So I am always hesitant to leave immediate reviews of work on my car. Today when my car wouldn't start due to likely battery issue I discovered a loose part under the hood. The car is with a trusted mechanic to determine 1. What is this part left behind unattached?
2. Has it done any damage to the vehicle.
I am thankful it was discovered before I ended up on the side of the road with my Little. Likely an honest mistake however a very dangerous one.
Caliber Collision did a great job getting my car taken care of and back on the road quickly and efficiently. I was hit straight on the passenger side while going through a round about, they worked directly with the insurance company to handle the details, and kept me informed throughout the process. Hector was great doing the walk through and touching base as my car progressed. The paint job is amazing, and the quality of work by the team shows no flaws.
The staff were very communicative during my repairs to keep me in the loop on some things (especially on delays due to parts or staffing shortages) but overall some areas in my repair weren’t addressed. Should I need repair work in the future I may find myself being a bit more hesitant with this location. I will say that the work that was completed was nice, but there were some minor problems with resetting a few items to their original placement even after surface repairs.

When I came for my initial appointment, I sat for about 20 minutes until I had to call them to be acknowledged. Granted, they said geico made the appointment and they don’t always know when that happens. But still…questionable.
Hector was nice and accommodating. He got me taken care of. He even advised me of a wheel bearing issue. I appreciate him for that.
I came in with needing my bumper fixed, pained, and my rim replaced. The paint was pretty decent, but my rim was the wrong color. That makes me question the due diligence of the technician. They had 3 other for reference, plus the one they took off. When I let Hector know, he rubbed a different rim, like it was dirty, but realized it’s grey and not silver. He said he’d order me another. An inconvenience for me that could’ve been avoided.
I believe they have to remove both bumpers for sensors and such. The technician put my bumper on so sloppily, I had to write this review. I can stick my finger in places they’re not suppose to be. Then they left a dirty paper mat half crumbled on the passenger seat floor as icing on the cake.
Despite the unfortunate outcome of our car being totaled, our experience with the company was made so much better thanks to Jose. From start to finish, he communicated clearly, kept us informed every step of the way, and handled everything with professionalism and care. Accidents are never easy, but having someone like Jose walk us through the process made a world of difference. We're grateful for his support and the way he represented the company during a tough situation.
Just went to this Caliber Collision to get an estimate on a minor damage, front bumper of my Murano was tap in parking lot. The sides had pop out of their clips, Hector came out and in 15 minutes popped them all end, good as new. Greatly appreciate this kind of service, I will be back. Great experience at Caliber Collison over St. Augustine Rd. Hector was very professional. My car was done before the time estimated. I will highly recommend this location and their team.
Fortunately I’ve only needed a repair shop 3 times in past 19 years. All three times it was a different caliber collision, Miami, Sarasota and Jax. This was the best experience yet because of my new friend Hector. I had gone into a local pharmacy for 20 minutes and found my driver side damaged by a hit and run without a note. I knew that my favorite car was in the right place and taken care of by someone who’s basically one of my buddies now. Give that man a raise, because I hope I never need CC services again, but if I do, I’m going to be asking for Hector to manage my vehicle.
UPDATE: Car was returned to me for the 4th time today after the regional manager got involved. Once again, it was returned damaged. This time a lazy employee decided it was not necessary to reconnect the wiring harness to the driver’s side headlight or check that all parts related to the front bumper were operational. So I did their job for them and connected the harness except the light still didn’t work. Pulled the bulb and found it was not broken or burnt, so now we have an electrical problem. The next morning they sent out two techs from another company to fix the problem. It turns out that they failed to reconnect THREE different electrical wires, shorting the system. CALIBER COLLISSION on St. Augustine Rd. is UTTERLY IMCOMPETENT! There is absolutely no one at this shop who knows how to take responsibility for quality control. How else do you explain the inability to secure parts in the bumper assembly so that they don’t fall off within weeks of being “fixed”? First it was one of the driving lights and then it was the entire front bumper that came loose. The car has been back to 4 times and every time the manager, Mike, has excuses, including suggesting that I was in another accident, that parts don’t always align, that paint won’t adhere on curved surfaces, and that another body shop was responsible! Absolutely HORRIBLE management and quality control. AVOID THIS SHOP AT ALL COSTS!

I brought my car to caliber collision after a car accident and needed quite a bit of body work done. This location ( st Augustine road ) was an option on the list from my insurance company . I am very happy with the work they did. Everything looks great ! Everyone I dealt with was so nice and knowledgeable about any question I had .
I really liked that I received a text message update at least once, maybe twice a week keeping me updated on the status and how it was coming along. . The original day that I was told it would be done was exactly when it was done . I didn’t think it’s would be because of all the work it needed, but it was!
I would definitely bring any of my vehicles here and will also recommend it to anyone. I can’t speak for any of the other locations because there are a few, but as far as the St. Augustine Road location, I highly recommend!
Exceptional work! My car looks brand new. Autumn was very professional and awesome to work with during the whole process. We were informed on everything that was happening and on the work being done.
I got my 2019 Kia soul “fixed” after a major $10k accident at their location April-June of 2021 and to this day I still find parts that were not installed properly, taken out, or unfixed. I found a missing clip under the hood, missing bolts for my radiator, clip in panel in the trunk is missing that wasn’t before, and my wiring harness connecting the alternator is frayed. All from the accident that was only front end damage. Yes they did fix my car, but some the parts haven’t lasted nearly as long as the original ones. Now I have to replace them myself after only a year & 1/2. If you do business here make sure you do a thorough examination of your vehicle before you leave, and request only new parts to be used.
