On Friday I purchased a battery from the O'Reilly store in Lake Placid, FL. Erica efficiently installed the new battery. She made sure the connections were clean and it was securely in place. We've bought items from this store in the past and they've been great to deal with.
Alejandro went and above and beyond. Alejandro and Brenda both stayed an hour past closing time to make sure we got our car running and on the road. Here's the story. My son took his car to a another auto parts place. He had the battery tested there and was told that the battery was fine, it just need to be charged. Well my son's car then stalled out in the middle of 27, 2 different times (after dark, not fun) but we managed to get to O'Reilly's. The car was diagnosed and it came back with issues that would have to be resolved in the dealership. As we continued to struggle to get the car to stay on, we asked to leave the car in the parking lot overnight. Alejandro then tested the car again and suggested just trying a new battery. Low and behold it turned off all the lights on the dash and the car actually functioned properly. After spending an hour with us after closing time, we were on our way. We had fantastic customer service and I would highly recommend O'Reilly's in lake placid.
This review is for stores 5522 and 6549. When O’reillys says professional they mean it. Dominic at store 6549 and Adrian at store 5522 went well above and beyond to help me get an issue taken care of. They worked with me for over 30 minutes to make sure everything got squared away. It’s associates like these two exceptional men that I’ll only shop at O’reilly auto parts. Again gentleman, thank you so much. God bless.
Salesperson tested my truck, i needed a battery. He quickly and kindly installed the battery and I was on my way. A little more price wise, but no carrying or installing the battery on my part OR having to take the old battery back for the core.
This store has great people !!!! The whole team was great ! A young lady who in conversation mentioned she was from Kentucky. Was over the top knowledgeable & helpful
Guy at the register had an attitude. Came to pick up pre-ordered parts that were paid in full. He mistakenly only gave me one part as opposed to the two.
He was upset I corrected him, because the computer in front of him didn't show the part that was missing. Tried to show him the receipt and he gave me smart response as if it was my mistake for not showing the receipt in the first place.
He even tried to charge me twice for a coke I bought.
Needs to be trained for better customer service.

The people in oreilys in lake placid store sold me the wrong hose fitting ,the manager was no where to be found, they lost me as a cosumer,don't go there
I called because my battery was not holding charge, they said bring your car over, they installed it within minutes. I was in and out in no time. People are very friendly and helpful.
Just wanted to say thanks to the O'Reillys staff in lake placid fl because when it çomes to plumbing that is where i excell butwhenit comes to motors not so much. At least I watch my gauges and she is said motor cooling hot I knew right where to go and you got it. O'Reilly's in lake placid fl . Like most businesses in this area of Florida, everyone is extremely friendly and willing to help. Country still survives. I give it 20 years and it's going to be broward county. Glad I'll be planted by then.
Very helpful. An employee was walking into the store and saw that I had a battery in my trunk. Without hesitation, he grabbed my battery and carried it in for me. After I purchased a new battery, another employee carried the new battery out to my car. This was service above expectations. It sure saved my back.
Website sucks. Just as bad as Advanced's website. You are losing customers due to your terrible website and high prices. I can buy offline for 1/3 ,of the price. I can't check my item online so why should I purchase from you?
Erica the Manager in Lake Placid, Fl was so helpful and polite. I came in with a dead battery and she took care of everything so professionally. She got me back on the road and I can't say enough of how greatful I am. Thanks again, Erica!
Like the fact that 99% of the time the parts requested are always in stock. That's a plus! Employees seem to be attentive most of the time to customer service. Most of the time are very polite and respectful. Store could use a bit more cleaning, but overall pretty clean. Great job O'Reilly's
I have never been so disappointed going into a store and asking a basic question...and getting the most cocky,dont want to help answer (I felt like they know I didnt understand and they just thought it was a joke or something) ...went in and 2 men just didn't seem to want to be bothered and there was nobody in the store they just stood behind the counter :(
Looked all over the web for this charger...saw Oreilly’s might have one,called the local store and Kathy said they have one locally an would b in Lake Placid by noon!! We’ll they have a late day truck an I had my charger at 4 pm! Great job O’Reilly’s an kudos to Kathy for getting the ball rolling!!!Thispart was almost unavailable every where ,it was under my nose the whole time!

My boyfriend came home raving about how awesome his experience at O’Reilly’s was, he asked me to leave a review on his behalf. He walked in looking for a specific part that was not likely to be carried in a retail store, Joel immediately asked him if he could help, he was out of the store within 5 minutes, with his part, at a very reasonable price and with a great customer service experience. So thanks Joel for sending my boyfriend home in a great mood!
