Elmwood Automotive does outstanding work, this is a legit body shop. I damaged my bumper and tailgate. It’s like it never happened now. The customer service and communication was excellent. Don’t let any bad review about the towing service influence you. Remember, when someone has their car towed they are automatically not happy. There is a reason Elmwood has an overwhelming majority of 5 star reviews. I highly recommend this business. Thank you Sergio!

Had car trouble with vintage jaguar in front of Elmwood Automotive this morning. I walked into office, Sergio and his crew assisted in getting back on road with out charge. This doesn’t happen in today’s world . Couldn’t have had a better experience.

I brought my car in after getting an oil change from the dealership. They were trying to charge me 1.3k to get a brake and rotor job completed - which is outrageous. So I was referred to Elmwood by my sister who has gotten a bunch of work done here!
Sergio was warm, welcoming and understanding. He priced everything out (a lot more affordable than the dealership with warranty on labor and parts) and provided an estimated time of completion so I could plan around my work day. My car was brought in at 9 and done by 1pm with a full smile. Which feels nice as lady because most shops would take advantage.
I’ll be back for any car work needed without hesitation.

I needed a tow after 5pm, and most tow shops were either closing or charging crazy rates. Luckily, Elmwood got me right with ease in the middle of an unexpected car issue. The price was unbeatable, and they arrived quickly to bring my car home. Chris, who towed my car, even went out of his way and spent close to an hour trying to diagnose and fix the issue. Turned out my ground wire just needed to be exposed more, which was why my battery kept dying. I really appreciate that—it saved me a lot of money, as I thought the issue was my alternator or starter. I highly recommend this place.
I swear if I could leave -5 stars I would. There are so many things wrong with this business it’s mind blowing to me anyone would work and partner with them. This company knew they would not be able to provide me with the service requested and took the job anyways. I am beyond disappointed with the business practice and handling of customer care from Elmwood Automotive. First, when you call, the phone options are poorly organized. The operator says “press 1 for 24 hr tow service” -I pressed one and was connected to “a police line.” This was my first time interacting with this business. The woman refused to help me understand how to get in touch with Elmwood Automotive. She said she was unaffiliated and only there to connect to the police line. Don’t give this extension as an option if it is not of use to your customers or specify that the line is an emergency line! When I finally did get through to someone else she also said she was simply a middle man and could not speak to my options considering my situation. I scheduled a tow through my insurance for between 2-2:30. I was very specific about the fact that I needed my vehicle to be delivered to its destination no later than 3:15. Shortly after the runaround in the phone, the business owner called me to report that the tow would not arrive until closer to 3:30. When I explained that I ordered the tow in advance and was clear that I needed it in the 2’oclock hour. This man then proceeds to tell me that he told my insurance company he would not be able to arrive in the hour yet he agreed to take the job anyways! That doesn’t make any sense. That’s a money grab at my expense. If this man knew that it was an unlikely possibility that he could work within the desired schedule l, he should have passed on it and let my insurance company coordinate with someone else. The worst part is that there was no notification, no outreach, not a word until I called and started to make a fuss. All the problems I’ve encountered up to this point were 100% avoidable if not for the ignorance of others. I filed a complaint with my insurance company against Elmwood Automotive. What a crap place. I don’t ever want to deal with this place again.
I don't know where my review went for this group, but just giving positive vibes for their quality of service, reliable prices and overall trust on both their experience and transparency.
Second time i dealt with them since introduced for the first time with a Fuel Pump replacement.
I got a random check engine light which was odd because I know i had to replace my battery and didn't expect to see that. Just FYI i do my own replacements, but when it has to do with the engine, i let professionals assist. With most repair shops charging you to run diagnostics, its nice to know a mechanic that cuts through the BS, wants to make sure both his staff are taken care of and also not trying to get one on the customer.
I trust these guys with my car, and will always rely on their advise. Where you have other mechanics lie to you and say your Battery will die next month (its been now about a year) these guys will be honest and tell you where you are at.
Trash, they sent a tow truck to pick up my car and as I’m waiting OUTSIDE, i see the driver arrive and the driver pulls off !! When we call dispatch he gave us the excuse that they had another call. How does that even make sense . DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. Customer service severely lacking .
Elmwood Automotive was excellent!! I popped two tires on a curb and they were sent to tow my car. They were extremely fast, helpful and great to work with. I called them a few times to check on things and they were great on the phone too. Once they arrived, they took my keys, took it to the shop for me and brought my keys inside for the shop to get started. Thanks!

Went back because of there great quality work, got let down
My car sat there for 1 month without any parts being ordered or any work being done, no one knew if parts were ordered or what was going on, when i went to take my car from there and bring it to another body shop that will get it done they became very hostile and aggressive,
Do NOT give these guys the time of day
Again the car sat for 1 month and nothing got done at all
There was no reason that nothing got done and there was no reason to get hostile when you had multiple chances to get it done
