R.J was very ignorant to me while I was trying to ask about my car another day I was in auto zone asking about my car and his employee didn't know how to answer my question so he tryed calling R.J and he wasn't answering the phone so he had to call someone else to help me
Went into the Georgetown, DE location for a simple battery test. Stephen F. Helped me and even though it was a simple task he made it super pleasant. He got me all the information I asked for and was courteous as hell the entire time. Good to know that good workers still exist.
Lydia was amazing! Super helpful and knowledgeable! My windshield wiper flew off mid drive and luckily it wasn’t a far drive to AutoZone! The wiper itself was fine, but the clip was missing. Lydia tried to find just the clip, but I ended up needing to purchase the blade. She walked me through my different options, rang me up, and even installed it for me! Rockstar customer service!!
Jose is above and beyond employee, He helped me install license plate lights and a headlamp. And while I was in the parking lot looking for directions to my Next Destination, I left my headlights on and my battery was dead, Jose came to the rescue, charged me up and I was on my way.. Jose is the reason wherever I travel throughout the 48 contiguous states.It's people like that I keep coming back to autozone , thanks again. Sin.\nCerely john s
My engine oil light alert came on while traveling to Rehobeth and I had to stop to put oil in my car asap. I stopped at the Auto zone in Millsboro DE and was greeted kindly in the store and everyone ( the woman who looked up my cat oil type) and the gentleman who actually put the oil in my car were awesome! They made my day and would stop there again if needed! Thank you for being so kind, helpful and attentive to my needs!
I went in for a part, and the lady at the register with blonde hair was as rude as it gets. She gave me an attitude about the aisle, the part was down when I said I didn't see it. Then, when I said the part she thought was correct didn't look like the picture I was trying to show her, and then she mocked me. When I asked her what her name was, she said, What is yours to me. It was unbelievably rude service.
My experience is with their tractor trailers, from DC into Delaware, screaming through my neighborhood with little children, blowing past 3 stop signs, leaning on his horn and giving my husband the finger for pointing it out. Ohh, and the blasting of his horn. Karma's watching.
Stopped in here a few days ago with a Completly dead battery. It Was One of the most hottest days we had. I appreciate the quick action and work of the employees with a willingness to help. I Ended Up purchasing a brand new battery they installed for me in the dead heat of the day. They tested my alternator which I originally was stopping to test. I left informed and equipped with battery that will not die. The Heat Was Very Overwhelming Personally I would not have been offended if they couldn’t do it right then. They With smiles did all they could to diagnose and help. I been back at least once to get further recommendations with the same attitude and positivity shown every visit
The millsboro store sucks I will never go back ever again I go in the store to return a part I didn’t need I had my receipt but I didn’t have my debit card so I asked if I could get a cash refund the no teeth manager and the old lady both said no we can’t do that when I know good and well you can so I had to goooo all the way back home to get my card
Definitely terrible, they did a bad job at everything. With communication doing there job , and there attitude. Very upsetting I will not be back to that place definitely don’t recommend it unless you want to be dissatisfied and loosing your money worth.
What a great bunch of employees over at the AutoZone. A shout out to Cam!!! He helped me exchange a consumable, which is normally not allowed. They made things right for me and I am very appreciative. I will continue to shop there.
They are open late, That's about it. Always short staffed. If you call, don't get put on hold as they rarely pick back up. Prices tend to be higher on a lot of maintenance fluids than the local Napa or Carquest. They do have a self check out, so if you prefer self-serve instead of waiting in line at the counter, that's a good thing. Hard pass unless you have to.
AutoZone came to the rescue again! Warren from Millsboro DE AutoZone, was in the middle of doing something else, but took time out to help me. He removed rusted bolts on my car and changed out my plates. I had written a 5 star review for Chantilly VA location. But didn't realize, nationwide, they go out of their way to be helpful at all stores. I cannot believe how amazing they are! Thank you very much AutoZone!
I have always for the last 10-15 years used this location for all my car needs. Yesterday was the last day. Manager Jimmy, wanted to get loud with me, mind you after being in a major car accident on Monday and had to make everything as difficult as possible and got loud with me in the store when I had all my receipts. I called cooperate and left a vm. No message as of yet. This location will no longer get my services. Horrible customer service and he is a miserable soul with an attitude problem. 0 stars if I could.
My battery died yesterday, and a young man at your shop was very helpful, patient, and caring. I wish I knew his name. My receipt saids Reg #11 CSR #07.
On my second attempt at the store all I wanted was a bulb for my running light I gave my Vin number make and model. The gentleman was nice but he had no clue about what he was doing. I ended up leaving and taking my business elsewhere.
Very frustrating I won’t be back.
The crew here is always helpful! I needed wipers for my 4Runner. 24” drivers side 20” passenger. Drivers side went on easy. Passenger side had me thinking I was an idiot. Went back into the store and the clerk could tell I was not a happy camper. Turns out I took the wrong 20” wiper. Easy exchange and 5 minutes later I’m set. Thanks!

He explained all the parts I needed clearly, he made me feel welcomed and understood me at the same time as I explained my situation . He gave me his honest opinion & made suggestions , when I asked questions. I felt grateful and satisfied with my experience!
My car battery died. They checked the battery for free. I purchased a battery and it was installed in 5 minutes. Many thanks.
Since the new battery was installed, my car kept wanting to stall. Almost stranded. Returned next day, they installed the wrong size battery, and overcharged me. They only reason for 2 stars, is Jim who found the errors and corrected them. Jim has excellent customer service skills.
Went there for a battery for my lawn tractor. They had one but they wouldn't give me a warranty because they looked up the wrong phone number for my identification. Got frustrated trying to straighten it out, so I left. Bought a better battery with twice the warranty down the road for twenty dollars less. I guess the clerk did me a favor.
I came in looking for a part with my car broke down. I walked 5 miles around town to all the other parts store, and these guys were by far the most helpful. They were able troubleshoot with me and get the part in same day. Even better service than the dealer! A+
I needed a diagnostic for my check engine light, and RJ was able to assist me almost immediately. He went from finishing up one task to another, and was happy to help me. This is great customer service!
I must’ve come in on a bad day since most of the reviews are positive but I did not have a great customer service experience at all. I had come in looking for an error code reading on my car. I already suspected what was wrong but came in for a reading just to be sure. The man who I spoke with just grabbed the code reader and started walking outside without saying anything to me. Once we got to my car he tried handing me the code reader and asked if I knew how to use it. (No I don’t, that’s why I am here) he is now blatantly annoyed that he has to do his job. Once it does the scan he just unplugs the reader and walks inside without saying anything to me. Once I lock my car and find him inside he prints out the report and just hands me the paper. Doesn’t say anything. Doesn’t say what the report is suggesting. Doesn’t say he’s finished. Just hands me the paper and pretends like I am no longer there. I had to ask him if there’s anything they can do to help me fix my car. Only then did he give a suggestion to speak with someone else in the store. I would slightly understand if they were busy with other customers but I’m pretty sure I was the only other customer in the store.
The guy that helped me was amazing. I didn't catch his name though he is a bilingual manager. Without his help my day would have been ruined. I came here from advanced after they didn't even try to help. I wont hesitate to drive the extra distance next time.
I wish I had gotten the techs name but we showed up 5 minutes before close at 10 pm to get a headlight bulb and I figured I would put it in tomorrow... but the guy who helped us didn't even hesitate to offer to put it in even though it was late and dark and going to be after hours. To say I was impressed by his work ethic is an understatement! He did the job quickly, cheerfully, and thoroughly.
