Most of all the above reflect a different price and/or method of achieving the stated lowest price listed. I do not want anything from this dealer other than they are held to a standard of honest straight forward business dealings. If there is even such a thing in Used Car Sales.
Their Ad they state "150 POINT SAFETY & MAINTENANCE INSPECTION ", but when I asked for this information (at least 4 times) they finally sent me a "blank" form. When I called to speak with them about this, they played word semantics with me and said they “do” a 150 Multi-Point Inspection, not that they have “done” and 150 MPI on every vehicle. But after going back and forth over verb usage (present v past tense), they now claim they “do” their 150 Point Inspection at the time of purchase. Basic common sense would dictate that a remote buyer (that is a multi-hour trip away from them) would want to review their stated 150 MPI AND have an Independent 3rd party Inspection completed before EVER spending thousands of dollars buying a used car. I know I would, especially looking at a vehicle from a remote location, and have done so now twice in the last 30-days before having to walk away due to the results. Furthermore, since they have been in business for 30+ years; that makes them automotive professionals/experts... So, you decide, an expert dealership was “confused” that a customer wanted to review a completed 150 MPI they themselves advertised, especially with a vehicle with 94K miles on it and NOT A SINGLE Maintenance record in either Autocheck or Carfax reports. I asked for their 150 MPI on at least four separate occasions for their Vehicle. Not once (when they had opportunities to do so), tell me that they do this at the time of purchase. Then unbelievably, the Sales Manager tells me they “DO” indeed HAVE a 150 Point Inspection completed for this vehicle. Huh?!!? Why then did someone send me a BLANK Form almost 16 hours later, the next morning (remember 30+ year experts). Bottom line NONE of their ADs says anything about how their 150 MPI is finalized at or just prior to the time of purchase, and the fact I asked for it would be indicative that they should execute their process and let me know when it will be available.
Just wait, they will tell you...
• My request came in at 1:15p EST (I did not speak with a human until ~4:33p EST, which was no big deal).
• I was not clear on what I wanted with the 150 MPI so they sent me a blank form which is on their site.
• I was rude to their finance manager when in fact I was curt with her because of the blank 150 MPI they sent me, and frustration from the lack of communication and additional information I had requested undelivered 16 hours prior.
• They were uncovering 17-Inches of snow from three days prior (when they could have communicated that at least six times prior)
• I was rude to the sales manager, but my rudeness was a response to being treated rudely first, it was simply a mirroring technique.
Given how poorly they say I communicate, I imagine this review has disproved that notion.
So go ahead Road Ready… Give it your best shot, I have my popcorn ready. All your excuses of how "it's not your fault" are tiring and abused. I have all the receipts if you want to challenge this further. It was my extreme displeasure to have to deal with this dealership and I am so EXTREMELY glad this all came out before I spent a single cent on the purchase of their vehicle. Look folks if you don’t believe what I am saying, go for it and deal with them, they do have some complimentary reviews and are BBB A+ rated, perhaps this was a one off situation to many one off situations as their 1-star ratings are piling up, or you can look at my other reviews to see, I try my level best to deliver honest accurate and comprehensive information.
This place is incredible. It is absolutely gorgeous and all of the people here are extremely helpful and professional. Mikey is the best salesman ever! This place is super accommodating and made me feel like family! Amanda, Billy, and the owner Ron are great stand up people who will take care of you and really appreciate your business. I HIGHLY recommend this dealer!

I normally don't write reviews, but as a customer that does not like dealing with car salesmen I have to say my experience at Road Ready was great!! Ryan was completely honest from the very start. Any issues or concerns I had with the vehicle the Road Ready team addressed all issues professionally and quickly.

Buying experience excellent, very cool dealership. Problem is, they sold me a car and hid multiple problems with it, a transmission fluid leak that was wiped up and hidden before I brought the car, also they put a fender flare over a rust hole on the fender. Also had a tire that was worn on the inside do to somebody not tightening the axle nut enough, very shotty mechanic work. Blower motor resistor shorted out the day I got it home as well. I didn't Google review this right away. I contacted the dealer the day after and explained the problems I found. Didn't really get much feedback, they didn't seem to care. He said to bring it in their shop and they would see what they could do for a discount on all the repairs. God only knows what kind of shisty bill write up this place would throw at me. I offered to buy the parts if they installed them so they wouldn't have to pay anything out of pocket. I never received a return phone call. Bottom line I brought the car "as is" like majority of cars on their lot. All of the problems I found were not able to see on the dealership lot especially being that they were trying to cover them up. I also towed the car home that day, because my wife was watching our child and I didn't have anyone to drop me off but did have a car trailer. This dealership is as sketchy as they come, they are seriously shisty people. I contacted DMV with my concerns and they told me I had a valid small claims case because the repairs were over a thousand dollars and I documented them the next business day. I'm able to do some repairs my self luckily, even though it's hard with young children. I would definitely take your business somewhere else, you and your family can end up very hurt financially buying a car from this place. Don't walk run away from this business.
Excellent service was provided me from my first call to the handshake acknowledging a deal! All staff, from managers to finance department handled my questions and concerns with sincere interest and clear knowledge. Sales consultant, Brian took plenty of time and respectfully assisted me (a senior citizen) thru the close of my purchase. Very satisfied w/ my car; and, highly recommend Road Ready!

The place was very professional and unique . I drove down from white mountains (nh). For an older Tahoe. I expected some minor issues. They put new back brakes so I was glad of that So far love the Tahoe.
I’m little bummed it didn’t pass tire inspection. So now I have to buy new tires because it is unsafe to drive in the snow. As we experience with a dusting we just got today. Had to turn back home and get the jeep.
Ryan was my sales guy. He was friendly and helpful for me purchasing a vehicle so far away. And the lady’s were good with paperwork ready. I was in and out. Over all it was a Average experience with dealerships. Depending on your purchase.

Last week I got the news that my trusty Equinox that I'd had for years was going downhill fast. It was unexpected and financially it was bad timing. I checked out many local dealers and decided to visit Road Ready in Ansonia. Awesome salesperson Ryan found me wandering amongst the cars and spent the next few hours helping me compare the options best suited for me and my teenage son. I ended up with a beautiful Ford Escape that even though it was an older year, it had extremely low mileage and was in great shape. It has some nice bells and whistles that are still surprising me. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Road Ready offers full service oil changes, maintenance and repairs. I've never seen a used car dealer with that. Then I received another gift from Road Ready; financing with the lowest interest percentage I've ever had on a vehicle loan! With that and the generous amount given for my trade-in, I now have a beautiful, reliable car with financing I can afford. Between Ryan and Amanda, the whole experience took away the anxiety I had about the process of buying a car. Definitely would recommend Road Ready!
I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I did my homework searched all over the place for a car that fit my needs and my style. Road Ready was different than any of the other dealerships I dealt with. Michael Tobacco in particular did a great job allowing me to search the lot and really allowed me to enjoy the car buying experience from start to finish. Even let me check out really cool cars that I couldn't afford but as a car guy it was fun. I ended up getting a Buick and have had it for about a month now. I smile every time that exhaust purrrrs. I feel like I got a great deal for it too. They even went above and beyond seeing to it that I got to keep my vanity license plates from out of state. Their was a hiccup at my local tag office due to no fault of their own and they went the extra mile to get it taken care of. Will definitely buy another car from them again!

Caliper siezed up first day. Undercoating literally non existent in spots. Rear end leaking fluid all over exhaust and spare tire. Fog light housing shattered so all it does is rattle and shake. Was told I'm on my own because I left an honest review, and they wont fix it. Going to see what legal steps I can take and contact the state. Because like I was told im apparently on my own. Update.... new caliper was needed due to the fact that they took one off a different model and installed it on this truck. New caliper, new brakes, new rear diff pinion seal, and $ 3000.00 later oh.. BTW only drove 1,650 miles after purchasing im Almost ROAD READY ! If you love your family, don't put them in a vehicle from these shisters!
Update! Looked at the ct inspection report that they have to perform, it's dated 6/19/21! Bought the truck in 7-2025!
Emissions was never done so I got a later fee notice. Call ct emissions and by law they are supposed to test for emission. Its on the dam inspection sheet marked tested. But wait it's from 2019.
The GM is a certified scam artist, who speaks to clients like we are completely oblivious to the fact that we are getting completely being taken advantage of.
What is happening there is immoral , illegal, and just down right shady.
Buying a vehicle from them is putting yourself and your families life at risk!
Don't just dont even entertain the notion of dealing with these people who lack honesty, intelligence, and above all integrity.
Hopefully my horrible experience will prevent someone out there from being scammed.
There's so much more to this story but I was told by the GM that unless I took down my honest review, he wouldn't speak to me about anything and that I was on my own. All the while swearing and disrespecting me constantly. I didn't fight for my country, and work my butt off to be treated with such appalling language and utter disrespect. The entire experience disgusts me.
Im honestly ashamed I didn't see it happening. Looking back at it now I realize I was being manipulated the entire time.
The only reason the have 4 plus stars is that they pressure you the whole tie to leave a good review. While your there before you leave, when you're picking up the vehicle, after you leave they call you and tell you again. Then they offer you 3 car washes to leave a good review. Its like they already know they screwed you, they just want you to leave a good review before you realize it.
Last time I left an honest review the ''GM" called and literally scolded me like he was some sort of wizeguy mafia enforcer.
Imagine if that was your mother, your wife, a senior. Unbelievable!
Road ready? Howabout you do the inspections first before you start claiming that.
And to the telephone tough guy, you're not fooling anyone so drop the act. You're not intimidating anyone.
The last pic states. That they can be prosecuted for making these false written statements that they know are not true. Well, here's the proof! I'll update again once I speak to my legal advisor and we start taking steps to bring these people to court to seek justice.
I dont yell, swear, or disrespect. I calmly, logically assess the issue and act accordingly in the confines of the law to achieve the outcome I desire. Thats what adults do road ready. So let the grown ups speak and im sure either my legal counsel will have something drafted up or the state will.

Frank was especially helpful,patient, and really took the time to understand what I was looking for. They answered all my questions honestly and made the process smooth and stress-free.

Him and Dave helped me get the best deal possible when coming to financing the car and made me feel comfortable in my choice! Recently bought a yukon from here, they are not pushy which is nice, huge selection and helpful with finding alternatives if needed, show room is clean and the old school car themes are nice.
Few cons, firstly the car was cleaned and safetied when we drove it, however it does not appear they actually did a through job cleaning like other dealers do. We have found lip gloss and other stuff under the seats, some of the buttons sre sticky to touch, asked them if they could clean a drawing on headliner, there was no attempt at cleaning that, it seems to be ran thru a car wash and that's it. There's a lot of hidden charges and they don't like to tell you your interest or payments over the phone before you get there to sign papers.. never had that issue anywhere before. So now im gonna contact my detailer to have him properly detail the car

Nicholas Glorioso was my POC through the whole transaction. Very friendly & helpful in so many ways as we are dealing long distances for the car. He sent videos of the car to us, so we could make our decision. The car was super clean, sharp! Low mileage was one perk we loved, and the car did not look 14 years old! The delivery company was fast and safe! They treated the car as their own! Emily and Amanda help with transactions and my finances. Both staff members were outstanding! We financed it with our bank for convenience. I would recommend this dealer!
10/10 Experience. My mom and I recently purchased my first car from here, A 2011 Toyota Camry.
