This store gives the AutoZone brand a bad name. I stood at the counter waiting for assistance and was not acknowledged. I eventually had to go to the back of the store to ask if anyone was working the counter. When the return question came up, the manager, Rika, came out. Her demeanor was immediately annoyed and hostile, and her behavior came across as petty and unprofessional. She initially instructed her employee to process the return as a damaged return because the tool had been opened and did not work for the job. She then reversed course and refused the return, stating that it could not be processed because the item was not purchased at this specific store. This is not consistent with how AutoZone does business. Items purchased at AutoZone can be returned to any AutoZone location. I was then told I would need to drive 30 minutes to another store because she was no longer willing to complete the return. This is not the first time I have witnessed this manager behave in a bullying manner toward customers. That type of behavior drives people to competitors. AutoZone is usually known for helpful employees who assist customers when breakdowns happen at inconvenient times. This location does not reflect that standard. The posted sign prohibiting repairs in the parking lot reinforces the lack of customer-friendly service at this store. AutoZone Management, remove Rika from your team and watch your customer satisfaction and sales numbers increase, her attitude is handicapping your store

Amazing service, such a great help! Went to another location and no one there knew how to open my key fob to check battery size ? Came here and staff here were actually knowledgeable about autos…thank you?

Did a pick up order here only to get started on a brake job to realize the lady behind the counter gave me the incorrect brakes. I was able to return them the next day, without a problem. However, if the car I was working on would have been my only mode of transportation I would have been stuck trying to bum a ride from a friend or shelling out money to Uber, because of a mistake on their end with the employee not giving me the correct parts.

Manager is horrible. I bought a new battery because my old one isn't charging, even though its getting proper voltage from alternator. I put the new one in and it cranked over and died immediately. Had her come out and test it. Said it was good, but it read at 77% and she said that was fine and a single crank can take over 20% of the battery juice. Then wanted to argue with me about returning it for another one. Also tried to tell me my alternator was bad when its only 2 years old. I took it across the street to Adanced Auto and they tested and found the alternator to be fine. On top of all that she didn't even do the alternator test properly, they are supposed to have you rev the engine, not just check it when its idle. She would have had me buying a $200 alternator and swapping out a perfectly good part. smh They acted as if it was impossible to get a bad battery, when most of them are rebuilt from old cores ppl turned in. It pissed me off that they tried to gas light and argue with me and then had the nerve to get mad when I matched their aggressive energy. I felt like I was in a relationship with her. ?. I just came in the store for a battery, I don't know you like that. I been working on my own vehicles for years, so I know she was full of ish, feel bad for all the ppl who don't know better and she just tells them its all good. Just be humble and admit you were wrong, it ain't that hard to do. smh. I wasn't even mad the first bad was bad, I was mad they said it was good and tried to send me on my merry way.

We are local residents in this area. My husband walked in 2 young girls are working today October 21 2:30pm, he waited to be acknowledged and wasn’t. He finally asked the girl holding boxes to help him check out the battery of my car in which the girl said “I don’t know” and walked away with her boxes. Absolutely no care no customer services and rude. We went to Advance Auto Parts next door and spent $280 on new batteries. Will never return. Thanks for nothing!

Came in to get windshield wiper fluid and car fresheners. Ended up also buying some rain-x thanks to Jersey!!! She was very welcoming, personable and helpful during my visit! :) 10/10 recommend!

I’ve been to three AutoZones in the past week. Everyone has been fantastic. That said, this one went above and beyond today. This has solidified my choice no matter what side of the street it’s on. I’m going to AutoZone.

Shorty O was very helpful in helping me find the right break light for my car . He was very helpful and knowledgeable about what he is speaking about I will start asking for him every time I go in . He took his time and was very patient with me . He is amazing and would give him more than 5 stars if I could .

Everyone here was very nice to me :) Rhea was explaining the options I had for replacing my car battery, she was answering all the questions I had. I definitely would come back and reccomend to others to stop by for their car needs!

Came in looking for a specific sized socket wrench, checked the tool isle didn't see the size so I went to the checkout lane and asked the associate for help, the associate didn't know what I was asking about, so she called a manager, and the manager said "look down the tool isle." Ended up going to O'reillys where they actually helped find the correct socket I needed. ?

This past Tuesday on 6/11, I was in a really tough spot. I needed a battery replacement or else I would be stuck with my car. The friendly staff accommodated me, replaced my car battery and had me in my way within minutes! I would definitely recommend.

Bought a battery dead off the shelf. I returned it and spoke to a rude manager named Wayne in the store in ruskin. Wayne didn't believe me that the battery was dead. He insisted that he had to test it himself and I said, go right ahead, I already tested the battery. It's not making the right voltage. He tested the battery and sure enough. It was dead. I asked him if I could exchange it for a new battery and again. Rudely, he said, no, he would have to charge it. And if it comes back dead again, then he will give me a new battery. I said so what I have to wait here while you charge it? He said, or come back, it's your choice. You sold me a dead battery, and then I have to jump through hoops to replace it. What a stupid policy and a jerk manager never will.I return to this store again.

On May 4, Sunday morning at 8:00 Luis came outside and plugged a flat tire I had and help me pick out the right compressor to air up the tire and put my wife and I back on the road with our travels never once did he complain about getting soaking wet a great job and helped us move along what a great experience

Wayne was the absolute best help in my time of need! Had battery and wiper blade troubles, and he took the time to help me understand which battery was best for me, replaced it quickly and efficiently, and did it all with a very pleasant demeanor despite it being a pretty busy day!

Highly recommend this store! especially because of the friendly and helpful service provided by Jersey Soto. She was busy handling her business, however when she was done she was quick to tend to me and answer any and all questions I had. Very pleased and will be returning to this location for any I need for my vehicles!

Not a good experience. All I was looking for was a phone charger. The girl working the register needs training in customer service asap. Very condescending and with an attitude. She is obviously taking her job way too serious! I would recommend removing her from the register until she gets some training.

Totally impressed with the staff at this store today, I wish I would have gotten names but I was buying refrigerant and the bigger fella checking me out said we should check the car first since there are no returns. Sure enough I had the wrong type and he sold me the correct one. Got home and it didn't work. Went back and same bigger guy greeted me and got another guy to help me out. I was frustrated and the other guy did all he could to help. He was able to determine something was defective, explained what the problem was (and that it wasn't me) and sent me out the door with a functional item. I wish I had gotten names because these two guys were on their games today. I wanted to go back inside and say thank you but I was way behind by that point. So Thank You guys, keep doing what you do.

" this is not a open and return store, so no there are no returns " it's what I was told by the "manager " Wayne. These managers need to be trained more on customer service, didn't even bother to talk to me. It was a straight no and Leave. Good job autozone. The attitude given to the customers is unacceptable.

Huge THANK YOU to William who took the time to not only get me the proper battery for my YMM but also confirm the battery was indeed BAD. Another huge THANK YOU to Wayne who uninstalled my old battery and replaced it with a new one neatly and properly! I appreciate the help today gentleman. The guy who ran the diagnostics on my car was very helpful. I got a printout from him that showed what was happening with my car. It turns out that it was just a sensor that got dirty when I got my oil changed. Thankful that Auto Zone gave me the printout I needed to take to the people who changed my oil and thankful that someone there knew what that diagnostic code meant.

I have been in customer service for over a decade. I come from a family of customer service personnel.... Jaxson is the best customer service representative I have personally met in the auto industry, as a woman. I was treated with respect and he never brushed me off. He took his time to help me and make me feel like I was the only customer. I watched him make the same happen for other customers as I waited to speak with management. He clearly communicated store policy when the situation required it. He is clean cut and spoke extremely respectfully opting for silence without reaction after bouncing his head off the corner of my car's hood. I would give him a 5 star rating. I've dealt with him twice in a week and he hasn't broke his professionalism either time.

Jaxson was phenomenal. Despite having a low quantity of the product that I needed, he searched entire store while keeping me informed of how to process we're going. And at the end of the transaction, I was able to leave what I needed to fix my car.

I had an awesome experience with Siria and Cornell today. I purchased a battery and they took the time to put it on for me. It was a very difficult process but they got through it while maintaining a positive vibe. I really appreciate the service and that keeps me coming back. Wayne is the man! Had a battery in my ram leaking and getting ready to be a real problem so I pulled off and Wayne G. Was the man with the plan. He helped install and gave me a ton of pointers and information I didn’t know. Humble down to earth guy and excellent customer service! I’d recommend to anyone in the area for sure.

Sophia checked my van with an electric device and printed out what needs to be repaired and she helped fill my radiator with coolant.Also there was a very nice young man(sorry I don't remember his name) who explained the printout too...I believe he is going to school to be a mechanic. I really appreciate them both for their professionalism and kindness.

2 weeks ago I chose to go to this location (to avoid a the one star experience at a closer store location). There were a few people in line so I tried to find an item on my own. Micah approached and asked if I needed assistance. He was respectful, polite and went to the computer to verify the item was the appropriate for my car’s make and model. He even consulted with another associate (Edwin). Both showed professionalism and teamwork. Great Job!
