Juniper Hot Springs in
Rush (CO)

Don't let this treasure fade. Looks like the closed sign is gone and the gate is closed, but not locked. I was looking forward to paying the fee I read about on a blog, but the payment tube wasn't locked. My wife and baby had a nice time. The springs wasn't "hot" but enjoyable on this cool fall evening. Maybe 90 degrees F. Beautiful area. We pitched a tent and listened to the owls and coyote.

Might have been a good place in the past...kinda creepy.

Off the beaten path. They had a sign they were open but no one was there. It’s very ghetto but would be fun to check out if we could.

Drove out there but it was closed, website was down and phone number is for a random person not the spring.

More of a warm spring with a large cold pool, but awesome healing water!!

Camped here for two nights. Roy met us as we arrived. He was very friendly and told us the history of the springs which is wonderful on it's own. It was mid-week so we almost had the entire place to ourselves. It was very peaceful and relaxing. We've soaked in quite a few hot springs but I don't think we've ever felt as relaxed afterwards as we did here. Highly recommend!

not very hot, which isn't the main issue - honestly it was quite gross. would not go back.
