I ended up with a flat tire on I95 in downtown Jacksonville coming from a medical appointment. I was able to make it to this Goodyear Service location after mounting the temp spare tire. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The customer-facing staff member reviewed options and recommended the appropriate tire. He fit me into the schedule for a walk-in, and had the new tire on the vehicle within an hour. This Goodyear team made it a pleasing experience, given it was a stressful day.
This location puts the negative stigma behind the big auto shops to rest. Had multiple issues come up with my car within the course of 30 days and this crew was very flexible and accommodating to me. Trey, one of the technicians was able to set me up with what I need at a reasonable price (Which I compared across the market) with fast service. Best part is this location is on your way to and from work! Highly recommend.
The worst Goodyear I have ever experienced Goodyear on clay st downtown Jacksonville.. the staff is impatient and rude.. I almost lost my composure in their establishment…so I took my vehicle and left…
EVERY SINGLE TIME I go to this location, something just as problematic or worse happens within days of leaving them. And it's always something that they never mentioned at all. I thought it was all in my head but this is the third time in a row that I chose them and this happened. I went there a few days ago. They did an hours-long inspection and they named two things that were wrong, but nothing that would leave me stranded. And then my car cuts off today. And it is clearly my alternator. My car was driving fine before visiting them & what they diagnosed would not have affected that. I confirmed that before leaving. I will never set foot in any of their locations again.
I went there to get a new tire I was there for like an hour and a half and they look over everything when I did not ask them to do all of that I was just there for a new tire on my lunch break. I was not happy what the service. After they put the tire on they didn't even try to put air in. My tire air pressure was reading low for that tire I think that's a shame you pay almost $200 for a tire and they don't even want to put air in it

I have replaced all my tires here! They’re able are quick and able to get tires in stock quickly. The staff and managers are always super helpful and get me in and out quickly!
Not only did they want to charge way more than everyone else to change my tire for a new one but the lost the key to remove my special lug nuts!!!!

I needed a new set of tires and was very pleased with the service I received. They were quick to install my new tires and the store manager Tony was exceptional! , He was very polite, kept me informed on the process, and got me back out on the road in a timely manner. I will definitely be back when I need auto service!
I had tires delivered there, called for assistance because I had to cancel the order and was told by “Trey” that the online orders has nothing to do with them and he can’t help me. I then tried calling back several times and Trey kept picking up and hanging up, he finally answered I asked if I could speak with a Manager and he replied I am the Manager then hung up again.I then tried to get assistance from corporate who said that she would send a complaint but there is nothing more she could do. Service sucks, I understand this is just a tire shop but I am a paying customer and deserved better customer service. I would rate them a NEGATIVE 10
BAD**Year is honesty or professionalism a dying art? Unless you have an older vehicle or simply need your wipers replaced, I would not trust your vehicle here. After two return visits because these below average mechanics are my ‘neighborhood’ shop (my fault, I know), they replaced our perfectly-fine battery, then the alternator, for NO REASON except they couldn’t figure out the accurate issue. After the car still wasn’t functioning, I towed it to the dealership out of desperation only to find out Goodyear is not qualified, nor do they have technology beyond what an Advanced Auto Parts offers for free. They charged me $1000 for two unnecessary replacements and then I STILL needed to pay an additional $2k for the real problem - an auxiliary battery and battery generator module. Again, they don’t have the diagnostic tech needed for vehicles made after 2015. Will never return and hope others learn from my naive mistake.
I had a great experience at Goodyear! The service was not only quick but also super pleasant, which was a huge help while I was out running Christmas errands. The staff was friendly and efficient, making it easy to get back on the road in no time. Highly recommend for anyone needing fast and reliable service!
Beware! They told me they couldn't repair my tire due to it being outside the repairable area and tried to sell me a new tire. This was clearly false as the puncture was clearly within the area. I played dumb and went to another tire shop instead of arguing. Would you want someone who lied to your face to work on your vehicle? I will report this tire shop to Goodyear corporate in addition to this review. Merry Christmas all!
my car started to have white smoke under the hood, so I pulled into Goodyear since it was right where I was. When I pulled in, one of the employees outside saw and came up to take a look. Luckily, they were able to help. It only took an hour and a half to fix, even though it was a surprise fix. They are so helpful. Thank you!
This location is amazing! Both Alex & Larry are very knowledgeable about the service they offered. A super clean shop, we were in and out in no time. Service was just incredibly amazing! Thank you so very much!

My day started off terrible!!! I had a flat and the first place I saw was Goodyear! Larry came out to greet me. I just started a new job low on money but desperate for help. Larry heard my concern and he and his crew delivered!! New tire and alignment within an hour!! Top tier customer service and service period. I recommend and glad to return in the future. While they may do okay for tires, this place will rip you off with no hesitation for maintenance. I came here in regards to my AC not working and explained I believed it to be the compressor. Their service manager insisted it was just in need of a Freon charge. I explained it seemed to be the compressor as the AC would work some then not, then work again. He said he was 100%, charged it with Freon then called to explain it didn’t work. Charged me almost $500 for this “highly laborious” job and then said I can come back for a new compressor for almost 2k. I cut my damages and took my car to a real mechanic. Unfortunately I won’t be buying tires here anymore either as they mislead you and will not own when they are unsure or make a mistake.
Had a nail stuck in my tire walked into Goodyear without an appointment and the guys up front were excellent took care of my problem right away very professional and courteous. Service was done quick in and out in less than 15 minutes. Definitely coming back here for future service.
Came in with an unknown light issue with my car. They were quick and efficient with finding the problem and didn't even charge for the service because it was such a simple fix! (A loose bulb) Visit took all of 10 minutes. Definitely will be coming back!
Went in last month with a very rare tire size that luckily they had available. I felt bad about bringing my car in an hour before they closed to get 4 new tires. It did bother them a bit and they were able to get them all mounted and balanced with time to clean their shop and clock out on time. Great guys and an amazing knowledge of automotive repair. I trust them with my 30 year old every day driver Camry Wagon! Thanks again!

I work in Downtown Jacksonville and discovered I had a nail in my tire. I actually forgot about this Goodyear downtown. I am so glad my GPS sent me here. They fixed it even though it was late in the day. Everyone was helpful and they communicated what was happening as part of my service. The lobby is being remodeled but no issues with service. I would recommend them to anyone.
Jason, Michael, and Matthew did such a great job getting my car all tuned up. They talked me through some options and were clear about price and time frame. It was overall a great experience for something I'm usually not too excited to take care of! They were even finished earlier than expected. Great work and customer service!
I decided to take my car here because I had some great experiences with them fixing my car years ago. Wow, the years have changed. I'm assuming a change of mechanics? I took my car here 6 months ago and it's never the same. I went to get shocks done and spent close to 1500. I could have done it myself using YouTube. I had to take my car back for them to fix it. Again still not the same.
Positive note: The staff was nice, free wifi, coffee and the place was clean and my wait time was a few hours. I arrived there when they first opened. Plenty of room to sit and wait.
However it's best to be honest with the consumers. I could have given them 3 stars, but I decided not to. You have to make the best decision to go here, it's your choice.
I was ready to receive a rude customer service, as I had experience in many places around Jacksonville. The gentlemen there were not only ready to help me, but care about my tires' situation. They willingly checked all my tires without tricky manuevers. They fixed the pressure situation kindly and effectively. No charge. The manager also expressed his concerns about the area where the shop is located, because the homeless demographics around. It will be a shame for them to close this place because lack of customers. I will recommend people to this place without hesitations. What is the big fear people have of others less fortunate? I went on a Saturday morning and I could say the area was kind of desolate, but I felt secure on the shop. Thank guys.
