This was my first time going here even though it’s minutes from my house. The hospitality they showed was awesome( they gave me a ride to my house so I could leave my car there) but communicating to me about where they were on my car either by text or phone call was not good. I had to call them all but one time to see what was going on. And then acted as though I was bothering them.

I needed a cap for my truck, after checking with three other dealers I went with In and Out Tire and Auto. Responsive and great service. Charlie was exceptional at working with me.

I'd remind the staff to respect the customers view better vs versus telling the customer that what they view as a better deal isn't. Also they need to provide details on tires and tire comparisons that show data on how the tire will do in different inclement weather vs just looking at the screen and deciding on what they think is better. Print out the details and let's make a mutual decision based on the indepent facts on the ratings of the tire and it's price. I competitively compete bear tire prices with those that are trip away approved in the area for the best value deal from the customer's perspective. Lastly, please don't ask a customer to call the service provider. As it should be, the other way around. I did appreciate the fact that they were trying to be competitive with further reducing their price, but in the end i found the set of 4 tires at a lower price which was my stated goal when I was told that they didn't honor the AAA buying a three tires and getting one tire free.

Not pleased at all with in and out tire. We were quoted one price and when the car was finished the price was 2x what was quoted. Oil change and tire rotation $100, but if you don’t need your tires rotated the price doesn’t go down a bit. They also charge for shop supplies whatever that means. I guess if they use a screwdriver or pliers, you get charged for the usage. Never again and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. Ocean Area tire is much better.

These guys are awesome! I got towed to their shop this morning in need of a new tire and they had me in and out with a new tire for a great price in an hour! No appointment, so I was amazed how quickly I was served. Everyone was so friendly. Would absolutely recommend!

I have needed to have my truck in for 3 different problems over the past month and In and Out has done a good job with the repairs on each one. They worked with me on pricing and with my service contract company. They went the extra mile to get everything done. The only negative would be a little better communication would be helpful.

We have used In and Out tire in the past and took my car back for an oil change and brakes. I received a call from Tim telling me I needed rotors, calipers, brake pads, and caliper hoses just for the brake job. I had never heard of replacing caliper hoses and when I questioned him about this he said that they needed to be replaced whenever you replace the calipers. I have been driving since I wa 16 and had never heard this and told him that they replaced the calipers several years back and never did this. When I mentioned this he searched the records and confirmed, they replaced the calipers 4 years ago and did not replace the hoses then he asked that I please stand by. Then I heard him ask about it to one of women working the counter and overheard her say, tell him the hoses have collapsed and need to be replaced. He quoted me a just under $1400.00 for this service. Tuim went on to tell me that my dipstick was stuck and I would need a new dipstick and tube. This cost was about $750.00. Again I questioned how is a new tube this much and I didn't want to have this replaced. He stated I needed to have this done, because they couldn't guarentee that the work without me having it done. I requested that they please put my truck back together and I would pick it up. I took the vehcile to the Honda Dealership in Salisbury. Everyone knows that dealerships are much more expensive, but I wanted to see if they would come back with all of the same recommendations. The dealership called me back and stated I needed brakes all the way around, no calipers. resurface the rotors and complete the oil change. I had all of the work done and spoke with the service advisor and mechanic after the fact. I questioned if there were any issues with the dipstick and he advised no, no issues. When asked about the brakes, again he advised no calipers were needed. When asked about the hoses, he said they were perfectly fine, no issues, not collapsed. He did state that one caliper on the front was missing a spring which I guess In and Out failed to replace when they did their inspection because they did not mention any springs missing. In and out Tire wanted a total of $2475.26 (which included a cabin air filter) for the oil change, brake job on 2 wheels and extras they told me I needed. Total at the dealership with them completing brakes on all 4 wheels and oil change was $1235.00 Needless to say we will not be going back to In and Out for repair work.

Extremely disappointed with them adding $100 unwanted warranty then not returning calls or messages. I remember the time when customer service matter. Now it's how can I squeeze every dime out if the customer. Don't bother replying with some excuse now when you could have discussed it with me. I can't imagine listening to a voice mail or reading an enail then ignoring it from a customer.

Had a brake caliper on the LEFT front lock up 2 hours from home. Called this shop and they were very accommodating. Said since we were traveling, they would get to the truck as soon as it was towed to the shop. Advised the front desk what had occurred to the front LEFT wheel only and told them that all brake rotors and pads had all been replaced within 30 days. They went to work on it and was told I was close to checking out at 4:45 pm . . A couple of minutes before the 5:00 p.m. closing, a new person came out and said we could not drive the truck away because there was a "vacuum leak". They told me I needed a master cylinder and brake booster. I declined that service and called AAA for a long distance tow back to my mechanic and paid the bill to have the vehicle released. After the shop closed, while waiting for the tow truck, I saw the bill contained a new rotor , caliper and pad on the RIGHT front, which was not involved in any problem and was only one month old. The next day at home, my mechanic went over everything. I watched him do two different tests of the brake vacuum system and there were no leaks. He took it on a 10 mile test drive and there were no issues at all with the brake system. He explained that if a brake booster or master cylinder was bad, it would be bad all of the time. They are either bad or good. In this case, they was good and did not need to be replaced. . So the shop charged me for work on the RIGHT front, that was perfect and not involved in any problem ( after being told the brakes were new) then tried to upsell me expensive parts and labor I did not need as they were closing at 5:00 p.m.. Very disappointed, because the gentleman who I spoke to on the phone when we broke down seemed empathetic and was willing to get my vehicle in right away. Never thought this outcome would have occurred based upon speaking with him . Glad I had the vehicle towed out of there after rejecting additional suggested work, and wish I had just done the long distance tow home, rather than going to this shop to begin with .BUYER BEWARE if you go to the shop!!!! Either the mechanic working on my vehicle did not know what he was doing, or the shop was intentionally trying to rip me off by upselling things I did not need (such as what they had already done by replacing new brake parts on the right front, that were not part of the problem) . UPDATE : Ownership admitted they "fell short "of proper service and indicated I should contact them to try to make it right. I therefore sent three emails and received have received no response. Apparently their offer to "make it right"was just something they wanted to put on this site to make people believe they are taking steps to correct the fraud they perpetrated upon me. So the admitted fraud on their part has not been corrected as of November 5th. I was hoping to avoid a formal complaint through Better Business Bureau, but I guess that is what I am left with at this point. Stay away from this business at all costs!!!!!!

Very happy with my experience at this auto repair shop! Was super easy to make an appointment on the phone as a new customer. They had flexibility with times even on a Saturday when I booked a few days prior. Drop off was easy and car was done fast. Was a big fan of the inspection they do. They take photos and send you everything and you can also save it as a file which is super cool. I got an oil change and tire rotation for $100, which I think if a fair price nowadays. I also asked for any other recommendations for service and they were honest + fair and said nothing at this time but let me know about what’s coming up. Great repair shop that I would recommend to everyone in the area!

Had an appointment for an oil change but upon putting it on the rack they found a problem with the cooling system which I already had been adding coolant so was no real surprise they had the part in stock so was able to do the repairs which made the wait time kinda long After it was done when I left the check engine light came on so I turned around and went back he actually came out on the parking lot and checked it out was a minor problem with the codes which he reset quickly. They were very professional and kind.Alex was so friendly and kind explained everything I would definitely recommend them to anybody needing their services I am 81 and they were understanding and thoughtful Way to go guys

This place is just amazing from the time you walk in the door till the time you leave all they do is try to upsell you and tell you that you need things you don’t necessarily need! I was told they could not change my tires over because they were older than three years old and that was a federal law. After looking into it, it is not the federal law but they sold me tires and I was putting new rims on my car. They wanted to charge me $150 to take four nuts out and remove the tire sensors over to the new wheels. They knocked it down to $100 but then couldn’t get them programmed. I watched a YouTube video and I told him how to do it and that’s how they did it and it took about three minutes to do all four tires. So caveat emptor and English that let the buyer beware, so before you spend money here you can probably do a lot better somewhere else! While I was there, I asked him how much it would cost to service my transmission in my Honda Ridgeline, the first thing that came out of her mouth is that vehicle is very hard to do, but I watched a YouTube video look pretty easy to me. Just didn’t wanna get underneath my truck and she said it would run between five and $700. Went home ordered the oil. Did it myself in five minutes again all they wanted to do was upsell you as I sat there and listen to her tell another person $250 to do hers, but I don’t think they got any easier than doing my Ridgeline but she missed that boat

When I had a tire fail while on the road, I just happened to spot this place and I pulled in. They had three people at the desk, all super busy, and the lobby and lot filled with clients. I did not expect that they would have any time me, but help they did. Nancy stayed calm through the chaos and made sure to get me rolling with a new tire ASAP.

Bad Experience -In September of 2022 I brought my wife's CRV to In and Out to have the exhaust system replaced at a cost of $750. Within a month there was rust inside the tailpipe. I asked In and Out if this should be a concern and they said no. Fast forward to August 2025 and the pipe from my catalytic converter to my muffler rusted clean through. Brought it back to In and Out and was told it was out of the 2 year warrantee and to replace it now was $1200. They agreed to reduce the price to $750 but that still seemed a lot for a exhaust system that was only 3 years old, and only once had been in brackish water. I took it home and replaced the system in 45 minutes with my neighbor. When we took the old system off we realized that a flex joint as found in the factory system was not used when In and Out installed the system in 2022. I confirmed with 2 other mechanics that the pipe shouldn't have sheared at the muffler if the flex joint had been installed. When I went back to In and Out trying to get some compensation I was told they wouldn't do anything. I will never bring a vehicle back to them because of this and suggest that others shop around for a mechanic they can trust.

This was my second time at the shop and I was very happy with the service and the staff. I had taken my car to the dealership for a tire change and I was told that it would be $410:00 for a new one so I took it to In and Out tire and I only paid $347:00 I thank them for their honesty which is very rare. Some places just take advantage of the customers. I highly recommend IN AND OUT TIRE Cordially Phillip

Steven was nice over the phone when I called and PATIENT as well. Definitely came to the rescue when my fiancé decided to take on a task that he was NOT ready for and giving me a headache in the process! The price was definitely giving what it was supposed to! The appointment time was given within 24 hours of deciding to go with their services. The installation of the tow hitch was definitely completely in a timely manner. And also conveniently able to drop off and pick up. Even to get a tow hitch ordered if we had to go that route would’ve been a steal of a deal! 10/10 definitely recommend and will return if the need arises.

They were able to get my vehicle in the shop on short notice. From the first phone call to the last, everyone was so nice and helpful! The shop was clean and well maintained. I liked that they sent the diagnostic report, invoice, and payment link all via text. It made it easy to find rather than having to search through emails. Prices are VERY reasonable. I highly recommend them!

I investigated other places to install my trailer hitch and In & Out had the best price. I don’t always take the lowest price but I had used them in the past for car service and was pleased with their service so I had them do this. They did an excellent job and I’m very pleased!

It’s been great so far… will definitely recommend. Great service, reasonable prices, it’s pretty clean inside, u can get coffee, they have charge ports for your phone. Updated review I recently had my 1993 Chevy Caprice serviced Intake manifold gaskets replaced, valve cover gaskets replaced, 4 brand new tires, I was really impressed with the engine bay it was dirty and gunk up with oil and coolant before they received it, when it was done the engine bay was clean, just reading this you should be taking your car there right now to get serviced you won’t be disappointed.

Replaced tires on my truck along with new rims which I purchased independently. Steven and Brandon from Trick Truck were extremely knowledgeable and patient answering my numerous questions and ensuring everything got done in time for an upcoming road trip. Tire prices were competitive with online discount retailers and labor rates also very fair. More importantly, the work was done right and i was confident the truck would be checked over and safe for my trip. Thank you for the great service, highly recommend and I will be returning!

In & Out is the perfect name for this place. I first went to a place that uses a world wide tire brand in their name, near my home in Ocean View, who told me is would be a couple of days to repair my tire. I found this odd as there were 3 techs sitting around in the office. Definitely not the answer I wanted to hear as my car sat jacked up on the side of the road. Remembered In & Out, and needed to run an errand to Milsboro anyway. The service advisor Heather, got me in there and then, and told me it would be an hour. Now that sounds like the correct amount of time it would take to repair a flat. She also advised me there would be no charge. It's not to often that a shop, will do any services for you, then wave the fee because you are an existing customer. I was really impressed, and this type of business is the one that will receive my customer loyalty, as well as referring to family and friends. I will also be sure to tell everyone about the the other local tire place, who would have let my car sit on the side of the road for a couple days. Thank you Heather and thank you In & Out Tire Pros.
