Purchased two new tires for my RV. Everyone here was polite and professional! Great experience.

First visit day after Christmas and all went well way beyond expectations thank you for courteous service and quick repair

The actual work that was completed (an alignment) was good. I had a certain camber spec that I wanted to achieve as teslas have major tire wearing issues so I bought camber arms to rectify the issue and installed them at home. The moment I called and asked if they could align the car that had these arms, they immediately said they don’t touch cars with modified suspension (even though these arms FIX an OEM issue). I brought it in anyways as another company has aligned my car 7 times now but they were booked out 2-3 weeks and I needed to take a road trip the next morning. Once I arrive - the main shop guy saw the car and his buddy too, and since its lowered by 3/4 of an inch from factory (same ride height as the performance model) they immediately refused service claiming its modified, and it’s too low, and the front lip is carbon they don’t want to damage it, etc. without even hearing me out as to what I’m looking to accomplish…just a lazy immediate, nah not working on it. I told them fine, what if I remove the front lip so it gets rid of that excuse, I can do it in the parking lot…they agreed and lent me a screw driver to take it off in 3-5 minutes. They finally agreed to put it on the alignment rack after pleading with them that is is a normal car, with normal suspension, and that aligning it should actually not be as impossible as they made it out to be. I then asked if they could hit a certain camber spec for the rear, and got met with a nasty attitude and dismissive saying “yeah hmm idk, we’ll see” . So I leave and come back 10 minutes later and see the camber specs at -0.7 and -1.9 while the guy with the attitude set the toe and was wrapping up the rear alignment. I asked if we could even out the camber specs (as the arms I installed had the ability to do it) and aim for the spec I wanted (-1.7 each side) and again met with an annoyed sigh of expression. A minute later, he said “hey so you’re irritating me watching me work, please go away somewhere else”… very rude and only that way because he didn’t want to work on the car, wanted to do a toe adjustment only and get me outta the shop. Once I double checked his work and asked him to do the full alignment (which is what I’m paying for) he got mad and threw a fit. Guy has an extremely rude attitude. Paid a price “premium” as it’s a Tesla too at $270 out the door for an alignment performed by a person who I had to pull their teeth to align it…

Great shop in Hobe Sound, been using them for years. Recently had my lifted 2500 diesel towed in overnight with a broken drag link steering bar. They went above and beyond to find the part that fit the lift (not factory stock). Full oil change and new set of tires while in there, and the truck is good as new. Thanks like always!

I brought my 2022 Nissan Frontier in today for a front end alignment. My first time using St Lucie Battery and Tire. I found everyone to be very friendly, courteous, and professional. They also had the best price for a front end alignment by at least $20. My experience was very positive today. Took my truck back even before my scheduled appointment time. Work was done in a timely manner. I would recommend this business to anyone looking for a good value and a trusted repair center. I’ll be going back there in the future for sure. ??

Had an 8:00 A.M. appointment for emergency brake adjustment and tire rotation. Was greeted politely and asked what needed to be done. Vehicle was driven into the bay promptly and work started quick. I was out of the shop before 9 and charged less than another shop had quoted me. Technician in a professional manner explained the labor done. Thoroughly pleased with entire staff.

This is hands-down some of the best service I have experience anywhere around Martin County, I have been using this service for quite a while now and its always been great. They always seem to put customer service as their first priority. Great value and fair competitive pricing.

I truly wish that the manager of this place treats everyone who enters his store just as he did me! That way, they will be out of business in short fassion! I got whacked! Nuf said.

This place used to be awesome. It’s definitely not the same as when Josh was managing the front desk. He was knowledgeable, efficient, pleasant, and courteous. If he didn’t quit, and they just moved him elsewhere, they need to move him back ASAP. If he did quit, I can’t blame him. During his last days the computers were always down, internet was barely functioning, and I saw no efforts being made on management’s part to remedy the situation. I saw utter frustration on the part of those working the desk. I’m not sure those running the desk now know what they are doing, and they are somewhat unprofessional. I’m considering going to the St. Lucie Battery and Tire in Palm City. My neighbor highly recommends it.

I used to love to take my work truck into St. Lucie battery and tire in Hobe sound until they took Josh out of the office. When you call, they tell you they’re too busy call back later. Can’t seem to answer Any questions that you have. it’s a crying shame. Many businesses have become come this way.

I bought 4 tires in July 2024 with 13 month warranty on them, 1 of the rear tires became cupped most likely separated bands in tire, took truck in on 2/22/25 to have them to check it out they said all 4 of my ball joints were bad and that's what cause the rear tire to cup,, does that make sense? No not at all ..over 1200.00 spent on these tires and they can't Honor their warranty.. had a few people tell me not to go to St.Lucie Battery and Tire in Hobe Sound. I told the store I'll take my business somewhere else.. caution aware of that store nothing but rip offs..

I always always seem to develop car troubles when it’s a holiday. This was no exception. St. Lucie Battery and Tire gave me the absolute greatest service. Lou and his team were incredible at evaluating a difficult problem and having my car repaired at least 2 days ahead of schedule enabling me to have my car for this important week. I am grateful I found them. I’ve relied on them for years!

Please find somewhere else to take your car this is the worst experience I've ever had with getting my car fixed in Hobe Sound the lady at the front was very rude and disrespectful there was a lack of communication between their office and their corporate office as well as them communicating with their customer and they had no compassion or remorse for giving misinformation on when to pick her up or even that the parts were not correctly ordered for my car.... Service was absolutely terrible. I was lied to about the pricing which I will leave another review with my receipts on it please people find you another auto mechanic shop that is trustworthy and honest and dependable. Brought my vehicle in for oil change and tire rotation. I was done in less than an hour. Andrea was very polite and additionally told me that my previous service (it was at Firestone) had tightened my pan plug too much. It broke as a result. St. Lucie Battery & Tire replaced it. Genuinely appreciated their doing so. I previously bought my tires here. Fair price and a great ride. Smooth and quiet. I continue to recommend St. Lucie Battery & Tire to Friends and neighbors. They are conveniently located on US 1 in Hobe Sound. Their pricing is very fair.

Concierged my Mom’s Lexus, dropping me off at work down the street as I manage the Islands Auto Spa ?️ He will give you an honest price and they do quality work, got my Mom squared away with new tires, oil change and cabin air filter. St. Lucie Battery & Tire in Hobe Sound has earned my loyalty by treating me exceptionally well for years. Today was no exception. Andrew and Andrea cordially welcomed me when I arrived. Service on my RV was completed promptly at a fair price. I’m returning next week for a new set of tires. I highly recommend them for auto and RV service and repair.

I stopped in to the Hobe Sound, St., Lucie, Battery in Tire service center for an oil change and to have my tires rotated. The service took an hour and two minutes which I felt was very quick. Everyone was friendly and courteous, a mostly clean bathroom, coffee provided TV for viewing overall a really good experience.
