We were really pleasantly shocked at the ease of our appointment with We Buy Any Car. Sarah arrived on time, and she was good at answering our questions and explaining each step she would take. She spent about 30 minutes checking the car, including running some diagnostic tests. She recognized the care we had put into the car, and told us how she had calculated the value. Her offer was realistic to us, which means more than we expected!
The whole experience took about an hour, and when Sarah left we had a check for the car’s value, and a copy of all paperwork. She could even have auto-deposited that money via Zelle.

I've seen many adds on television for this company We Buy Any Car. I had a vehicle that was no longer needed in my household, so I decided to give them a try. The person on the phone was very courteous and after a few questions, scheduled someone to come out the same day! That person was Sarah and she did a very thorough inspection on the vehicle. She made an offer and I asked if it could be a little bit more. She called back to the office and the price was approved and the deal was made. After what Sarah said was "too much paper work" (it really wasn't) the deal was finalized, the title transferred, and the money in my bank account before Sarah left. Excellent service! Thank you so much!
This was pretty slick. They came to me to do everything, which was important as the insurance on the vehicle had lapsed. I was expecting to be bargained down from the web offer but it did not happen.

That said, I feel like the price offered for the vehicle was a bit of a bate and switch operation. The 7-day guaranteed price initially offered for the 13-year-old car apparently expected it to be perfect in every way.
Mike told us he very rarely sees a vehicle as mechanically flawless as ours. The corporate-team-offered price deducted $1,400 from the initial guaranteed price for minor scratches, normal wear for a 13 year-old vehicle, in the formal offer. I seriously doubt that a future owner of the vehicle would think twice about the car’s minor paint scratches.
Mike was fantastic to work with. I had several hiccups to work through with my car and he handled it like a champ, ensuring he could work through every issue. 10/10
Sarah was right on time, explained the process, inspected the car. The offer was fair considering the condition of the car. A few phone calls to set up the appointment and 45 minutes later had a corporate check in my hand.
Took a little more than an hour. They matched the quote on the website (minus a few hundred administrative fee). It was a little more than the Kelly bluebook valuation. Very professional. And now I can use the money as a down payment on my next car, which is much better than what I would have gotten for trading it in.
Mike was great! He had tons of personality and wasn’t just there for a paycheck. The only thing I would recommend is removing the “quote” from the website. Although the car we sold had a handful of issues the quote was waaaaaay off. It’s very misleading. The inspection process is very intensive it is nothing at all like a trade in process at a dealership. Just some things to point out. The actual selling of the car was fast and simple!
