Went there because I have a Vevor 51v 100ah lithium battery . When I ask the employee what I was look for . He said we dont work on those . Then I looked around just dont match the commercial. The place is an old damp car repair garage . Not a battery in sight . Where was the battery showroom . As for the employee. You would have thought I ask him about diamond cutting . You would thought they had 5 employees at all times . They dont have 5 available parking spots . You can't stop and park on that street . If there's no parking slot you would have to keep on driving .
I’ve been a positive battery twice and have loved their service they always get me in and I have pretty much every battery you can imagine on the planet it’s almost like going to a battery museum it’s great check it out you’ll never be sorry. Just to add I just now finished another battery. Replacement with a positive battery a great place great customer service friendly always in and out very quickly. Great prices so if you haven’t yet tried it and you got a battery. You gotta try them out and while you’re there, check out the battery museum it won’t be sorry.
I have been a customer of Positive Battery for over 10 years. The owner and staff are all very nice and I have never had any issues until this week. I bought an ATV battery 10 months ago, which has now stopped working. They wanted to charge me $3.00 to charge it. After the charge it was confirmed to be dead. He told me it only had a 6 month warranty and I was out of luck. I brought my receipt back the following week and showed him it says “New batteries 1st year free replacement.” It then says: “RC batteries 6 months.” He told me he also meant to write on the receipt that motorcycle/ATV batteries are only 6 months. However, he did not and still would not warranty the defective battery. I’ll never return there and will let others know.
Arrived from Hartford around 9:30am, had a new battery and was back home by 10am. EVERYTHING went smoothly and great pricing for new and/or used removal and installation. Battery also came with a 6 month warranty! Thank You positive battery
This place is a rip off sells junks batteries that poeples scrape came there with 16000 pounds of battery’s he ripped me off payed me 335 dollars and then got rude attitude I reported him to BBB
Great service, professional staff very knowledgeable. They checked my battery before.I purchased a new 2 make sure I didn't need one And sure enough, the voltage on the battery showed very low, so it definitely needs a new battery. So I got one refurbish pushes out the same amount as a brand new battery but for half the price. I paid 65 bucks for a furbish battery.
Where I would have spent over a $150 for a brand new one. Definitely. Check this place out, guys bring them your old battery and get a new one.
And I said, the staff was very knowledgeable. Quick service, pull your car into the garage. They test it and then change it right there. No way

I bought a battery from this place months ago and it died. At the time the associate said the battery has a 6 month warranty, but the cell died at almost the 6 month window. The owner would not replace or return the battery Insisting I show a receipt even though it shows in the system I bought it and the battery date was marked. I would not waste your time here and spend the money on a battery at a reputable business. The owner and staff have bad attitudes as well. I will never do business or refer anyone to this place again.
Sold me a bad battery. Would not honor warranty because my wife threw away my receipt. Been going to this place for years but I can no longer recommend. I should have returned the battery right away because when I got home and inspected it the lead terminals were in complete disrepair. Save yourself the hassle and just buy a new battery from a respectable supplier. I'm updating this review based on the establishments response which contains lies about the situation. I did not refuse to bring the battery back in I was never even offered this option. I was simply told that they would not honor warranty without a receipt despite having my sale receipt and information in their system. Please do not use this establishment go somewhere else and save yourself the trouble

Gave me the wrong battery for my prius.
The battery exploded.these people have no idea what they are doing had it towed to Toyota for the RIGHT battery,new fusebox and rewiring.$150 battery cost me $1500.I asked for my money back they were so rude with me and Toyota.They don't deserve business.then have the audacity to tell me it was my fault,that it was for a different car.
The post on my Trojan t105 battery cracked off due to excessive pressure on it and these guys fixed it quickly for a fraction of the price I would have paid for a new one. A really nice job, and I'm very happy.
They are not so nice. Today first snow one of their vans threw ice and snow all over my NEW CAR 2020 Caddy. . I called the store the OWNER was so nasty to me. Not good business.
I deliver batteries for a living. So I have seen a lot of battery businesses. These people are the best in Central and Northern Connecticut. They are informative, friendly, they won't take advantage of you, but help you figure out the battery you need and install for you. Two thumbs up. BTW if you want to save some money on a reconditioned battery then these are the guys to see.
WARNING DO NOT GET NO BATTERIES HERE. I got 3 to 4 batteries from him every 6 months to a 1 year the battery never lasts 5 years. And the only reason I went to him is because he is cheaper and but people his batteries is not worth it you will be stranded in the streets so you better hope you got road side assistance and if you don't you will be paying out of pocket. DO NOT GET BATTERIES HERE.

Recommend by a friend and I’m glad she did . Great and quick service, I was in and out in less than 30 mins ! They were able to help me get a new battery in my car for a reasonable price in comparison to other places like Auto Zone etc.
Good place to go for your battery installation. nice people there and they give you money for your old battery. yes people it's true if you bring them old scrap battery they will give you money for it

They replaced my car battery and gave me an additional piece of advice about my engine. Total price of used battery plus no additional installation fee (since my battery was easily accessible) came to less than $60, which was affordable for me. I was pleased with the quick service. (It maybe took 20 minutes from pulling up and parking to being sent on my way with the replacement battery installed.)
I would have given this place a 4-star rating if not for the fact that everyone was obliging, but not particularly friendly (except for maybe one staff member), and for the fact that not a one of them wore a mask or had any social distancing markers on the office floor. Was glad to get what I needed, but disappointed that consideration for the health and safety of the customers did not appear to be their first priority.
Ned, and his staff are by far the most amazing when it comes to Customer Care. They get you in and out in minutes and make sure you are not paying anything close to what the stores are charging. This operation is simple small and it works. Ive personally watched this business grow into what it is today. Any kind of battery you might need Positive Battery will have it. They offer a recycle program as well.
I showed up at 4:45 and they close at 5. I asked them if they had a battery for my Subaru Forester, I asked them if you do do you have enough time to install it. Their reply was absolutely!! It did the job in 10 minutes works perfectly.
