Very disappointed with this towing company. They forced me to drive 4 hours to pick up my own vehicle because they refused to release it to my son, even though I was willing to provide a notarized authorization letter.
They told me over the phone and to my son in person that they would only accept a notarized letter if I was outside the state of Florida. Since I was still in Florida even being 4 hours away they refused to cooperate. As a result, I had to drive 4 hours to South Florida and another 4 hours back because of their lack of professionalism and inconsistency.
What makes this even worse is that the information posted at their office was completely different from what they told me on the phone and from what they told my son in person. Their own posted policies did not match the information they were giving customers.
Very frustrating experience, poor communication, and unnecessary stress.

Be careful: this company behaves in a very suspicious manner. When my vehicle was towed, I called Alpine Towing multiple times and every call went straight to voicemail. I even asked the security guard from the property where my car was taken to help me call, since the company refused to answer me directly.
Additionally, my vehicle was towed even though it was properly parked and fully registered, which indicates an illegal tow and a possible coordinated pattern between the on-site security guard and the towing company.
Worst of all, despite my multiple calls, no one answered—but when the security guard made one call, they picked up immediately. This shows an intentional pattern designed to prevent the vehicle owner from communicating and retrieving their car, which is a clear violation of the availability and response requirements under Florida Statute 715.07.
They claimed they were “handling a police emergency,” which turned out to be false. After multiple attempts, the guard called once and they immediately answered, proving they were intentionally ignoring my calls.
This behavior shows a system that blocks consumers from having options, forcing them to go to the storage yard and pay whatever is demanded. Security staff appears to participate in this process, presenting it as a mistake, but everything points to intentional misconduct.
I strongly recommend that anyone reading this investigate their case, document everything, and defend their rights. This company abuses its authority, ignores the law, and acts improperly. Avoid them at all costs and consider reporting them to Miami-Dade Consumer Protection.
In addition, everyone affected should know that you have the legal right to request evidence of the tow, including photos of your vehicle before it was taken, the exact time, the reason for the tow, and the identification of the driver or the person who authorized it.
If the towing company refuses to provide this evidence, they are directly violating Florida Statute 715.07. And if they do provide it, use it to file a complaint, because those same photos and records often prove the tow was illegal.
This is not something that happens to you every day, but if you become a victim of these abusive practices, do not stay silent. They rely on people doing nothing. Document everything, insist on your rights, and file a formal complaint.

On November 23 at 11:39 pM, I called Alpine Towing Inc. to redeem my vehicle. I was told the office would open at 3 AM the next day. I never received a call back, which is a violation of Florida Statute 715.07(3)(a), requiring the towing company to respond and allow vehicle redemption within a reasonable time (maximum 1 hour).
Additionally, the person on the phone refused to identify themselves (possibly “Katty” or “Catty”), which violates Florida Statute 715.07(10), requiring transparency and accountability.
This behavior is unprofessional, illegal, and unacceptable. Document every interaction and consider reporting it to Miami-Dade Consumer Protection or the local police if needed.
I also want to report that Alpine Towing Inc.’s contact email does not work, and the website form also fails, making it impossible to reach the company to clarify a tow.
This is a clear example of obstructing due process. I recommend that any affected person carefully document everything and, if necessary, file a formal complaint.
We will continue reporting our case until this injustice is resolved. Don’t just leave a comment—this conduct must be investigated.

I am 100 % disabled veteran with disabled tags.they took my car while in a residential community no tow away zone at all ..no 24 hour violation sticket..they do not follow the law...sad to see companies take from those who that the law protects....
Horrible service. They have a lot of attitude. One they just out here towing peoples cars for no reason and when you call to get information they have a lot of attitude. Just don’t go here.

This company is extremely unprofessional. For towing a car, they take far too long and leave customers waiting with no communication. They don’t call back or provide updates, which shows a complete lack of respect for clients’ time. Very poor service — I would not recommend them to anyone
Horrible! They towed my son’s car while he was at work for “overnight parking” when his business is open until 2am. Then they wanted to switch the reasoning up when they saw we had a valid point. Made him pay $150 no matter what. We will be reporting them to the news and BBB.
They gave an original price of $120 to release our car and then threaten to keep our car until we paid $180 and would continue to raise the price if we didn’t pay the extra $60. They also threat to tow the car we drove in “just so they can have 2 of our cars”. Along with this extortion the disrespect and unprofessionalism goes without saying. Will be reporting to BBB.
Towed my car and told me it would be $172. Got there, and the guy extorted me charging me $280, then when I gave him $300 cash he told me they don’t have change so I’d just have to pay $300. Asked him for a receipt at least 3 times and he told me I couldn’t get a receipt for the $300. He gave me a towing order with $172 on it, so you know he just pocketed the extra cash. Thieves and extorters, can’t believe they operate legally like this. Disappointed.
This company is very rude and disrespectful they towed my sisters car and when we went to pick it up there was no one there. We called and they told us we had to wait till someone was there to get our car but we only have a 6 hour window to get it before they charge more money. When we arrived again to get our car he told us that because he didn’t see us in the camera we were not there and they would charge more to get the car then was rude because I told him we were in fact there waiting. He refused to speak with us any longer and walked off. They lie about the times so they can charge more money.
My car was towed wrongfully in MY OWN apartment building with a sticker , while there were other cars with no stickers. They didn’t take the other cars because they’re old and no one would claim them . They took my car for a quick check of $140 and then took 30 mins to come even attend me , when I have to go to work . Hire more employees and do better as people because this was disgusting.

They’re the worst. You have to make an appointment to get your car on Saturday’s and Sunday’s, but they still show up whenever they want. I had an appointment at 1:30 and she showed up after 2. Very rude and ask for insurance for whatever reason.

Vehicle was towed and upon calling them, they stated that a driver will be there in 30 minutes to release the vehicle. I responded to the Homestead location and it was closed. No one was there. I kept calling and they kept giving the round around and give different phone numbers to call. All were from different Alpine tow yard locations. They stopped answering the phone calls. The supervisor had to get involved and even he was unprofessional and stopped answering the phone calls. They would all put you on hold and then the call would be sent to voicemail. It took over three hours to get the vehicle.
The Employees name I was able to get Luis, Bermen, Gretchen, Isabela, and Mayli, were extremely unprofessional and need customer service training.

Was just at a family's house parked in their personal parking and my vehicle was towed. I called and they said that security called and when I checked with them none of them had called. My family member has had others towed even with the register sticker on the car! These people are unprofessional and go around just towing knowing that what they are doing is wrong. They are criminals with a towing truck..Im tired of them taking vehicles in the middle of the day from peoples houses not the streets, plus this is not the first vehicle that they tow from me from in front of my own house too so I'm reporting them to the buisness burial
I parked in a visitor’s spot at a family member’s house for less than 2 hours, and my car was towed by Alpine Towing. Despite their website claiming they are available 24 hours, I was told I couldn’t pick up my car until after 8:00 AM. This company is misleading and sketchy with their practices. Be warned if you find yourself dealing with them.
Lo peor que te puede suceder es que esta gente te remolques el carro ,groseros faltas de respeto se inventan las normas al momento según les convenga al parecer el servicio al consumidor no tiene potestad sobre estos negocios y los condominios ya que al parecer funcionan como una mafia en mi caso woodside oaks no es posible que pusieran una nueva norma y nadie se entero y en una sola noche remolcaron más de 20 carros digno de denunciar
Terrible, unprofessional service here. I waited an hour to pick up my car. The guy over the phone said the girl was on her “30 minute break” I called at 3:19pm. I waited outside the yard until 4:30 still no sign of this worker.
What’s even more crazy is that the lady up front is supposed to be there working at all times and not leaving to do personal things.
After corporate telling them to wave my fee to get my car out due to the fact that there was absolutely no one there to attend me, they still didn’t care they wanted their $ and be done with it. If I can give this place 0 stairs I would on a heart beat.

Was lied to and manipulated by this company. First I was told that my car was in the police impound, and that I couldn’t get it back. Called the Homestead police department who confirmed that this company does not tow for the police department at all. Was told that my temporary registration would not work to get me my car back, and that I needed a title in my name. Even though my car was just bought and my name was on the bill of sale. Was told because my name wasn’t on the “title” that I could not get my car back. clearly the plates said temporary until February 5th when the new plates were due. The car was clearly temporarily registered in my name, and had all of my paperwork including proof of insurance. Went down to South Dade Tag Agency and told them I needed paperwork to get my car back. They literally renewed my temporary registration. The agency ultimately just extended my date from February 5th to February 20th, which I am thankful for. I still didn’t have the title in my name because it was just bought and I was given until a certain date. Eventually he gave me my car back the second time around using the same paperwork he originally would not accept😂. After charging me extra money towards the vehicle. If the guy needed the money I would’ve been fine with tipping him. Clearly was given the run around just to extend time for my payment.
My car was then steering horribly which I didn’t realize until I was driving it back
Home. I called to ask what can I do and they told me “it was too late and that I should’ve know what was wrong with it before I left”. Once I responded “I didn’t know the steering or alignment was messed up because it was parked and it took me to drive it to find out” they immediately canceled the call. I called back and someone else answered and said “the call disconnected” I was then placed on hold and was not given a response back.
