Beautiful location. Worth a visit a couple times to catch high and low tide. Both amazing sights to see. If you plan it correctly you can catch both tides in one day.

The best space and beaches, but the parking slots too small.

The ocean water was incredibly blue. Almost like Turks and Caios. It's free parking. No admission ticket. Just great walk on the beach.

AMAZING!! Especially for being free, this is a beautiful place to take your family! Rocks are very unique and going a bit before high tide is a good idea! We went a few hours before high tide and walked a while along the beach and then came back. It is hard to find a parking spot though.. just try to keep that in mind!

Blowing Rocks Preserve is 73 acres of natural habitat on the south end of Jupiter Island. The Anastasia limestone outcropping is the largest exposed section on the east coast. When the tide is high and the wind is favorable, the waves hit the rocks and create magnificent plumes. The education center is across the street from the beach and has lots of displays to explore, restroom facilities and there are hiking trails of varying lengths and capabilities, from sandy trail to a boardwalk through the mangroves. Admission is free, but a donation is welcomed. Parking is scarce, weekdays are much lower traffic than the weekends/holidays. Consider a ride or park at Coral Cove 1 mile south and stroll up the beach or the sidewalk to the Preserve. Beach is not lifeguard protected.

Absolutely one of my favorite ocean photo spot near West Palm Beach. Lots of beautiful shells for seashelling. Free parking but limited. We arrived early at opening time and they fill up quick. Beautiful walk to beach with surrounding trees. Clean with bathroom available.

Very unique place. Not exactly Big Sur, but twenty foot cliffs are pretty impressive and maybe the only place like it in Florida. And at high tide, with a rough surf, the water can funnel through the rocks and shoot up through holes in the rocks, shooting into the air, like the name says. Small parking lot that fills up quickly. And the pathway through the trees is pretty awesome, too. Mikey Likey.

Beautiful beach. We went during low tide and it was still a great time. Due to limited parking on the beach side and visitor center, its not really busy.

Free, donation encouraged. Parking very limited. Go early. Worth going to see the uniqueness of the rocks and hearing the waves crash against them to blast through the holes. Best seen at high tide. Due to the limited parking the beach is not crowded. Long trail through a tunnel of sea grape trees. Showers available at the entrance. Nice informative displays in the center, other trails to explore.

Nice little spot we randomly found on our map as we were driving towards Dubois Park. There are a few nature walks that you'll see lots of tiny crabs scattered about. The mangrove tunnel walk along the beach is also very cool. We were there at low tide so we didn't see the blowing rocks effect so if that's what you're interested in, I'd say to check out the tide schedule before you go and go at high tide. The stop was still worth it for a stroll along the beach and the tunnel area. It was a red flag day so there weren't people in the water, just sitting on the beach or walking along it. It wasn't very crowded either and there was plenty of parking available. I'd recommend this stop as you peruse through the area.

One side had a rocky beach with medium waves, swimming allowed but no lifeguards. The other had a sand beach with trees with barnacles growing on them, with a small trail at the end teeming with tiny crabs (pictured); the bugs and foul odor quickly became too oppressive for us to tolerate in this area. The tree tunnels are neat-looking but full of huge spiders so we didn’t walk through them either. I wouldn’t say it’s a must-see, personally.

Even on a stormy day this beach is good for your soul. It's the only Florida beach I know of with rock formations. Go at high tide for maximum effect. There are a lot of shells here too so it's nice for walking. It's a short walk from the parking area through the mangrove path and over the wood stairs. It's not accessible by wheelchair in that area and parking is limited. Don't park outside of the lot. Police are often there. It's best on a weekday. You can also cross the road to explore more trails and the educational center. This is a highlight of Jupiter and Tequesta.

Our absolute favorite place to visit on Jupiter Island. It is worth noting that you want to be careful walking around. And never turn your back to the ocean. Waves here can quickly crash over the rocks leaving you soaked from head to toe. The sand will also give you a workout. Parking is at an extreme premium, get there early and you should be fine, but if there are none of the very few spots left, head south to Coral Cove and try your luck there.

Beautiful! However, please note the following. The sand is EXTREMELY HOT! Use tennis shoes. It is also very soft and your feet sinks deep into it, so it is not easy to walk for those who are on the plus size, like myself, 258 lbs. Otherwise, I loved the scenery. The day I went, it was high tide and choppy, so be careful if you decide to swim because there were a lot of shells and it was hard to walk in and out of the water. I suggest you use water shoes.

Phenomenal place to get out and experience the beauty of Mother Nature. Parking is limited so try and get there early. They ask for a donation for entrance but it’s not required. Great shaded trails, bathrooms and showers to wash off all the sand. The beach itself is gorgeous! I went high tide to see the waves crash on the rocks. Dramatic effect!

No reservations required, but two first come first serve parking lots. They ask for a donation to keep the preserve kept. Went on a weekday morning around 1000 and had no issues! Beach was quiet, and then started filling up with kids and families. High tide was this morning, so the water was going out, and was calm. Perfect for snorkeling! Saw at least 6 different types of fish, one was about 36”-40” long! Definitely want to come back here.

Such a unique place for Florida. Parking was a bit confusing at first, as we thought there was only one lot with a single row. Just before that lot there is a turn-in to park at the education center which has much more space. Definitely check out the education center! It talks about preservation efforts of local coral reefs, sea turtles, etc. Attached to it are boardwalks that are good for birding. Parking lot gravel has little fossil shells in it, but be sure not to block traffic if you choose to take a look! Also by the education center is a native plant garden, and if you walk a ways you can see a little nursery, too. The rocks themselves, oh my goodness! We went at low tide to see the tide pools. You can walk along the cliffs and look for shells, but be careful not to go too far into the water as it is a serious tripping hazard on that limestone. Lots of cracks and crevices to explore! Very worth the stop.

Really cool place. While we missed high tide (and therefore the blowholes), we enjoyed walking amongst the rock outcroppings at low tide and seeing the uniqueness of the area. Highly recommend if you are in the area, regardless of tide level.

I've lived 14 years in Florida and with small variations the beach is.. well, just a beach, except this one! The coastal rocky feel with the black sand is very unique, the dunes are extra beautiful here too, I absolutely loved it and it's a definite must see.

We enjoyed our visit. Short boardwalk walk through some woods, with information plaques along the way. There is a butterfly garden although there wasn’t many butterflies when we were there last week. It’s free, there is a small indoor portion with lots of info and pictures and some other displays. The rocks are across the street. They are beautiful. This is a short visit. It’s not anything spectacular but we found it a nice place to visit full of beauty and information.

Magical place. You have to check for recent photos since it was our 2nd time visiting, and the first time there was nothing to see. It was almost completely buried in the sand. But this time, it was beautiful. I couldn't believe the difference. We went at low tide so we could walk under the rocks, and it was breathtaking. We got there on a Saturday morning and we had to wait for about 10 minutes to park, since there is not much parking space.

Blowing Rocks Preserve in Jupiter, FL is truly a hidden gem. From the moment we stepped onto the beach, the sound of the waves crashing against the limestone formations was absolutely mesmerizing—powerful, calming, and unforgettable. The sand is some of the softest I’ve ever felt, almost like walking on flour. It adds to the peaceful, untouched vibe of the entire preserve. There’s a convenient wash station on the way back toward the parking area, which made cleaning up easy. Bathrooms are available at the exhibit facility near the parking lot, which is a short walk and well-maintained. Parking can be a little tight near the entrance, but there’s plenty of space if you park a bit down the street. Well worth the short walk for this kind of experience. Whether you’re here for the views, the sounds, or just to relax, this place is definitely a must-visit.

This preserve is tucked away in Jupiter. It's an easy drive from Port St Lucie. Plenty of free parking. You'll find clean bathrooms in the guest area. Upon entering the extraordinary scenic and welcoming preserve I immediately felt as if I had stepped into another world. The short walk to the rocks is gorgeous. If you go on a sunny day you know you've reach the beach because the beautiful blue sky will welcome you. Although I did not get to experience high tide and see the water kiss the tall rocks it was well worth the trip. Definitely bring an umbrella and wear skin block as the rays are intense and there's no shaded areas on the beach. A must visit!

Breath taking, simply beautiful and peaceful in so many ways. Seeing something like this in FL will have you feel like you are far away from home. The water is beautiful and blue, I wouldn't recommend swimming unless you are a professional but definitely worth seeing and adding on your bucket list for backyard adventures. IF you can find parking, not due to it being "packed" but the size and amount of spaces for a place like that is crazy so get there early or prepare to drive up and down until someone leaves.

Amazing place to visit. When you get down the walking path there are a couple overlook decks with benches and a steeper staircase down to the beach. You have to walk up the beach to your right for blowing rocks. It’s amazing. If you want to get the whole experience pay attention to when the tides are high tide will give you the best show of it absolute power. Rougher seas make it show off more. I can’t wait to come back and spend much more time there.
