So unfortunately my property was stolen from this location inside my friend’s car Saturday night (09/27/25) / Sunday morning (09/28/25) when jso had the car towed. My friend & I left all of our belongings (purse with over $400 in it, keys & phones, and Nike shoes (pair of high top ones)) inside the vehicle. The only thing we received back was phones & my friends wallet. I’m still missing my entire Gucci purse with my money, ID, & my debit cards inside. I’ve seen other reviews about this being an issue with this company. The car was picked up TODAY Tuesday 09/30/25 with only phones inside. This is ridiculous & I'm filing a civil suit & going to the better business bureau about it. Unless my property is found as soon as possible. This is insane to steal someone’s property as if you’re entitled to do so (knowing yall went thru my purse for my keys) when your company was called to TOW the car ONLY! Not take property that was inside the vehicle. Terrible company.
The young lady on the phone was very pleasant and extremely helpful. When we arrived to release my car and clean it out after the MVA. Well I was in pain and moving very slow. The older lady at the window could be a bit more pleasant. Hopefully she isn’t like that all the time and was just having an off day.
Very rude plus the dealership used them to get my jeep he jumped it off wrong and blow my push start fuse and now husband was in bad wreck and there demeanor are all just rude and ugly .. I know 2nd time won't be a 3rd
Unacceptable Service - My Vehicle Was Damaged
I had my vehicle towed by this company, and as soon as I got it back, brake fluid started leaking out immediately. My brake pedal was to the floor. My car was not leaking prior to being towed - I've owned it for five years with consistent maintenance. Now, I'm left with damaged brakes and an unexpected repair bill, all because of lack of care during the tow process.
I've already sent an email with photos, receipts, and documentation. I expect to be contacted and this issue to be made right - because this is not how professional services should handle customers' vehicles.
If you're thinking of using this company, think twice - and if you're reading this from the company: do better. I am not letting this go.

This is hands-down the most unprofessional, disrespectful, and shady company I’ve ever dealt with. My car was recently totaled and unfortunately ended up in their possession—not by choice. Had I been given even a sliver of a say, I would have never used them.
The nightmare started when I tried to call the office. I was met with pure rudeness and hostility. The so-called “manager” Karen is the definition of unqualified. She provided zero help, hung up on me multiple times, and acted like my questions were a burden. No explanations, no courtesy, no accountability—just attitude and arrogance.
I didn’t even find out where my car was until I got a lien letter. That’s how they operate—keep you in the dark, hit you with outrageous fees, then pass the blame. When questioned, they even blamed JSO for their inflated rates instead of owning their role. It’s beyond unprofessional—it’s predatory.
This company is a walking red flag. If your car ends up here, prepare to fight tooth and nail just to get basic info, and expect to be treated like an inconvenience the entire time.
They don’t care. They don’t help. They just want your money.
If I could give negative stars, I would. Avoid at all costs.

Driving like a fool today on I-10. Truck 1101E was doing much over speed limit cutting in and out of traffic. Won't be trusting them to tow my vehicle.
Thankful that they were able to come and tow my son's car after a wreck.However We went to go get some stuff out of the car and asked how much it would be to get it paid for and taken out and we were told three hundred dollars, then Told that If. We leave it in until tomorrow.The price goes up to 5 hundred. Call back again to let them know that we were selling the car and they were coming to get.It was told that the price went up to 6 hundred because they mailed out some letters. Honestly, I think they knew that we were gonna do that. So they pulled us up and mailed those letters so that they could Jack the price up to $600. We'll never use this company again what a rip-off. Smh... taking honest people in a time of trouble and ripping then off.. Hope you sleep well at night
Great service, who wants to be stuck on the side if the road, nobody but once I Jimmie came thru it was a seamless pickup, and I still made it to work on Time.
Jimmy's Towing is a disreputable business ESPECIALLY where minorities are concerned! After my Brother had an accident and was taken to the hospital JSO called Jimmy's to tow my motorcycle from the scene. My Nephew contacted this establishment and was told that he could not claim the bike or my belongings and that I had to travel all the way to Jax from Miami. I then contracted Jimmy's and was informed that the bike had been sold for scrap at which time I was not informed of ANY pending liens. I informed them that all that I was concerned about was my license plate at which time I was told that they didn't have it. Now 2 months later I find out that I have a $412 lien on my registration! Section 713.78(13)(b) of the FLORIDA STATUTES states that the amount of the Wrecker operator's lien for which the DMV will prevent issuance of a license plate or re-validation sticker MAY NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT OF THE CHARGES FOR RECOVERY, TOWING, AND STORAGE OF THE VEHICLE OR VESSEL FOR 7 DAYS! With that being the case why am I being told that I owed them WAY MORE THAN $412, and that in fact my total fees were ALMOST $1500! And that they were quote unquote giving me a break! When I asked the RUDE woman could I get a BREAKDOWN of my fees she proceeded to give me standard RACIST trope "why don't YOU PEOPLE just pay your bills". She then told me that I was LUCKY that they didn't come after my Black behind in civil court and promptly hung up on me mid sentence! Since when do I have to pay a bill that I can't see in WRITING? This is a clear cut case of PREDATORY TOWING! I am filing complaints with the FHP, DMV, FDHSMV, and the State Attorney general's office. For Racist practices!
LOVED their service! Had an accident and Julius and Dan were so helpful in coming through in such a time crunch! Dan was even headed home and still helped, 10/10 hope to not need a tow again but if so I would def call them!
Everyone is very professional and friendly. When I went to get my belongings out of the car the staff was helpful and patient. If you have a choice for towing in Jacksonville call Jimmie's
Driver just cracked my windshield due to his negligence. His flat bed was covered In gravel on 295!!!! Owner says I'll call him and when I asked about MY windshield was informed it's a no fault state. CROOKS
Absolutely incredible customer service from the woman on the phone to Terry driving the truck. (Who is now officially part of the family) Thank you for making our day a little brighter in an otherwise quite crummy situation. I know you will be our first call for all of our future towing needs.
Let me start by saying i just got my car towed home, i cant recall the guy name but he was tall, black heavy set and coool as hell very professional, and did his job from A to Z perfectly!!! He took his time with my car from the moment he arrived til he dropped us off home!!! I just want him to be recognized for an outstanding job! Thank u again.
If I could give it zero I would! Sheriff's office called them to tow my car, after an accident, while I was at the hospital. When we called they informed me that my license plate was "missing" and couldn't drive the car off their lot and had to pay them an extra $60 for them to pull it off their lot. The woman on the phone shouted down my wife when she asked about the missing plate. I filled a police report. Even the officer I spoke to reffed to them as vulture's.
I used their services and was pleasantly surprised by not only their service level but their arrival and hookup time as well. A bad night could've easily got worse and luckily for me they populated on my frustrated google search. Would absolutely recommend them. Thanks again Aron!
After a car accident, my daughter was taken to the hospital and the police called Jimmie's Towing to move her disabled car to their facility. I went there April 7th and paid $599.99 cash (they only accept cash) for towing/storage/re-towing to our house. Before leaving, the office girl unlocked the car so we could remove personal items. The car was delivered to our house later that day. The car keys were NOT left in the car. I called and was told by the driver that they never had the car keys. Impossible-they had unlocked the car for us at the lot! They have continued to insist that they never had the keys. On May 12th we went back to Jimmie's Towing and asked them to do the right thing and pay for the replacement key. They then changed their story and said that they did have the keys and they were left in the car. Not true. I am getting the run around! They refuse to take responsibility for losing the key. A new key plus the programming by an automotive locksmith costs $350.00 + sales tax.
On our way home from an RV trip, my hubs and I blew a front tire on the car we flat-tow behind the RV. We had barely an hour to get the car towed to a tire store before closing and our AAA couldn’t serve us that quickly. Jimmie’s saved the day-got us there on time and we made it on time to the next stop on our way home! A+
Very Expensive if they impound your car. No waiting room. Waiting outside in a rocking chair in the cold is ludicrous. The gentleman who towed my car in was polite. However, he caused over $3000 in damages to the entire front end wheel assembly. It was a nightmare. If you can get any other Towing service do so. They are running a racket.
I tried to use this company. Waited 3 hours for the truck. Never got a call. Had to call and ask for a manager just to get told it is going to be over another hour and this cussed out and hung up on. Won't tell us who we are talking to or anything. I would not trust people like that with your stuff or even to be part of your life. They were so disrespectful it has ruined my and my wife's day. As well as made me late for work. And my truck is still sitting because I wasted my whole day waiting for them
Stranded in the highway for 3 hours called every tow truck company and all I got was the run around, I just wanted to say thank you for coming to our rescue! The lady on the phone was very nice, thanks again ma’am! The tow truck driver was very nice man took us to the nearby shop to get a new tire, I would recommend this towing truck company
I highly recommend Steve and his team at Jimmie’s for all your towing needs! We have used them numerous times over the years. They have picked my Aunt up in under an hour after she waited over 3 hours for her roadside service, saved my cousin off the side of the road after her car broke down and delivered my shipping container today. Always outstanding service!
My son was rear ended by a truck while sitting at the red light headed to work in Jacksonville. A truck came out of nowhere injuring my son totaling his vehicle. His truck was picked up from the accident scene by Jimmies Wrecker Service. Working with them has been a breeze and a very clear and professional experience. The guy that assisted us was very professional and helpful as we worked to retrieve my sons personal items from his totaled vehicle. I'm gonna tell you right now that this company has a group of stand up guys.
They were dispatched to provide a tow through my roadside assistance company. Agero, the service company hired by Progressive to manage roadside assistance dispatched them but did not provide payment. This company waited on standby at my location, most certainly declining other calls, for several hours while waiting for Agero to get their act together. I've never had roadside assistance from a tow company who arrived so promptly, nor demonstrated such care, compassion and patience.
Their equipment was incredibly clean and well maintained and the driver was a complete gentleman.
I highly recommend them for your towing needs, and if the way they treated me is any indication, I would not hesitate to return to them for towing and whatever other service they offer. Check out my other reviews, as I don't hand out 5 star reviews to everyone!
Was coming through Jacksonville from Savannah GA towing a 19ft boat and trailer. Studs sheared off the trailer tire and could not be repaired. Kyle made it out in record time and loaded the boat on his trailer and told me of a good hotel to stay and took it to their yard for the night. Jimmy himself unloaded the boat at the repair shop with a fork lift and closed out my bill and made sure I was taken care of by the repair shop. Fantastic crew and outstanding customer service. Would definitely recommend them for any of your needs. Truly 5 star service and no price gouging at all.
