I worked with a young man named Daniel. He had excellent customer service and seemed well versed on what I needed. I came in needing one thing and I mentioned something about possibly having battery issues. He checked it immediately. If anyone believes in perfect timing . Daniel was exactly where he needed to be. Needless to say my battery hardly had any voltage left. I purchased one right away…. What can I say “ I’m just a girl”😂 Thanks daniel

Very knowledgeable staff ! Eileen was able to find me a window regulator for my Mercedes Benz that nether auto zone or orielly could not find! She went above and beyond to help me out and got it here with in a week.

My elderly mother was a nervous wreck Going into the parts store for the first time ever alone because her vehicle wouldn’t start and had to get jumped. Barb, the store manager notice how uncomfortable my mother looked and she asked her if she could help her with anything. She told her that she had to get jumped and she didn’t know if anything was wrong with her vehicle or went out there personally and check the battery output and alternator output. And she showed my mother on the Little machine so she could understand and they got the battery installed for her at no charge with a great warranty. She was also able to show my mother how to top off her washer fluid, and help her how to check her oil on her dipstick. It feels good knowing that Someone didn’t take advantage of her and can show her first hand when I wasn’t in the area.

I don't normally write bad reviews. I usually just move on with my day and never go to that establishment again. However, my experience at this advance auto was so outrageous and not one person apologized. I needed a new battery for my car. The guy brings his utility cart with the new battery. He doesn't even get my old one out and the wind blows his cart down and there are like 50 different tools EVERYWHERE. My step dad and I started to help pick up all these peices on the ground to help him out. He then starts to SCREAM at us saying we are too close to his personal space and he will not be installing my battery and then just walked inside the store with all his tool peices and cart laying in the parking lot. I go back inside to try to nicely convince him that we were just trying to help pick up the peices before they rolled all over the parking lot. He then said he didnt care we entered his personal space and he can't work with us. So then I go outside and some other customer from store said he saw the whole thing and it was really messed up the employee acted like that and tried to help my step dad pick up all the peices and get the new battery in my car. Another worker came out and said he didnt know what happened but he facilitated the rest of the installation. Not once did anyone from advance auto apologize for this incident. The manager was there and was aware of what happened. She just wanted to act like it wasn't happening and continue on with her shift. I really was just looking for "hey, that was weird. So sorry about all that let's get this taken care of for you" that is apparently too much. This location needs to train their employees better and get new management.

I had the wonderful pleasure of shopping at the Advanced Auto Parts Store # 09514 located on 802 N. US Highway 41 in Ruskin Florida on August 16, 2025. The manager, Barb and team member Ron did a fabulous job assisting me with my car needs. Barb recommended that I purchase the “all weather” gorilla black tape to ensure that my side view mirror would be fully attached until I could get it repaired at the dealership. Then team member Ron did an Outstanding job wrapping the gorilla tape around my side view mirror. It is now October and so far so good thank you again for the exceptional Customer Service and going above and beyond. I recommend this place to all of my friends, family members and neighbors as well. I tried to attach pictures but it wouldn’t allow me to do so.

Barb!! She is amazing!! Cannot thank her enough for her speed and service, she literally had like five people in line while managing the phone system and ringing people up on two registers, best service I’ve seen in a while!! We need more people like her and she needs a raise!! Much respect to her!!

After a certain time the guys that are in there are useless Saturday after 5pm forget about the guy his in the back eating after finishing whatever he was eating came back to the counter showed him the part and because they didn’t carry the part in the store he wouldn’t even bother to look the part up poor sales man ship even worse customer service I’ll never go back after five pm that’s when they have the lazy ones working zero effort and same sorry customer service from teenagers

I try and avoid this location whenever possible. A couple of the men that work here make me very uncomfortable, one in particular. They also don't seem to know much about anything and always have to look everything up. I go across the street...more knowledgeable and less uncomfortable.

Used to love coming here but I called for a quick inquiry and Michael loves to talk to women as if we're ignorant and know nothing about cars. Found it necessary to talk slow enough for me to comprehend and also in a super condescending tone. When I also made a comment, interrupted me and said he had people waiting, then why not place me on hold instead of waste your time? Rude and severely unprofessional. Definitely going to a different shop until he's gone lol

After having an issue with the installation of some wiper blades, I contacted the regional office to help resolve the situation and have to say was provided with very fast, effortless, and complete resolution! Barbara completely turned the situation around, making me a happy customer!

I went in today to get a new battery and met with Jackson and Ryan! They were both so nice and helpful. They had great personalities Which is a hard thing to find these days in workers.! They made my trip pleasant they helped me get a new battery even carried it out to my car! Thank you, boys for being great employees and being so kind! You guys deserve a raise!

We buy the 8.49 bulp and went we go to pay they charge me 14.something we ask the cashier and he answer they are in the wrong Spot but if you see all of them are in the wrong Spot be serios we spend but dont abuse

We visited the store yesterday with a bit of an emergency and were delighted to find that the store was open and very welcoming. I can tell you from a female perspective, that walking into auto parts stores has never been on my top 10 list of enjoyable things to do. There are always too many options along with responses to questions that make you feel a bit stupid. So when we learned that our daughter's new car battery had died when we returned from a family trip, I was already anxious about making the exchange for a new one. What was so refreshing was that they weren't terribly busy at the time, and the manager on duty, Barb, was incredibly helpful, understanding and quite impressive with her knowledge of auto makes/models, parts, etc. while handling other customer questions. Also, when I walked in, I noticed it didn't have that strong rubber smell or the feel dirty when you touched the countertops. Overall, impressed with the friendliness, cleanliness and customer service. Highly recommend!

I have never met a more professional staff. Ryan was the ultimate professional. From the time I entered the store he was super helpful. I was stressed about how to install some parts. He talked me through the process. Also Sebastian, Ron, CJ, and Drew were also helpful. These group of men can’t be matched. Promote these guys.. I want to let everyone know, this was the best auto store and staff I’ve ever encountered. Kudos to advance auto parts Ruskin.

Ryan at the Ruskin location saw me struggling with the wrong adapters for my windshield wiper blades and before even clocking in he had started helping me and got me the right parts I needed 5 stars will continue coming to this location because of his dedication and excellent above and beyond customer service. Eileen and Will are also a great help everytime I go in thanks advance in Ruskin!

My 2015 Chevy Silverado was running great, but there was no sound when I used the directionals and suddenly no sound with the radio or unbuckled seat belt warning sound. I YouTube the issue and found it was a warning sign for a bad battery. I went right to Advance Auto in Ruskin. They came out to make sure it wasn't the alternator first. They had my battery in stock AND offered to replace it at no additional charge. William brought it to my truck and in less then 20 minutes, I was back on the road. Excellent customer service. Fast, professional help and quality control check before I purchased the wrong part. Thank you Advanced Auto!

Ryan was amazing! Came to have battery checked/ replaced. He greeted me so courteous, and friendly. I was in and out in no time, he also educated me on batteries. I will definitely be back and send friends and family. Want great service with a smile? Ask for Ryan, he won't disappoint!!

Thank you so much Jon ! You are a life saver, Jon helped me change my cylinder out that was causing my engine to misfire. I am a single mom who needed help quickly so I can go pick up my son from school. Jon and his crew were so nice and helpful. Helped me and got me right out. I appreciate it so much! I will always come here to spend my money when I need something for my car. And I will recommend this location to everyone I know.
