Recommended to me by a friend. I needed my brakes checked. Called and made an appt. They checked them and fixed them in about 2 hrs. To top it off, Raj offered to take me home and then came back to get me when my car was ready. They are very nice and very accommodating. Will definitely recommend and use them in the future!

Roy and the gang in New Britain were excellent. I have come to trust them with my vehicle because they always do a thorough job and my grandson is riding on these wheels so I have to be able to trust my mechanic. The prices are a bit high but I think what they do above and beyond the service compensates for that.

Drove a half hour out of my way to work with Roy. Made appt, 3 jobs done in 2 hrs. 2 new break and rotors, belt update, and a cut and replace with universal part on exhaust. Saved 1300$ on a new exhaust system, good price on belt and brakes on my VW. I shudder to think what muffler man or VW in enfield would have charged. Thx Roy!! Brought my truck in had major exhaust problems manifolds cracked bolts broken off inside engine. Roy gave me a price pretty quick. I told him to go ahead and take care of it for me. I thought he was gonna have my truck for four or five days seeing that I had the manifold done when I first bought the truck and the mechanic had the truck for five days I was very surprised when Roy called me by 2:30 the next day saying my truck was ready. Absolutely incredible service never had anybody work on my vehicle with such a fast turnaround. And my truck sounds absolutely quiet. It’s quieter now than it ever has been since I’ve gotten it two thumbs up across the board very friendly and personable. I recommend to everybody that needs their vehicles fixed.

Over the past year, they have gone above and beyond to keep my vehicle safe and reliable. Last year they replaced my engine, and this year they’ve continued to take excellent care of me with HVAC repairs, tires, an oil change, and an alignment. Every visit has reinforced my trust in their work.
What truly sets them apart is their honesty, professionalism, and proficiency. They take the time to explain what’s needed, never push unnecessary services, and consistently deliver quality work. It’s rare to find an auto shop you can trust completely, and this team has earned that trust.

I had an appointment here as my third stop to compare pricing. When I arrived, I clearly explained the issue and provided the exact trouble codes. I did not request a diagnostic.
An employee told me Roy wasn’t in yet and said that before he arrived that he himself would only confirm the codes—nothing more. I agreed to that.
Roy came in about 10 minutes later and told me exactly what I already knew, then added that I also needed a new battery. This was surprising, considering two other shops and AutoZone had already confirmed the battery was fine. Which made me laugh.
When I was finally given a price, it was double what the other shops quoted (and that’s without the unnecessary battery). I declined the work.
Only then was I told I needed to pay a diagnostic fee. I questioned this, since I never asked for a diagnostic, nothing was disclosed upfront, no pricing was discussed, and no work was approved. When I asked for clarification, Roy struggled to explain and gave an inconsistent answer. This was like there last ditch effort to pull any sort of money out of me.
As a man who works on his car himself, I feel it’s important to share this experience. Since i know for a fact if i was a woman i would have probably been taken for much more than just a battery.Be cautious with this shop—they perform work without permission, attempt to upsell unnecessary repairs, and then try to charge for it. Charging double the going rate is unreasonable.
Terrible experience. Took 35 minutes after our appointment time for them to even acknowledge that we were sitting there. Then we were quoted a price that “included” labor and when it came time to pay they charged us the quoted amount plus $300 for 2 hours of labor when they only worked on the car for an hour. Lame. Terrible business practices and I would steer everyone clear of ever going there.
Wasn’t told the price for labor ahead of time. Went in expecting not to pay nearly as much as I did considering my car is a 2005 and I’d provided most parts needed for the maintenance I requested, just had to buy one part from them... if I’d known it was $150/hr for labor I’d have gone literally anywhere else. Two stars because the staff was great and as was the work done, but the cost is atrocious and needs to be communicated ahead of time. What if I didn’t have the money needed to fix my car??? Especially considering when my male cousin had called ahead of time he’d been told one price only for them to completely screw me over when I’d shown up completely female and without a guy to make sure I wasn’t getting taken advantage of!
I made an appointment with Roy to replace the muffler that had a hole in it. He did the repair and was very fair with his pricing. I would recommend his establishment to anyone that needs exhaust repair for their vehicles.

Very professional and nice people working at Meineke Car Care Center. They did Oil change, took care of the brakes and rotors, also figured out what's going on with the coolant leak. Thank you very much!
Went there for specific requests and they kept trying to talk me into getting more things done. Made it seem like I had very bad parts on my car just so they can add more money on the bill. After getting all my brakes and rotors done I still feel like my car needs brakes and rotors. Going somewhere else to car looked at
Midas was ok the father was on vacation who manages store . The son was temporarily working in his place . Oil change took 90 minutes too long but they did ok . Other females in store were complaining regular mgr was not there
Best place around to get your car fixed. Roy the owner is very honest and took very good care of us. Roy and his team are the only mechanics I will let touch my vehicles. I highly recommend Meineke in New Britain
Blew out a caliper on my truck. Took it o Firestone, and they refused to repair it. Drove it to Meineke, and Roy and his crew were amazing. They got me turned around under 12 hours, for a repair that should have taken much longer. Professional and honest!
I had the whole exhaust system replaced on my car. It was crazy expensive for the parts. Now I have to readjust one wiper arm and buy two more exhaust tips and get them put on.
The manager Roy goes out of his way to make the repair work convenient. Roy drives me to my home and gives me a ride back to Meineke when the work is done. My last visit was "spur of the moment ", and yet, the job was booked promptly and within just a few hours, completed. I appreciated being squeezed into their already busy day.
Recently I needed a break service on my truck, so after some research online i decided to take it to this location. I am so happy i did. These guys were knowledgeable, professional and showed a genuine concern for what i needed. The cost was not expensive but average for the type of service i needed. I am very impressed with their work and customer service. I do recommend this shop for your automotive needs you will need regret it.

The manager was very patient in explaining what the problem was . He gave me a ride back home and offered to pick me up as well when the job was done. The mechanics were also very friendly and experienced. The job was completed at the estimated time and I never had issues with my car again. I would recommend Meineke anytime any day!!..
