Amazing service. I was sent to Robert’s auto from town faire tire for a mechanic issue, in addition to getting me in the next day- they were so kind and got everything I needed done. It was quick and easy for someone who didn’t even have an appointment and Craig is the nicest guy ever. Steve is real fun too. I highly recommend for kindness, value and integrity. I’m very picky about where I take my cars for service and have been looking for a good place for a long time- this is the one. I can’t even put into words the amazing experience and service. They even gave me some pizza because I was waiting through lunch so I didn’t have to order my own food! The best.
Found Robert's repair shop after calling aaa for road side assistance to jump my car. JT was awesome and my battery needed to be replaced (knew prior) and didnt want to keep dealing with a dead car. JT gave me a card and I called and spoke with Craig who was also super nice and helpful! They got me in within about 30 mins just driving down and the whole thing was done in under 30 mins at a great price as well. Everyone was nice and welcoming, no messing around. Definitely going to be my new go to shop! 10/10 would recommend ^^

A clean shop will attract more business, including mine and my families. If the owner doesn’t care about the cleanliness of his shop/place & if the techs don’t care about the cleanliness of their tools and area then they won’t care about my vehicle.

We have used 'Roberts' in Milford for auto repairs and been exceedingly satisfied every time. Everyone we have come in contact with has been personable and professional. The service itself has been exemplary. Yesterday I stopped in and spoke to Craig regarding a scraped wheel on my new car. He said Roberts could not repair the damage but he suggested I see the owner at 'Tony's' in Milford - which I did. I now have an appointment to have the wheel repaired - thanks to the customer service at 'Roberts.' I can't tell you how much I appreciate having 'Roberts' in my town. They are reliable, reasonable, helpful and honest.They are quite simply the very best! THANK YOU!
Needed emissions test, so swung by Robert's in Milford, and they were just as friendly and efficient as their West Haven garage (Bruneau's), where I get my car serviced. Highly recommend both Robert's/Bruneau's locations.
Brought my midsize pickup to Roberts to get some work done. Needed a battery cutoff and a new radiator. Also needed emergency brake lines remounted. Was charged appropriately for the radiator and the labor that went into its installation. For the brake lines and module on the other hand, I was not charged appropriately. I was charged a separate ($140) labor cost for mounting the module ( fits on terminal of the battery ) and the driving of one self-tapping screw with exhaust strapping. On the itemized bill I was charged $30 in miscellaneous parts. What were those parts you ask? 1 self-tapping screw and 4 inches of exhaust strapping. I know what a whole box of screws and a roll of strapping cost. I would have let this go but considering the mechanics left their lunch in the front sent of my truck and the office failed to order another part for my truck, I am left with no choice but to change garages and write this review.
I am new to town and decided to try Robert's for my car services. I am very impressed. They are professional, kind, and understanding. They were happy to give me multiple options for new tires as I was seeking something budget-friendly. They are also accommodating with schedules for days and times of appointments so I was able to bring my car in on my work from home day. Additionally, they have a complementary shuttle service. As someone who has previously WALKED to and from my mechanic this feels like a luxury! Thank you Robert's!
Very lazy service techs messed up my mileage by putting the wrong miles on my car and makes it looks like it’s tampered with miles car have 130k miles they put 73k miles I would I’ve to know why and they don’t there job right so upset
This company is the best overall!John and Steve were amazing! I had a ton of work done to my Nissan. Transmission, control arms and drive shaft. Very big job, but the team at Rob's was great. They were very thorough with excellent customer service and communication. My car was done in just under one week!! It's driving better now than I think it ever has to be honest. I won't go to any other auto repair shop other than Roberts. My entire family goes there for for maintenance and any repairs if needed.
Not many businesses can match their integrity, friendliness and skill. Ive been there for emissions testing, oil changes, and brakes. Today, when I discovered a screw in my tire, they saw me immediately and fixed the problem for free. They’re all great people but Steve was especially helpful and kind today.
Had to call AAA when my car started making a weird noise. We didn’t want to risk it and decided to get it towed. AAA connected us with Robert service center. We had Jacob come and help us out and I just wanted to say he was so helpful and kind especially under a stressful situation. He got us hooked up quick. Drove us home safely. His truck was immaculate and provided excellent service. We appreciated it. Thank you.
This place is one of the most honest shops I have ever done business with. They dont try to sell you what you dont need. Office manager Steve is top notch and always so helpful and pleasant. I think he needs a raise.
Getting emission tests done here was quick and easy. General maintenance always takes a while though, with no time estimate.
The first time I brought my car in for maintenance, they didn't test my windshield wiper so I had to point it out during my next visit. During my second visit, the cabin air filter cover was not put back on securely and my glove compartment wouldn't close smoothly anymore and I had to fix them myself.
I’ve had my cars towed to this garage multiple times (due to failed engines), for this garage to be so helpful in diagnosing and urging me to go to the dealership to fight for a new engine (all Hyundais - don’t get one). They were able to diagnose my most recent engine failure after 3 hours of looking at my car, and then after recommendations to tow it to the dealer, it took the dealership 2 weeks after saying they don’t know what’s wrong, to finally say I need a new engine and they will cover it.
I will always come back to Robert’s because they are so trustworthy and honest with their communication and extremely helpful.

Every business owner should take a lesson in customer service by watching the folks at Roberts. We recently purchased a late-model used car and brought it to our trusty Roberts for a pre-purchase inspection along with the sellers. (Steve got us right in the next day and gave Craig a heads up.) The mechanic test drove it, put it on the lift, and found issues to repair but still said it would be a good purchase for a first-time car for a teen. What amazed me the most is the mechanic even offered and then went outside and spoke to the sellers and helped to negotiate the price down on our behalf given the repairs. We never expected that. Angel went above and beyond to help long-standing customers on a busy Saturday. Amazing service. And now we're bringing the car back for new tires and the repairs of course. I continue to receive excellent service from this repair shop. Steve and Craig are an absolute pleasure to deal with. Many businesses could learn so much about expanding their own customer base by spending a day with these guys. I just purchased 4 new tires from Robert’s about 2 months ago and they did not perform well in the recent light snowfall we had earlier this week. I called Steve and explained my issue and he said “No worries.” “Bring the car in right away and we’ll make it right.” They did! Excellent way to handle a loyal customer. My Kia was recently stollen and my car was towed here next day, the staff here was amazing. They took care of everything with my ins company to get my car back to me fast and ready to drive. We have lived about 1 mile from Robert’s Service Center for 40 years and went in for a EPA test for the first time. They were fast, efficient and put our car on the rack because of some heat in the trunk. Found an issue with exhaust and Craig and his crew were very helpful! Found the issue and recommended a fix in minutes. They were great to work with. We will definitely go back and can't recommend them enough. Fair and professional!

I own a small car rental business and end up dealing with a lot of towing business. While I can't say it's a pleasant experience having a customer total one of my cars, everyone I dealt with at Roberts from Mr Bruneau to the young lady behind the desk to the gentleman who moved the car in the yard was courteous, professional and efficient
Came here for an emissions test. Was quick, convenient, and efficient. They have dedicated spots on the side of the building for emissions test parking. Large waiting area with plenty of seating. Was in and out within 20 minutes. Be sure to get there early because they can get quite busy!

We found Roberts from AAA and hen we needed towing service. Glad we did. They also do emissions testing. Steve is the manager and he cares about the customer. The rest of the staff has always looked out for our best interests, especially with older cars.
