The joke goes, "What two jobs are the most despised until you need them? Lawyers & tow truck drivers." :) My truck bit the dust and I was definitely in need of a tow. The dealership (warranty issue) hooked me up with DeeWay and they did not disappoint. The dispatcher gave me a quote on the phone, and that's exactly what the final bill was. Wesley showed up in less than an hour (impressive, esp for a Friday morning) and got me & my truck to the dealership pronto - and didn't even charge hostage rates! Got 'em on speed dial for my next tow. (It's a Dodge - there will be a next tow.)
They were prompt. They showed up when they said they would. They even helped me get the car jumped off before towing it back to the dealer. It was voluntary, but some pride was linked to that car..
Dee-Way Towing made it easy for me to get rid of the car and set myself free from dissatisfaction of lenders and my poor decision.

Tow truck operator Called to confirm his eta. He advised it would be 30-45 mins. 2 hours later I called to follow up he said some random guy told him nevermind in my community. He never confirmed make model of vehicle name or address. Then he comes back when the tire shop is closing saying do you want it towed or not! No accountability. Terrible service/company
Great towing company! It had been a while since I needed a vehicle towed. I called and got several quotes and Dee-Way was the most reasonable. Tim was prompt and polite. He was also very professional and careful with our vehicle. Locally owned and operated. They are saved on my phone now but I hope I don’t need them anytime soon.
These guys came out and picked up my 8x10 shed. After a dozen folks told me no cuz It had no skid under it. But they picked it up without damaging it, and took it to my new location. And didn't charge me an arm , a leg, and my first born. Thank you. I am so happy.

Y'all were life savers on April 11, 2024. I needed to have my dad's car towed back to the dealership because he is fighting leukemia and is unable to afford the car anymore. I thank you all and Timothy for your fast and courteous service.
My Driver was Darren. Picked up my son's Chevy Silverado with a busted cv axle. Darren was very knowledgeable as to how to load the vehicle without further breaking the CV axle which was not fully broken but badly bent. Also was courteous of the property in which he picked the truck up from and was conscientious as to not damaging the parking lot or curbs in the lot. Darren was very patient, kind and informative. Ive used many companies in the past and have never been treated with the respect and kindness that I was treated with today. Will continue to use DeeWay and will always highly recommend. Dispatch was also great to work with

Can't thank Darren at Dee-Way enough! My daughter and friend were stranded near the Buckman on 295 in the dark on new years night. They called numerous towing service companies who tried to take advantage of them, wouldn't be straight on timing and charged ridiculous prices. Dee-way was professional, responsive and reasonable! Darren went out of his way to make them feel comfortable and even helped diagnose the issue, even though it was not his job. I guarantee the next time i have an issue, my first call will be to Dee-Way.

My man "Darren" is one hell of a driver and operator.... im sorry Dee Way towing but if i ever start up a towing company im stealing "Darren" lol but yes im one happy customer i hope i won't need you guys again but if I need a tow Dee Way is who im calling...excellence service!
Big shout out to Henry for saving me today. A Super Human Gentleman! He came and loaded my car onto the truck then stayed with me until the uber came to pick me up. It was only 6 minutes but super super nice of him not to leave me sitting in a parking lot with the load of laundry that I was taking too the laundry mat!..
Also, he put the laundry basket into the uber for me!

Great company. The lady of the office was super nice and work to get my tow time as quick as possible...well under the estimated time. The driver was very professional and kind. Even tried to jump start the van before towing. Very reasonable pricing and great service. If ever I need a towed vehicle again....Dee-Way will be my FIRST CALL. Thank you guys!!!!!

I was having a rough day before my car broke down on the highway and needed a tow. After the breakdown, and my original quote from another towing company, I was really going through it. The dispatcher on Dee Way who quoted me, was kind and patient and gave me a very fair price to go from north Jax to my mechanic in St. Augustine. The tow truck driver, Greg(?) and his trainee, got there quickly and made me feel very safe and comfortable. Prior to being picked up, I had secretly hoped I’d be riding with someone who didn’t talk much, however, I’m glad that wasn’t the case after all. These two, especially Greg(?), explained the process of the tow, the towing business, and made pleasant conversation about other things that really lifted my spirits during the almost hour drive we had together. It’s not often you get such honest, friendly, and reliable service anymore. I’m grateful for these two individuals and this company! Highly recommend.
Towing desk lady Ms Everett, was rude and unresponsive to questions. Treated me as if I were demanding. I had several questions since the people who had my van towed did so wrongfully. She was beligerant and threatened me several times accusing me of interrupting when in fact that's all she did. I am hard of hearing and informed her I needed to ask again when I don't hear clearly. She was insensitive and just kept yelling. She refused to send me any details of the tow and storage, especially policy and legal. She claimed they sent a certified notice as required by the 3rd day. Later admitted it wasn't sent until the 12th day. I never received it. I have had great experiences with many tow companies. This was not one. This will prompt me to look at legal options for actions on behalf of the company who illegally had it towed as well as Deeway. Background check reveals serious criminal activity by Doug Dixon owner of record. Stay away from this company.
I recently had to use Dee-way towing after attending a funeral last week and it was a great experience. I needed my car winched out of my grandmothers yard and put on my Uhaul trailer to get back to Atlanta.The car did not run and had been sitting for 3 years in sand.I wasn’t sure if this was even possible. The driver was professional, made my sign a waiver which I understood for liability reasons and winched out the car and literally put the car on my uhaul off his truck perfectly.The price was great ,the driver was on time and went over and beyond to make sure I even had the car strapped down on the uhaul correct before leaving. He was awesome everyone I know will hear about this experience.
Jan 27th: They are committed to helping the people in need. Dedicated to their work. Very professional customer service. Well known by the locals as well. It was a long wait but still able to work that day!
I've used them twice. I had different drivers both times but they both had the same great attitudes and they were very professional. Sorry I dont remember their names but Dee-Way got it right with those 2 guys. Will be a repeat customer if I ever need a tow service again
Dee - Way Towing. I Highly recommend this Towing Company. I was in need of a Tow for my Nephews Vehicle on Cassette Ave .This Company went across town and back for very very reasonable price . Tim the Driver was very Polite and Professional. Dispatch was also very easy to work with setting up a time. I even changed the time as I was going to b 30 minutes ahead of scheduled time and they showed up 30 minutes early on time.
Dee Way did a great job for us, and the price they charged was very fair. Gerald responded in the middle of the night very quickly, and was very professional. He was very careful with our car not to damage anything, and was a very nice guy. If you need a tow, call them, and ask for Gerald. He will take good care of you.
Update to my original review: Avis dropped the ball on recovering the vehicle for over a week. During this time, the ladies at Dee-Way, specifically Ashley and Lena were very helpful and polite. They made sure to keep me in the loop since Avis and their recovery team failed to communicate any information. I'm leaving it at 3 stars because I'm still frustrated with Dee-Way's stringent documentation required to retrieve my belongings. The ordeal would have been much less stressful had they let me pick up my possessions on the first day with my rental agreement and license and keys in hand. The first lady I spoke with was also very rude, but like I said all other employees have been pleasant and helpful.
Our rental car was mistakenly towed from our parking spot this morning, and Dee-Way towing has been absolutely unhelpful and rude through the entire process. They won't let us retrieve the car or even any of our belongings from it without ridiculous documentation despite numerous Avis employees calling them with the details of the rental agreement. The older lady working the front desk is obnoxious and rude. So now because of them we are incurring ridiculous fees from the rental car company and are losing all of our personal belongings that were in the car. Avoid these crooks at all costs.
My daughter car was towed and stored after being towed away with a blow out. The owner helped her above and beyond what anyone would do by getting a replaced tire. I will most defiantly use your company for all my towing matters, and recommend you. God bless you and thanks again
This was the best customer service experience that I've had involving a towing company. One of our employees broke down and was very upset because she thought that she would be stranded for a long time on a busy highway. I called Dee-Way Towing and the driver got there quickly, and reassured her that everything would be fine. I recommend Dee-Way Towing for their courtesy and professionalism.
