  I was leaving from raiford FL, and when i made it to macclenny fl, my 2016 ford f150 4x4 coolant hose broke and I was stranded for 4 hours, another company pretty much left me stranded and didn't care that I was stranded away from home, BUT the man Dave, I can't remember if that's his name, went out of his way to drive 30 minutes to me and 30 minutes back to my house, what a great guy, he was friendly and a very chil guy, I even offered a tip and he said it wasn't necessary, also they have a great dispatcher, even gave me a call to let me know how far away the driver was, I do recommend them if its midnight or up to the morning hours. This is my first time ever being towed and this was a good company for the first.

  I hired them to take off the mast of a forklift, the lady told me that if it takes more than 3 hours they would charge an extra fee. I was ok with that, she told me that they would take 1 hour to arrive on the location. 50 minutes later they arrived, I was out to buy a wrench to take out 2 bolts. After 10 minutes (!) they called saying that the equipment was not ready that they would need to leave. I argued that we agreed that I hired them for 3 hours and that I was 6 minutes away, that they should wait as the 3 hours had not expired yet. They just left. And charged my credit card! Unbelievable. 10 minutes! They were supposed to lift the mast to take out the bolts, only that , how were they expecting that it would be ready if they were hired exactly to do that!?!?!?

  Saturday late afternoon I found myself on the side of the road with a completely shredded tire. Being I have after market 24s on a tesla, finding a tire that fit and shop available on short notice was not in the cards. From the moment Michael showed up to tow my car he went above and beyond didn't stop even after dropping off my car. He made a rough situation much easier. TY SW&R . It's people like Michael who make this world a little bit easier.

  Needed to tow my car off the side of the highway & the tow truck driver was there in about an hour (was around 6pm on a Saturday). Both the driver & dispatcher were super friendly & communicated well. Made the process easy. Definitely recommend

  The rep told me the charges would amount to $590. I agreed to that. After the wrecker pulled the vehicle out of the mud, the tow driver showed a bill of $620 - fine. The rep called from the office afterward stating it would be $1100 and charge our account without approval. Very poor service and unprofessional. Do not use these scammers.

  I have used Southern W&R for a few years now, and they have always been professional, thorough, and easy to work with. From dispatch to billing they are simply the best. One true test of a company's dedication is their response to a "situation", and yes, it did happen once. Their recovery to a problem was top notch, and proved to me their dedication to their customers.

  I rented a bob cat from Home Depot to cut a path around my property and hit a mud hole and became track deep in mud. Contacted Southern Wrecker at 0400 (thanks to the person that responded) realizing this was more than the neighbors or I could handle. I had to wait on HD to open to confirm if I needed to go through them and was told no, on me. So Thomas came right out and summed up my situation and made the call on what was needed. What seemed like a big deal to me was another day at the office for him and reassured they could get it right out. Patrick and Brian soon arrived after assembling Thomas' request. They got right to work and did it by the numbers. After some adjustments to the angle of recovery I was out. Thomas, Patrick, and Brian did a great job and impressed the hell out of me. If you're stuck, call Southern Wrecker, they're ACE cards for sure.

  I was towed today by Mike at Southern Wrecker and Recovery he was very professional and friendly right from the start. I was broke down in the middle of a 4 lane on 301, I put out traffic cones that Mike had on his truck to detour traffic away from both sides of us as traffic was constant and safety is always a first priority. Towing a loaded car carrier is always a challenge but Mike nailed it and got me back to our yard in Jacksonville in no time. Thank you Mike, be safe. Phil Proficient Auto Transport

  Southern Wrecker is the most disgraceful, dishonest establishment that ive ever run across. My husband truck was towed, and while on their property was broken into either by staff or employees, all of his electronics was stolen. After informing my husband that his legally insure vehicle was illegally towed, and if he bring in receipts he will be reimbursed, because my husband brought the car already equipped he could not produce all receipts but did produce estimates,. Mr. Vito then informed my husband that, those was not good enough for the insurance company and they will not be able to reimburse him. So for that they will get no stars if i could. That is not how hard working people should be treated

  Geico called southern wrecker and recovery to come and pick up my disabled jeep while my husband was out of town from our home. They were suppose to be at our home at 12:00 and at 11:45 I received a call from their office notifying me they were running a few minutes behind ( I thought this was amazing customer service and made me feel like my time was important to them) shortly after Matt arrived to pick up my jeep. He got out of his truck shook my hand and apologized for running behind. He explained to me everything he was going to do, loaded my jeep and started to head out. After the morning I've had it was nice to see a friendly face and for him to have such great customer service. We will never use another company for tow services.......southern wrecker and recovery definitely earned our business today. Thank you Matt for somewhat neutralizing the situation and being friendly and to Amy at the office for such amazing customer service. It means a lot to your customers.

  I was waiting on a towing truck and this guy Mike came in no time. I was told it'll be 30 to 60 minutes for them to come, but Mike came so fast. He was great, probably the best towing person I have came across, he ask me did I want a water and he also tried to see if he could fix my car(WoW). I don't usually write reviews but he was so amazing I had to take the time out to write this. Thanks so much Mike, I appreciate everything you did for me!!

  Hallelujah!! Mike and Tammy save the day! After dealing with dispatch call after dispatch call from the poor customer service at Sam's Club road side assistance, 5 hours later of sitting in hazardous roadside conditions, I finally get a glimpse of hope! 2 minutes after being on the phone with roadside assistance, screaming and yelling at them, I received a call from Tammy saying Southern was on their way! Within 3 minutes Mike called and said he was in his way with the truck!! Best news of the day!!!! For future reference, cut to the chase and just call Southern for your needs! Much appreciation for Tammy and Mike for your kindness, speedy response and excellent customer service. Ten stars!!! Jessica with the Scooby Bus

  My car died last Friday. Called insurance and was told the waiting time was 120 min. I asked them to look for another towing company that could "rescue" me in a shorter period of time. They contacted Southern Wrecker and the expected time was 60 min. In reality, the towing truck with Mike showed up within 30 min or less. That alone was a good sign. Mike suggested to jump start first and then take it from there. The car started but I was afraid to drive it, in case it happened again. I asked Mike if he could possibly tow it to my house. It was no problem. My husband showed up shortly, explained the directions and asked Mike to please wait for us at the property since we wanted him to leave the car at a certain spot. Mike didn't mind doing it at all. Everything went smooth and I am very pleased with the service. Thank you Mike and Southern Wrecker!

  My wife's car ended up needing a tow about 2 weeks ago. It was a rainy night during rush hour and Southern Wrecker was able to get Mike out within 30 minutes of my wife calling. Prior to his arrival, Mike called and said he was on his way. Mike was extremely professional and worked hard to get the car up and loaded as quickly and safely as possible. Our experience was so great that when we had to get her car towed to the repair shop today my wife called and specifically requested Mike to come tow her car. The dispatcher was very kind and helpful, she allowed us to schedule a time after work for Mike to come. Then about an hour before we requested Mike to arrive, we received a call from someone at Southern Wrecker to confirm our tow time and that Mike would be our driver. True to form Mike called when he was on his way and was at our house within 30 minutes. I would recommend Southern Wrecker and Mike to anyone who asks.

  Mike came to pick up my truck got there within a half hour when I was given an hour eta. Mike also was able to load my truck with no issues he knew how to work his equipment and was kind and helpful with me getting my truck back to my house.   When feeling like an idiot for locking my keys in my car for the 2nd time in a month....what you want is speed and efficiency....which is exactly what I got from your driver Mike.   Today, I ended up getting stuck in a ditch. I contacted Southern Wrecker & Recovery. I worked with Tammy (dispatcher) and Mike (tow truck operator). Both were very professional and a pleasure to work with. Mike did a wonderful job in utilizing his experience & judgment to remove my car from the concrete barrier with no damage. Outstanding & timely service!!!! If anyone needs a towing service, then Southern Wrecker & Recovery is the company to contact.

  I was run off the road at 295 and 95n by a tour bus moving into my lane. I contacted my insurance company ND within 3 minutes from hanging up with them I was contacted by the dispatcher and then the tow driver . My insurance company estimated wait wait would be 60 minutes but within. 45 mi no Mike was at my side. He towed me off the highway to the well lighted Walmart Parking lot and within 5 minutes my tire was changed and I was on my way.

  On Saturday the 24th of December, our truck died on our way to Disney World while hauling our 5th wheel camper. Stranded along I-95 near St. Augustine, I contacted Good Sam who then dispatched a wrecker that could only haul my truck leaving our 5er alongside the highway. I sent them "packing" and went about my own way to find another company (Good Sam was worthless IMO). Fortunately I found Southern Wrecker. Spoke with Heather at Southern Wrecker and my stress began to magically disappear. She was efficient and worked on getting a heavy hauler sent that could handle my entire rig. To boot, she even sent another truck to pick up my wife, child and dog since the heavy hauler would not have room in the cab. If that wasn't enough, she then arranged to have my camper hauled another 2 hours to Disney World so that we could enjoy our week while our truck was being repaired. I want to give a shout out the Heather for getting us back on the road and to our destination. She continued to follow up with me throughout the day to ensure that we (and our camper) got to Disney. She literally turned a VERY stressful time into one that was quite palatable. Thank you Heather for you calming effect, your efficiency and your desire to truly help. A+++ Service! I also want to give a shout out to Kenyan who drove the big rig hauling our truck to the dealership and then our camper to Disney. No doubt we made a GRANDE entrance into Disney with this monster truck hauling our 5er, He did a magnificent job getting us to where we needed to be. Thumbs up to Southern Wrecker and especially to Heather and Kenyan for saving the day!

  I drive a lifted Ford F150 4 door 4 x 4. My brakes went out on Argyle Forest Blvd & I made it onto the shoulder on Blanding Blvd. I called Southern Wrecker at 6:24 pm. Frank answered the phone & Amy followed up. Kyle called me at 6:35 to double check my location & say he was on his way. At 7:14 Kyle had my truck loaded & was on his way. (my husband picked me up). The whole process was less than an hour. I felt reassured from the dispatchers to the driver. They made a terrible situation not so bad! I would recommend Southern Wrecker to anybody needed a tow!   After a pretty scary experience with a breakdown on 295, it was so nice to be taken care of by such a great team. Frank went above and beyond in helping us and was incredibly nice!   I rarely post a review but when this happened today at my business i had to. One of my employees car broke down in my drive way and she called Southern Wrecker. The driver came out very promptly. He was very professional and decided to look at what was wrong before loading her car. He was able to fix her car and would take no pay. Not even for his time and the gas it took him to get here.   After reading all of the reviews I was skeptical about using them. I really didn't have a choice. So I sucked it up and gave them a call. I AM SO GLAD THAT I DID!. They were so friendly and dispatched a wrecker to come pick me up.They arrived very quickly. The driver was very friendly. The prices are VERY reasonable! I have nothing bad to say about Southern Wrecker & Recovery! Great people, Great Service. I will recommend them to everyone I know.
