went for oil change and diagnostic they did a feul additive for whatever reason and 800 plus later drove it out went to our mechanic after their quotes of4600 gonna get done at 1/4 the price
What an amazing experience at this dealership me and my husband had with an experienced and knowledgeable staff they have working there! We bought a truck here and we were helped by Xhoel, and let me tell you how smooth and quick the whole process was. Xhoel took care of everything for us and even though it was past business time he managed to get everything done and ready to go the same day! Wow! We just bought a vehicle here and I was impressed with every point of contact we had. And due to this being a dealership I was expecting the typical dealership “sales pitch and arrogance.” Gallagher staff was not like this at all. They were professional, straight forward, respectful and not pushy. We purchased a 2015 vehicle and after having the car for six days a light came on in the dash area. I texted Brandon- the sales person- and he scheduled an appointment for me- we dropped the car off for the fix and picked it up without a charge for the repair. Under warranty- just like they said- and no “hidden costs!” - imagine that! We will definitely do business here again.
Brandon was the absolute man. Came through with excellent customer service, awesome knowledge of the vehicles and options and a calm, quiet presence that made the entire experience feel very low pressure and welcoming.

I am a female and i went alone to do my car shopping. I ended up ordereing a 2026 Acadia Elevation at Gallagher in May. I worked with a very bright sales woman first name Andrea. I had alot of questions about this vehicle and she easily answered them without over explaining. She held a perfect balance with her answers that matched my working knowledge and we communicated very well together, and I was well pleased and confident Andrea heard every thing I said and commented about. I went a few times for test drives and each time Andrea welcomed me and was a gracious pleasant professional. She worked with me at my pace and never made me feel pressured into a serious minded decision. She allowed me to work with her at my pace and this was truely professionalism at its finest. I would really encourage anyone to Go to the Gallagher dealership and ask for Andrea... mention Jessse sent you.
I am disputing with the dealership that my 2024 GMC Sierra 2506.6 L gas engine is burning oil. And there is no disagreement that it is burning Oil, however the dealership/manufacturer/Gmc states that their engines can burn up to 1 quart per thousand miles. That’s within reasonable manufacturing guidelines. I never heard such a thing that a brand new engine burns oil hence they call consumes oil. The manufacturing determines the quality of the bill by doing a consumption test in which they have found and discovered that the engine does burn oil however it’s within reasonable measure, but I argue with the service department at Gallagher Buick/GMC in New Britain, Connecticut because it is an observational test no statistical whoever decides to check the oil level And pours in oil determines how much it has burned/consumed. Keep you posted with what Gmc determines with the test test?
Had a check engine light on, I told them that the oil pin plug came out and needed oil put back in. The codes were never pulled, the oil pin plug and oil was put back in. They said the main fuse was replaced. I was charged $322.00 in labor fees, and the codes weren't pulled. The check engine light came back on right after I left, I called the office and they said bring it back in to be scanned. Shouldn't that have been done the first time? For $445.00, I got a plug, oil, fuse replaced and no codes pulled and no disclosure to the fact that I need a new coolant pump. But yet, $322.00 in labor fees. I was told they spent hours diagnosing it and this was somehow missed and also it took them 3 days to even look at it.
Our initial experience was typical car sales back and forth on new vehicle price and value of our trade in, but the staff at Gallagher was willing to work with us to get to where we needed to be to make the deal work for us. Our sales consultant (Andrea) was extremely courteous, respectful and very knowledgeable on the vehicle and was able to answer all our questions. We weren't local and had an hour drive to the dealer, so we weren't able to finalize the deal in one trip, but with Andrea's assistance, we worked with Ty the dealer finance manager to coordinate the remainder of the process via phone and computer, so that on day of pickup everything went smoothly. When we picked up the vehicle there were no surprises and everything went well. Once all the paperwork was completed Andrea sat with us in the vehicle for over an hour or more to go over all the features, helped set up the GMC app, connect our phones to the vehicle and ensure we were comfortable with everything, had no questions or concerns and if we did have any question in the future to feel free to contact her. This was very reassuring, helpful and appreciated! I would also like to acknowledge one of the sales managers Jamie, he went out of his way to ensure we were happy and satisfied with everything! I would recommend this dealer to anyone in the market for a New or Pre-Owned vehicle.
I don’t typically write reviews, and when I do, they are usually positive. However, I feel compelled to share my experience due to the exceptional frustration and disappointment I encountered with the service department at this facility.
I brought my vehicle in three separate times for the same issue, repeatedly explaining that I believed the problem was electrical in nature. Despite this, the team first replaced a sensor and then the thermostat, neither of which addressed the core issue. To make matters worse, I was misinformed about parts being ordered proactively, only to find out they had not been.
The situation escalated when, during a test drive on the third attempt, the vehicle was involved in an accident. I received a call informing me of the incident, and when I arrived to inspect the car, I was told it was “next to the dumpster where it belongs” by an employee at the service desk.
The service department had my car for over a week before I had to follow up for an update, and then another week passed with no progress while they awaited a police report. Without my consent, they began repairs on the car, which had already been in their possession for two weeks. The final cost of damages amounted to $14,000.
When I finally received my vehicle, after a month it was not even brought to the front despite the cold and windy conditions. I had to inquire about its location before the staff made arrangements to retrieve it. When I asked if the original issue had been resolved, I was informed that it was indeed an electrical problem, as I had originally suggested.
This experience represents, by far, the worst customer service I have ever encountered. Not to mention the now depresciated value of my vehicle.
I setup an appointment beforehand with Andrea which I gave her specifics as to what type of truck I was interested in. Within minutes she responded back with 3 in stock trucks that met my criteria and were available to see/test drive on the lot. When I arrived for the appointment, she was extremely courteous and made sure myself and family (wife and 2 sons) were comfortable. After viewing the trucks, I took 1 for a test drive and fell in love with it. I ended up buying this truck and I'll say the time spent at the dealership was great! Andrea walked me through all the bells and whistles of the new truck and made sure I was confident with all its features. The finance manager Ty was awesome too! Great side conversations with myself, wife and my 2 sons, talking about basketball and other things in life. The experience went by so fast that it didn't feel like that dragged out dealership feel. Everything went great and I would highly recommend Gallagher GMC in New Britain! Also, i will be going there for any maintenance, oil changes, accessories, etc. Great crew!
Mike’s team here at Gallagher GMC is top notch. If you are looking to buy a vehicle, this is the place to do so. I called on a Monday morning with a very specific vehicle with specs exactly how I wanted. They were able to source the vehicle, inspect it, detail it, & get all paperwork done for me to drive out of the lot on that following Wednesday. (48 hours) Mike, Andrea, & Ty were extremely communicative & a pleasure to work with as well. They have definitely won a customer out of me who will be looking to purchase more fleet vehicles in the future. Surely looking forward to more awesome experiences here at Gallagher GMC. My old 2006 junker was on the fritz and I needed a safe reliable car fast. I had an excellent experience buying my used Ford Escape from Amanda. She helped me through the overwhelming process of choosing a vehicle and even spent time going through all the new technology inside these newer vehicles because it was all new to me!! They were patient as I shopped around and did my research and when I’d finally made my decision Ty in the finance department went above and beyond to help find me the absolute best rate that worked with my finances. Everyone in the office was extremely kind and knowledgeable. Jamie assured me of the care the company takes to ensure a used car is ready for a second long life with a new owner and Andrea informed me in detail of the differences between Volkswagen vehicles as she has trusted and driven them for many years herself. How disappointing today with this company!! I followed protocol, everything on my end was complete. All I needed was a diagnose and it wasn’t done, I honestly believe that they didn’t even take the time to try. If the front desk customer representative would have shown some compassion or at-least apologized for the inconvenience, I would have definitely kept my business with them.
I reached out to the manager and I’m still waiting on his call….
Things can always be worked out, but someone has to try…
Awesome experience, Jose was great. The way he greeted me once I entered and made me feel welcome and right alway had me feel comfortable and offered bottled water. The truck I wanted was sold but Jose made me feel like the GMC Canyon Denali was for me. I will recommend 100% Jose Muniz he is bilingual and has your back if you feel like you need time. Does not pressure you to take decisions right away.
