Drove two hours after arranging to see truck this afternoon. No response after messaging that I had arrived. Waited half an hour- NO response. One star is too good for this business........Take your $$ elsewhere.

Horrible. Called and spoke to them prior to going to view the truck. I made sure to have him state if there were any dash lights on and he assured me there were not any. Drove 3.5 hours down to see the truck. It was rotted, had body damage that was hidden in the pictures, and there were 4 dash lights on. Complete waste of time due to dishonest sellers. Avoid this place. This review is from 2020.

Buyer beware. It all started when I bought the vehicle. I picked it up on the way to work one day. I drove it to work and then back home with no issue. Total distance is not even 5 miles. I start the car the following morning and the check engine light pops on. Thank God they gave me the 30 day coverage. I call the shop and they tell me to bring it by. They tell me that they just changed the oxygen sensor before selling me the car and that is probably triggering it. I stopped into the shop and they reset the check engine light hoping that that would solve the problem. After driving around a bit the light went back on. They told me that I need to drop the car off there for the day and they would look at it in addition to putting new front tires on which they told me they would do. Mind you my second job my income is bases strictly on my vehicle. I drop the car off at the shop early one morning and pay for an uber to get home. The whole day goes by without hearing a word from the shop. I called early afternoon and was told that they were doing the tires at Town Fair Tire and I could pick the car up from Town Fair. When I asked about the check engine light i was told that they could not get to it and that I had to bring it back another day. So there goes a day of pay without getting the initial problem taken care of. In total there were three of these wasted days until they finally told me that they did all they can do and they tried to fix it enough times and it wasn't on them any longer and my 30 day coverage is long over. Ok yes I realized the time period but this issue was literally trying to be fixed by them since the 2nd day I owned the car. It turned out that it was the oxygen sensor that they replaced but since this car is a California emissions vehicle it takes a certain type of sensor and not a generic one which they ordered online. They would have known that if they had a real mechanic working at the shop. They leave their cars and the safety of their customers in the hands of a welder who knows a few things about cars. No certifications or schooling just guess work. Now the owners will say that i'm just mad because they came and towed my car repo'ing it due to non payment during this pandemic. I work in a hospital surrounded by the pandemic all day. My second job was lost due to closures. Overtime was cut while exposure risk was on the rise. They claim they tried calling me for a few weeks but when they called my number was out of service. My number has not been out of service in the past at least 3 years. If i knew they were going to come and take the car then i would have obviously figured out something but the money wasn't there. Also you have to make your payments at the shop and not even over the phone or else they charge an additional fee. To be honest i didn't think they were still open after driving by there one day and seeing it closed. Bottom line is yes i know i should have paid but these are unprecedented circumstances and they are not even willing to work with their customers. They don't care if you don't have the money due to this pandemic, they don't care if you need the car to go to work at the hospital, they don't care keeping their word and fixing the problems with the cars they sell. Its all about the money to them and since the economy is bad they decided to go out and repo cars and charge the people who already don't have the money an extra $700 repo fee. I also checked with the local police and they did not follow proper repo procedures. But thats no surprise with this place. Don't fall for the fake front that they put on. They do NOT stand behind their vehicles and their "mechanic" couldn't even fix a Tonka Truck. The sad part is that I saw one or two reviews similar to this one when I purchased the car and thought it was just a few sour apples. Boy was I wrong. Do yourselves a favor and just keep driving right by.

Dealer concealed the condition of the exhaust system computer by unplugging the battery between showings, leaving me with an expensive emissions problem. They also used what I considered to be sleazy tactics to inflate the price above what we discussed. Years ago, hopefully management has changed.

They are dishonest and bad businessman. They refuse to do their basic function as a car salesman.

I was in the market for a new car and like others I'm sure decided to see what I could find online. I came across a posting for Ansonia Auto Park and clicked on they're inventory and was blown away by their selection of used cars and the great prices they were selling them for. I set out the next day expecting to do battle with a bunch of lying, underhanded and downright dirty bunch of thieves but upon my arrival I was suprised to find...Scott. This guy is one of the coolest and laid back guys you wanna meet and he lets you sell yourself a car that fits your budget and your style. I said okay when the money guy gets here thats when the lube job starts. However to my suprise the guy was not only interested in turning a profit but wanted to make sure I left happy. So in a nutshell, wether you have good credit or not so much, the guys at Ansonia Auto Park will take great care of you. Thanks Fellas

I bought my daughter a GTI for Christmas last year-as I was driving it home it did not shift out of first gear-bought it back, it was gone for three weeks to a month-they "fixed" it-still had same problem-then the temp light came on, check engine light came on-sent it back again-told them I did not want the car-Tony said "you bought as is". I paid them $5500 cash-owing them $1200-well I gave up getting it fixed by them-I put more than $1200 of work in it and August the cars transmission went completely. $2600-3000 to fix. I called them to see if they fixed the transmission in March why would it be shot-of course they can't produce the paperwork that it was fixed because the place they went to "went out of business" and they won't give me the title to the car and have said they should repo it, or we can bring the car back to them and walk away-what the hell kind of deal is that? They still made a profit!!! They suck!!! NEVER BUY A CAR HERE! I did hire an attorney-THEY SHOULD BE OUT OF BUSINESS!

I expect most used car sellers to be a bit shady but the bull coming from this place was over the top. Cars they offer seem to be mostly low end wholesale models that reputable dealers won't sell, and the place looks like a junkyard.

Dan Pry does not stand behind the cars he sells and Tony and Carl will tell you ANYTHING to sell it!!! I recently purchased an Infinity I30 beautiful car with all the bells and whistles I was seeking. During the test drive the car stalled out out several times - the salesman Tony who said he's a stand up guy and will tell you everything that is wrong with the car and that the vehicle had just arrived and they had not had a chance to look it over but would fix all the issues I requested, which at first glance looked fixed when I came to pick up the car. Three (3) days later I brought the car back because the "Service Engine Soon" light had come. To which Dan "the owner" stated that I had shocked the car by the amount of miles I had put on it (600mi) and then ran a scan which indicated a Mass Air Flow issue which he attributed to improperly closing the gas cap. He shut off the light and I went on my way. A week and 1/2 later; I came back with the light on again - again a Mass Air Flow Issue and now an O2 sensor. He told me he would have someone look at it ...I tried to reach him several times all with no success. The car stalled out and would NOT turn on a few days later - I paid for the repair of a cam shaft sensor which got the car semi running the mechanic indicated that this and the O2 sensor were symptons of a greater problem with the Mass Air Flow Sensor. Dan said that he would fix anything related to my original issue and told me to take it to a garage who does work for him and he stated that the Mass Air Flow Sensor was in need of repair. Dan then said that that the issue the car had at 1st was the Crank shaft sensor and was NOT part of my original stall out issue code and that was not his issue. I took the car to a third repair location in Wallingford who also stated that the Mass Air Flow Sensor needed to be replaced and that the Crank Shaft Sensor would not allow the car to Fire (which it during the test drive) instead the Mass Air Flow would be the culprit and the several Sensors had probably become damaged due to a faulty Mass Air Flow sensor. Needless to say I have now sunk close to $400 and I havent even owed the car 45 days and with high priced lemon.

SELLS JUNK. DO NOT BUY HERE. Bought a car here with a very limited warranty and even with the warranty, he is not standing behind the car. It was a Subaru Forester and needed a new turbocharger based on our local Subaru Dealer after bringing it home from them. He will not replace the turbocharger, only offering to help a little with the cost. Bad guys here, please stay away.
