERE. They were unsure of what to tell us and whole bunch of whispering and sushing amonst the wokers. They try and make you look stupid... But ill let them fool me once ... All for you guys. Take your metals somewhere else. Dont give these guys a paperclip.
Very rude over the phone and unprofessional. Called to check pricing but refused to give over the phone like it was some secret. Something sketchy about this company
First time visiting any metal recycling facility. It was easy finding this place with GPS. The people working there were quick to help unload my old 22" wheels that were damaged. No hagaling from owner/manager and seemed friendly too. They gave a better price per lb than I was expecting but still painful to scrap $1200 worth of wheels for a fraction of their original cost. Anyway got rid of junk and quick pocket change is always good. Just wish I could have got a little more for my wheels but they were fair on weight (I weighed them on my scale) and price.
TIGHT GETTING VAN IN BUT THE GUYS WORKING HERE HELP YOU GET INTO THIER LOADING AREA. YOU GOT GO DOWN THE STREET TO SCALE EMPTY AND LOADED MILES. SCALE IS SHORT SO YOU HAVE TO TUCK YOUR TRAILER TANDOMS IN ALL THE WAY UP TO FIT ON SCALE.
Pulled up on a Saturday to see they were very busy. The employees there helped me park and I was very impressed on how quickly I was unloaded and paid! Plus they paid me with a few two dollar bills!!!
