John took in our vehicle at moments notice, where other places needed 1 to 5 days for an appointment. Understood the process of waiting for approval from our company headquarters and as soon as it was approved he got to work on it. Everything done in less than 24 hrs. Brakes, wheel bearings, leaking windshield wiper fluid reservoir and a leaking tire. Thanks for the service.
Just moved to the area and wanted to give this place a shot due to all the good reviews for “great price” and “great service”. What a mistake. $140 for synthetic oil change is $50 higher than I usually pay. $110 for a tire rotation is triple the price I usually pay and borderline extortion. To make things worse after waiting for nearly 1.5 hours I was told they could not remove one of my tires and that I would need to come back and drop the car off for the day to finish the job… I’ve never even heard of such a thing. So he charged me $60 to rotate 2 tires and said I could pay the other $50 when I brought it back in. He even had the nerve to color in my lug nut with a sharpie. That weekend I drove the 30 min to my normal shop and they rotated the other 2 tires in less than 15 minutes and didn’t even charge me and they sort of just laughed that this mechanic that’s been in business for decades couldn’t remove a tire. Needless to say I won’t be coming back to this shop and wouldn’t recommend you do either.
Called to get my brakes and rotors done on my bmw car . They said my car is too old when its a 2015 car and websites says they work on any make and model cars .

Was able to squeeze me in at last minute before a road trip. Always double checks to see if tires & belts are in good condition. Very friendly & efficient.
I had a great experience. They really made sure that I understood the issue with my car. They were also did the work in a quick manner. I would recommend them and will be going to them in the future.
Service was great! I needed my breaks and rotors swapped out. I dropped my car off at 9:30am got a call with a quote at about 11-11:30 and got my car back at 2:30 same day. Next time my car needs servicing I am going here.
A place you can trust! They did a great job with my’09 Tacoma. My repairs were texted to me as they were done & gone over in detail at the shop. A lot of work was done at a very fair price. Thanks!
First off- never given review before- quick turnaround and later follow up on that service to check on how’s it is going. (nobody does this).I will be bringing all my auto repairs to John and recommending to my family and friends to do the same.
Complete Auto Repair Specialists repaired my Ford F150 in a timely, honest, professional manner. They kept me up to date on what repairs were needed, cost and time frames. I would highly recommend them for all your automotive needs!! Truly 5 stars!!

They go above and beyond to resolve any situation. I trust them and wouldn't go anywhere else for service.
John was wonderful, he took the time to share pictures of the issue, educate me on the why, test to make sure it wasn’t a bigger problem and was in frequent communication with me. He was even able to fit me in same day for diagnostic and had the part ordered and car repaired next day. I’m from out of town but I’m considering driving the hour to use this mechanic for any issues I have in the future with my car.
I had my car towed there and they were able to look at it within a couple of hours. I got text updates the whole time they were working on it and the work was able to be complete same day. They were super professional and kind when I called and when i picked up my car they took the time to explain exactly what was wrong with it and how they fixed it. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone in the Cromwell area who needs their car worked on.
The best car service I’ve ever received. Everything is explained very clearly, the prices are more than fair and I always felt like I was dealing with a straight shooter who wanted to help me out with my car instead of figure out how to get the most money out of me (unlike dealerships!!). And you couldn’t be dealing with nicer people, the owner and his wife are wonderful people and easy to work with. If I ever need anything else, I’m going straight back to CARS.
Came in with my 2019 Corolla after making an appointment cause my dealership quoted me an absurd amount for my front brake rotors (no mention of pads). Got the same work and more for the same price on the same day I brought my car in which was originally just for a diagnostics check. I don’t normally write reviews but this was worth my time because John and his team are truly phenomenal. My car was already in the air and he offered to replace my brake rotors and pads right then and there. Thank you for the service!
I would highly recommend CARS for any auto repair need. Any make any year. John and his team were exceptional. They took my car in with no appointment , gave me an evaluation by the next morning and back by 4:00 that day. I appreciate John’s quick response and fair and open pricing. These guys know their stuff.
We had our car breakdown on 91 and called CAR to see if we could get it towed there. He had us bring it to him and did a full look through to find out the issue. He communicated with us and even sent pictures that helped us to understand exactly what happened. We will definitely be taking our cars to them going forward.
Brought my car to Complete automotive care upon recommendation from another car company. I am so glad I did. John was so nice and explained everything that was going to be done with pictures included. He did all the work in a timely manner and I was good to go that afternoon. I decided to bring my truck in to John after reading numerous great reviews about his business. I can confidently say that the reviews were accurate. He stands by his work and is not in business just to get your money. He is fair and honest and very passionate about cars. You can tell just by talking with him. He was able to fix an issue I've been having for a while after a Dealership put one of their alignment guys on my truck. After numerous returns to that dealership and a very reputable Alignment shop in my area I was ready to give up. In the end it was John and his mechanic Trevor that were able to get the truck back to where it needed to be. I couldn't be happier with the service from Complete Automotive Repair Specialists.
