Then Dosent Even Give You That! Just Work Please Too Much Chatting
Easy in and out. Polite staff. Detailed receipt listing all scrapped metal types and weights. You're better off breaking things down but they just paid me $0.15/lb for assembled fixtures.

Until they saw my old man smoking a little pot and proceeded to tell him he's high enough and can wait for the small scale. Literally let 3 people go in front of him . crazy considering 1 of the owners is a full on pot head.
I called AB to get part for my car. I called them numerous times to make sure it was the right part, I even called enroute to ask if it would fit in my car. Everyone said it's the parts out and ready to go. I arrived about 30 minutes later and was told PART WAS NO GOOD, I don't appreciate being LIED TO. And then the person lied to my FACE.AVOID THIS PLACE
The guys at the scrap yard think everyone’s a junky and want to treat you like dirt !! The guys were mad yelling at me cause I got there at 4 but gates were open and no sign up and to remind you hadn’t been here since before pandemic i don’t know the hours anyway big guy thought he could intimidate ppl cause he’s big listen man someone’s going to get hurt in that yard if theirs no respect to ppl bringing in scrap mark my words something bad is going to happen if this man don’t talk with respect towards ppl he’s going to get his head ripped off
This place is like my extended family when I bring Scrap in don't feel like I got ripped off. You really feel comfortable from the moment you are greeted.
They are always quick to lend a helping hand. If they don't have what you need the usually take the time to try to help you find what you're looking for they have such great staff here and they're open at a reasonable time. So if you're looking for auto parts this is a great place to go this place usually never has a wait. I give a five stars to A & B Auto Salvage thanks guys for the help
A very good place..I compared prices and they are always at the top, plus very helpful crew and professional. The only place I bring my scrap. ps...the place in Manchester is CHEEEEEEAP!
When I first started scrap metal recycling, I called around different places. Some of them had low payouts compared to the average rates. Some scrap yards that paid fair still sounded unprofessional on the phone. Not the case with A&B. The payouts are fair, the staff are respectful and even explain things when you're new to the game.
They nickel and dime you for scrap... City Auto in Hartford rounds up whereas this place gives you it down to the penny. If I wanted change I would cash cans...
Called in regards to Employee Benefits and was hung up on. Very rude. Not the way to treat someone especially when you're working under your business name.
Called before hand to verify if they had batteries for my car, they didn’t ask me the type of car I had or any details to help specify the type of battery I needed. When I got there they gave me any battery they just happen to have laying around. Didn’t test it in front of me or anything. Showed them my old battery and the guy said “this ones a little bigger but it should fit” although it did fit (barely) the battery was not charged at all when I tried it on my car. Why sell me a battery that doesn’t work. Waste of time, gas, and patients! Never again.
I have been recycling for many years. This is the place that treats you right. They help you sort your treasures to get the most value and help educate you on how to get the most. Always provides answers to my many questions.

Easy to find and their site was accurate for the part I was looking for. The guy that answered the phone even sent me photos of the two they had so that I could verify the color of the 2 parts they had. I was able to get a replacement mirror that matched my car.
They took the part off the old car for me before I even got to the shop. I was in and out in 5 minutes and they even let me borrow a star driver for a few minutes.
