Unfortunately this company came recommended but that person ain’t know how bad it got over there bc how I needed a tow 2 times n these ppl could not help me once!? How is y’all in Hartford (THE CAPITAL OF CT) but only have ONE DAMN TOW OPERATOR N I SWEAR THIS NINJA THE DAMN OFFICE LADY 2 bc ain’t no way. I needed help twice n was told they only got 1 person working n was busy. Nope. Don’t spend y’all’s money here
Guy on the phone was nasty to me and has ZERO customer service. I had taken an uber there THREE times during business hours on 3 different days 10:15-am, 1 and 1:45pm and NO ONE was in the office- DOOR LOCKED! I call and the same man picks up and says he’s on the road and I need to come back an another time! Is there no office staff? The same driver who towed my car shows up on the fourth day and unlocks the door, tells me cash only and is apparently the secretary as well because he answered about 3 phone calls before aggravatingly taking care of me. Awful experience 10/10 do not recommend.
Had my car towed to Cromwell, CT. Tow driver was incredibly rude and apparently is the secretary and manager as well? He was swearing and complaining while unloading my vehicle which I heard on my home security camera and had the nerve to text my phone number asking for a google review- here it is! He did not even wait for me to be there to drop my vehicle off. Seems like this company is being run by one person- very odd. Will not use again.
They are awesome! They came quickly and got my car with no issues I was able to schedule the Fri before!!! These my new tow people!!! Call them!! Shout out to Cara and John who were awesome!

I don't have little accidents often but, when I do, I make sure to take out both doors and the rocker panel! THANK YOU to Dominick and Metro Auto Body & Towing Inc. in Hartford for the excellent and super quick repair work. They took care of me without having to replace the doors. They even re-pinstriped both sides of the car and removed the cloudy buildup in my headlights! Amazing, professional and pristine work! You have gained another grateful customer for life!
This review is 4 days late due to many failed login attempts ~ but babbyyyyy I made sure to get here to give a review. Such a nice, humbled and accommodating family (the owners) My vehicle sat here for almost a week and a half after an honest mistake on my behalf. I finally was able to get it out. Cara went above and beyond to have her husband John help us out. First of all they came in on their day off with their beautiful children to help me and my son. The process was easy and we didn’t have to wait long ( no more than 10 minutes ) They helped us to the max, I’ll just say that. Cara & John YOU ROCK ! You are such an excellent example of decent human beings. From the first phone call all the way up until we drove away ~ I truly appreciate you both. Your kindness when you didn’t even have to, speaks volumes of you, and your business! I don’t know these people at all so please believe this is a 100% HONEST review ! Metro has been my go- to for towing and autobody for the last 15 years that I’ve been driving. In fact, my parents have been using Dom & Rita since the early 90’s. It’s a family business who cares not only about making sure you’re pockets are not emptied, but quality work and exceptional customer service.
Highly Recommend!!! I visited 3 shops after getting in a collision in my truck and I couldn’t be happier that I chose to go with Metro. Dominick is a great guy and does amazing work. They were easy to communicate with and took care of everything with the insurance company. My truck came back looking better than before I got in my accident. Dominick always does fabulous work, and this time was just as fabulous as always. My BMW was hit from behind and had back-end damage. Dominick knows that my BMW is precious to me. He did meticulous and timely work. Metro Auto body repaired my car after an accident. They were amazing to work with. Got my car in immediately after I had the initial consultation. The work was done beautifully. The car looks new. I am a bail agent out of New Britain court and had a client who was in real need of help. She had lost her fiancé, gave birth and lost her baby to DCF, lost her home and has been living in her car with 3 dogs. Broken down and staying in a parking lot, I initiated a reach out mission to help her. Papas Dodge agreed to repair the car for free but I had to go to 4 tow truck companies before Metro immediately said “Sure, we will help. When do you want it moved?” I almost cried. The ladies and gentlemen didn’t even hesitate and sent out a driver within minutes to tow her car to New Britain for repairs. These people at Metro Towing are great human beings and their compassion in their work for others was obvious. I left almost crying and thanking them for what I thought was never going to happen. Thank you Metro towing for your kindness and generosity to help. The car was ultimately repaired a few days later and we can all say Mission Acomplished!

I needed my bmw door handle fixed and the manager Dominick went above and beyond to get the parts that it needed to get done. Also I was amazed by the pricing. I don’t post reviews very often, but I couldn’t wait to post one for Metro. Metro provides everything you could possibly ask for out of a towing company and more. They are professional to the T and willing to go above and beyond for their customers. Last night, my girlfriend and I got rear-ended and called Metro, and one of their employees, Brandon, told us that we would pop a tire if we kept driving. My girlfriend and I were panicking and had never really been in this sort of situation before, but Brandon was kind, helpful, and went out of his way to make sure that we were okay and guided us on how to deal with our insurance claim. He towed our car and dropped us home, even though it was more than 2 hours away and on a Sunday night. I cannot say enough good things about Brandon and this company, and they deserve every ounce of success because they are the epitome of class, professionalism, and kindness. Metro shows that there are still good people, and we were so lucky to find them.
This is the most professional and helpful experience I’ve ever had with an auto shop and I would highly, highly recommend this family owned business. We got rear ended during a road trip with hundreds of miles left to go and didn’t know what to do. Called Metro towing for help and for advice. Brandon came by within 10 minutes to take a look and diagnosed that it was unsafe to drive the rest of the way. He gave us advice on our next steps and was on standby as we figured our insurance claims. After all of that he was still willing to drive us back all the way to our destination, even though it was late Sunday night and he had work early the next day. He got us and our car safely back home because he knew we were stranded. On top of that we also had some great conversations along the way. This company clearly goes above and beyond to help their customers and I’m so grateful we found them.

I really couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. My 2009 Accord needed some cosmetic paint/bodywork. Dom (who has decades of experience) quoted me an extremely fair price, and provided me with the quality of work that has my car looking like new again. They even completely detailed the inside of my car for me! I am extremely happy I chose Metro Auto Body to handle this job. I will return again to have any future work done, and will recommend Metro to everyone I know.

The customer service here is outstanding. I received numerous of updates on my vehicle repair. It was easy to contact the owner when I needed to and if I left a message I always received a call back. The repairs on my vehicle were as if they were never there. The paint job was dealership quality, no bubbles or run on paint or clear coat. I recommend Metro to whom ever needs professional repairs done to their vehicle in a timely manor without the putting a hole in your pockets. Special thanks to Dom and Metro Auto Body!
I brought in my 2018 f150 after getting into a collision where my back right quarter paneled was damaged. Dominick took a look, quoted an extremely fair price, and gave a date as to when it will be done. When I came to pick up my truck a few days later, the truck overall looked better than when I bought it, and the quarter panel looked phenomenal. The level of professionalism, and quality of work at this shop is way better than any other shop I have ever dealt with. I will be coming here again, whenever I need work done on my vehicles.
