When I first started going here, about 8 years ago, it was the best outlet store I had ever gone to. Within 3 years it had changed drastically. They no longer had a huge selection of all my favorite items, the dairy, frozen foods, canned good - everything that was worth buying was no longer stocked. The sales on meat products - gone.
I just stopped coming as there was so little to buy. I used to fill my grocery cart to overflowing, sometimes filling 2 carts, but when it got to where I couldn't even fill one cart 1/4 full, I stopped going.
What a shame! Used to be my favorite place to shop.
Great place to find bargains, but watch the prices. Some things are not that great of a deal. A lot of it is short dates, but still good, or damaged boxes or cans, no boxes…still a good place to check out.
Interesting place to check out, friend told me about this place about 5 years ago I guess they really had good deals back then but most of this stuff is about the same prices in grocery stores
Fun market with unusual stuff. Friendly, helpful people work there. You can get weird candy, interesting flavors. They've also got a warehouse of household goods and they sell things at auction. Good selection of plant-based protein.
Hidden gem, salvage grocery where you can pick up fruits, vegetables, meat, dry goods and household staples like pasta and rice. They even have small sections for kid toys, tools, over the counter supplements, office supplies, etc.
Check this place out before you go to the store, you could find what you need for less!
The best market for discounted grocery items. It changes weekly, so if you like something, grab it! It might not be stocked the next time you go back. Some items are close to expiring and need to be consumed within a few days, others, like juices, frozen goods, etc., might have damaged caps or boxes, but the food is still sealed and edible. All of the food I've seen has come from Costco, BJ's, Whole Foods, Big Y, Stop & Shop, and others, and there are many name brand items. I appreciate that there is a local place like this that sells these items instead of throwing them away. It is nice to know that they make an effort to try and re-sell the items that, in other cases, may go directly to a landfill. Check out their Facebook page where they post frequently of new items that hit the shelves.

Great place to get discounted overstock/going out of date soon grocery products from stores all around the area. Highly recommend if you want to find good deals. Just remember that they do not always have the same items. It all depends on what they get from other stores. Check their Facebook page for what is new in stock. They also have a little room for random non food items. It's kind of like a little thrift room.
I don’t understand why they call themselves a discount store when I’ve found the same products in various supermarkets for a lower price. If the expiration dates are approaching, actually be cheaper.
This is the 2nd Outlet place I've been to. The Southington location is a bigger and more organized than the Canton location. Excellent selection, fair prices and the staff are super friendly and great to talk to. Also kid approved lol.
Products and prices are hit or miss. You have to stop by frequently because the stock is always revolving.
That being said you can find some really great deals compared to local grocery and retail stores so it's definitely worth checking out.
This store had a lot of good that are close to the bestbuy date and some that have longer dates, there’s always a good variety to be found at a good price. It’s worth going there especially now with the prices of food going up. I have no complaints at all and will continue to go there.
This is a great little place they have an ever-changing stock the prices are extremely reasonable and granted it's not always new packaging or nice pretty stuff but that's the whole purpose of this place it's to save things from being destroyed an offer good prices sometimes the merchandise boxes may be damaged but sometimes they're not they have a really awesome selection of unusual items at times and unusual cereals some weird stuff that other places don't. They carry things from restaurants so the packaging is large they sometimes break it down into smaller containers don't go in expecting a regular grocery store experience because it's not it's a very small compared to our usual grocery stores but they have awesome prices on ice cream this week was only $2 normally those things on sale are at least $4 sometimes 6 on sale depending upon the ice cream and if they have a lot of stuff will just lower the prices to ridiculous levels some of that ice cream that I saw in the fridge on sale normally goes for $4 to five on sale they had talenti brand for only 2 dollars
Their times are limited and their aisles are small so if you're trying to practice social distancing it can be a little challenging especially since most people don't pay attention bring your own bags of course and sometimes you will find things that you just want to try for the heck of it hope you enjoy and try it out it's never the same experience twice
They have also added a really cool discount basically junk room it's not junk though it's all new stuff but unusual odds-and-ends like water filters or chicken waterers sometimes they have beds for pets and aquarium supplies it's just the hodgepodge of different things really cool to pick through and they're half off which is even better also don't forget to sign up for their discount Club because 10 bucks is fabulous when they give you the discounts and it's not that hard to get to that level and they give away free stuff if you purchase certain amounts at times I've been getting free baggies of the peanut butter and jelly bites that are frozen at Whole Foods these go for I think $8 and I'm getting them for nothing and then I got $10 off fabulous enjoy it and it's definitely an experience
I just started working at the warehouse in the back and this store is great. I can walk in and buy a Gatorade for like 75¢. It’s literally a hidden gem too. First time I went in here I was shocked to see that it was a little grocery store. Looking from the outside you’d never be able to tell it’s a supermarket. I can imagine hundreds of people pass by here everyday thinking it’s just some random building.
I enjoy popping in a couple of times per week. You never know what you will find so it’s like a treasure hunt. If you know the sale and regular price for items you usually buy, you’ll see the larger discounts right away. I find that most of their prices are sale prices if not better than in other stores. Since I know the price of our usual grocery items I can tell right away if I should pick an item up or wait for my regular store sale because that price would be better. Always check the expiration dates. I’ve gotten burned a few times on that which is why I took off a star. Staff is always friendly and I’ve tried many items I would not have tried in the past since prices are reasonable. If you have kids eating through your fridge quickly or like to stock your freezer/pantry I recommend checking this place out.
I always make monthly visits to pick up affordable vegan meat substitutes, produce and to just browse any awesome sales they have!
Definitely like them on Facebook to see some of their best deals posted. We live about an hour away so we can't get to the deals in time usually and recently a staff member told us one the managers post on facebook things go quick!
The Outlet is worth a visit even if you're not too sure what's available, there's always a good find and great deals either way!
Prices are almost the same as grocery stores. You will get lucky and find some deals. Becareful of frozen foods. Tastes like it's been in thawed and refrozen. Freezer burnt. Alot of expired goods. Watch the prices though.
Swell place to pick up some groceries at an exceptional discount! They're a smaller place that's usually not too busy which is enjoyable. I believe the products are typically overstock from other stores which is where the low prices originate from. While not always a one stop shop, I'll swing by once in a while to check out what they have in stock. Often a great selection including vegan/vegetarian options. Every visit is an adventure! :)
The outlet is one of my favorite places to shop! They always have a unique variety at fantastic prices, and oddly enough keep a good supply of gluten-free and vegan/vegetarian options ?
Not only are they super organized and have the best deals , they also have amazing trustworthy employees. One day while shopping there I forgot my wallet inside and two gentlemen rushed outside to hand it back to me with everything inside of it. This is why I love this place and will surely always be back! Thank you guys !!
A hidden spot for great deals on food staples and unique high end food items. Worth your time to stop in and check out. Try their house blend ground coffee roasted right in Southington CT. The staff is polite and gracious. Currently the only place I know where the locally created Vortexman comics can be found.
Good deals on various food items. Hit or miss regarding variety of items depending on supply. Would recommend a visit. Gluten free available at reasonable prices but again hit or miss. I like to stop in at least weekly New items daily.
Love this place. Gotta grab items when you see them, cuz they'll be gone on your next visit. Check dates and you'll be fine. Prices are super on most things.
The outlet always has something unexpected. Fresh vegetables, fruit, frozen foods, dry goods, cookies, vegan, gluten free items. I love Raos jar sauce. Normally $8.99. the outlet has it for $4.15. not all the flavors all the time but that's what makes it fun.
I do like the store, all employee's are extremely helpful, courteous and attentive. A good majority of stock is at a much cheaper price. There are some products that seem to be higher. Overall its worth going to!
Great place to find discounted food and household items. Great place to browse for deals. The aisles are a little snug, just fyi. They also have a small refrigerated selection of fresh produce and dairy items. Fun to see what you can find.
