I can not say enough how truly amazing these ppl are. I brought my car in to be looked at which turned out to be front break pads and rotors, I unfortunately could not afford it at the moment and to my surprise when I went to pick my car up they put new pads on it when I asked to pay for at least that they said don't worry about it he couldn't consciously let me take it with as bad as they were. Again I offered to pay for something and again he said absolutely not. I will 100% recommend to everyone i know and will they will be my shop. Absolutely amazing ppl
The people in the office and the shop are very kind. I had a problem with paperwork and they went above and beyond to help me get my car out of the lot. Also when my car was getting towed they actually came pretty quickly usually I've had other tow companies take 30+ minutes.
I would have written this earlier, but I'm still waiting for owner to call me. Randy stated he will. On about 4/15 my truck was towed to Tolland Automotive Ent. from I-84 tow bill paid. I instructed them that my clutch went out. It was inoperable and could not move. I left my truck and waited for a check and advise. On 6/4 Larry called me. The estimate was $5300 to replace clutch. I stated the estimate was outrageously high and I will come pick up truck. Was informed I had until 6/7 to retrieve it or recurring storage fees will be added. Informed them I can make it by Monday 6/10. I live in Georgia. 6/10 I arrive. Check and Advise was $730. Batteries was dead and truck was inoperable. Had to be towed 50 feet from yard to shop bay and back. Been there since 4/15. Clutch need to be replaced. Wrecker was dispatched to piggyback deck to my fifth wheel. Truck was turned around and lifted onto fifth wheel. Wrecker driver will not secure deck or remove tires because he don't want to be liable, if I was to hit a bridge. My height was 14' 6" (see pictures) To be lifted and nothing else, $744.45, because he didn't want to be liable. Off the ala carte menu I was was charged an additional $239.29 to remove my axles. Which did not include a piece of cardboard to stop the oil from flowing out the axles. (See pictures). At 4:30 pm I was asked to leave the property because they was closing. I gingerly exited their property to the public road spewing oil from my axles. The wrecker driver, did return about an hour later to tell me he'll put the axle seal on for an additional $110. I declined, because I already had called for another road service to secure the truck to fifth wheel and remove tires. But, he insisted and put on the seals. I ended up having the second road service guy, after removing tires and securing, just escort me to Freightliner. I didn't want to hit any bridges going back to GA. 6/11 The gentlemen at D&L Auto Body and Towing put me back on the ground and replaced my tires. For $212.70. The estimate to replace my clutch, at Freightliner was $3500. Theirs was $5300!!!!! I went back to talk to Larry. But, he never came out of the bathroom, I guess. I am also posting this to Axle and Spindle Truck Repair. In my opinion they lack integrity and professionalism. I am just a truck driver. I did not know that you cannot piggyback 2 condo tractors.
It’s an okay shop but DO NOT leave your vehicle unlocked at their facility. Someone stole my toolbox with over $1000. worth of tools. They claim to have cameras but supposedly didn’t see anything on cameras. Stay away.
Been a customer of Tolland Auto for YEARS and never have any complaints, the mechanics there even went to the extra effort of MAKING a part for my mom's older vehicle. How awesome is that?! And they never charge an arm and a leg, always affordable and have a fantastic staff. I will always continue to service my vehicles with Tolland Auto.
Cash only??? In 2023??? Sounds like a scam to me. They charged me $525 to tow from Glastonbury to Bloomfield. They arent up front about being cash only then threaten to take ur vehicle to their shop if you dont have cash. The guy said its a state law cash only. This is a scamming place. No way thats true. If this isn’t true then FIRE BRIAN bc hes scamming your customers. Wouldve had someone eise tow if i knew it was cash only. Went from 335 to 522 because he waited for me to get cash and they charged while he waited. Then had to go back to the ATM bc he raised the price over $200. They deal in the business of stress and take advantage of you. I urge you to have someone else tow your vehicles.
This towing company act like thugs they think they can control your property and overcharge you for storages I believe they're also racist tolland towing needs to get investigated by the Better Business Bureau. I will never do business again with this Towing Company. This business should get shut down..

Who ever the Tolland Automotive driver was driving the flat bed truck should be terminated immediately! Screaming and swearing at my wife because she is in her lane to leave and he cannot fit the truck in the tight parking lot. There is no need for this! Until they can address their drivers to try and be professional, do not do business with them!
ask for LARRY! I had a great experience with him. He was very straight forward, There was no price change. He communicated with me the whole time my car was there. Before he replaced things he asked, gave me the prices, and it was my choice to do or not to. There was no hidden or jacked up price when I picked up my car. The car runs great! New engine, has a 2 year warrantee. Very satisfied customer.
Truck broke down on I-91 near Wallingford and the mechanic came out in a timely fashion and changed fuel filters and added fuel but truck still would not draw from both tanks. Did what could be done on side of the road but finally needed to call tow truck. Heavy tow truck arrived and after risking life and limb to get tractor trailer hooked up we finally got under way and to tow yard .Great service and I don't know how these guys do what they do on the side of the toad. Amazing.
Unlawfully towed my car from my apartment complex because my parking permit fell off from my window. They took horrible pictures from a far in order to "be in the right" and steal my car. The sticker was visible on the front dashboard, if they had taken a picture closer they would've seen the parking permit. I'm trying to get a refund from this towing company because they're completely trash.
This place just tries to milk you for your money. And does not care about your car when in their possession. They boxed mine in between four other cars that were literally touching mine. They were friendly though.
They do quick money with many businesses around. I Parked my semi truck in the back of Manchester plaza by Chineese Royal Buffet and Grill at address: 410 Middle Turnpike W, Manchester, CT 06040. Because didn't see even single sign about "no truck parking". Went to use buffet for 1hr and got truck towed by Tolland Automotive Enterprises and had to pay 467$ to get it back after 1hr. So be noted they do business on their yard make not posted about truck parking and will tow it away real quick while you are away

You guys like towing cars that are legally parked eh? Towed my legally parked car from the legal lot where I pay rent every month for almost 3 years...you guys are legit disgusting people. And yes, I had the parking pass in plain view.
They towed my car today and Luis was helpful and the price was better than others I had called. He came quickly and the service was great. would definitely recommend.
These guys are great! I was in a real jam and larry ensured that he got me in and took care of me. You need a great mechanic or a tow? I'm giving them one star because they towed my car with my parking decal on it. I showed them proof that I live here and that parking space is on my name. They still didnt released my car. They weren't at fault, it was the property manager was gave them a list with a missing page, but they should have just released my car when I showed them proof. Jake is a cool dude
They driver purposely towed my car first because of the snow even though I was right outside my car about to clean it off to move it. He hooked my car up in drove off all while I was standing right by my car.
Reasonably priced, very personable, they keep you informed...just feel good when you leave, like you've NOT been ripped-off. Been going there with our family's 3 cars for ~5 years and will keep going.
Very satisfied with this service. My car broke down on I-84 & I googled towing services. This company was out within 30 minutes & towed me & my car to Watertown, CT. They took my AARP roadside assistance as well. They made a bad situation so much better. Jake was the tow driver & he was friendly and very efficient.
