Very rude workers all around

This facitity was impressively clean for the volume of recyclsble that they handle. Great job. Brandon helped my father and I unload a large amount of extruded aluminum for recycling. We had two truck loads. Brandon was nice, polite, so helpful for both of our recycling loads. Thank YOU so much.

I recently began my recycling journey after being tasked with cleaning up a friend's home following a stroke. In the process, I visited several recycling centers — but All Ways Metal Recycling stood out above the rest, and that’s largely thanks to two outstanding individuals who work there. One is named Josh, and the other — whose name I don’t know — is always wearing a cowboy hat. From the very first truckload of scrap metal I brought in, these two went above and beyond to help me. They were incredibly knowledgeable and, more importantly, willing to share that knowledge every time I came in. They taught me how to tell the difference between various types of metals and gave me tips on how to bring items in to get the most value. Their great attitudes and patience made me feel welcome and confident as I learned the ropes. Because of them, I now feel comfortable and look forward to bringing all my recyclables here. If it weren’t for Josh and the man in the cowboy hat, I probably would have taken my business elsewhere. They are a prime example of what keeps customers coming back, and if anyone at All Ways Metal Recycling deserves a promotion or recognition, these two should be at the very top of the list.

Called receptionist and they quickly picked up and hung up on me before I can even say hello. The parking lot is small and chaotic but the employees outside were helpful. I dropped off metal doorknobs and they took them without any questions.

They took 2 pressure washer engines That another place rejected, but offered to take off my hands

You guys offer 57¢/ lb. for Forged Aluminum. So ONE Weld Racing Wheel weighing in at 12 lbs. Is worth $6.84 ???? This is NOT a fair and balanced offer.

I'm trying to find parts for my computer - specifically a Power Supply. So I was looking to see if the local scrap yard might let the public go through some of their junk. I thought I might get a power supply for cheap since I'm on a budget. I call this morning and it was a machine and it offered to connect me to different options but there was no customer service option so I just picked something close to it which was 'Administration'. I get connected and I hear 'Always'. It was a woman and I guess that was the greeting. So I said good morning and tried to ask if the public was allowed to go through the scrap yard. During this time there is a ton of loud noises in the back ground. It sounded like machines. But I tried to say what I had to say but wasn't sure if she heard me. She then says something like 'We don't do that here'. Personally, it would have been nice to have the person on the other line be professional and courteous. Not standing next to the loudest machine on the planet. Not helpful at all. And maybe answer the phone in an office. Update 12/31/2024 Looking back at this review, I'm not happy with how I handled my experience. I called, asked a question, got an answer. The employee did her job, and I didn't have to be so abrasive. My apologies.

I recycled these brass things I had uhm they gave me two bucks so pretty rad and uh they also gave me a half dollar coin which is like idk you don't see those very much anymore so yeah they are pretty cool

I've taken scrap to all ways for a long time. They give me dealer pricing due to the volume of material we bring. They are very fair on what category of scrap they pay you for. Their employees are fast and efficient in getting you in and out of there quickly.

Great service at times. Not to many problems here. Some of the stuff they try to re-sale is CRAZY high priced I'm sure that's why the same stuff has been sitting there for well over a year. The guys all help with great aptitude. When leaving please look for screws and nails.

The owner is Very fast and professional He is Always there to take care of all options of what is needed to be done for you or our coworkers and Always says thank you and enjoy the rest of your day Very polite and thankful for us doing business with him

I’ve been coming here for the past 3 years. They are fast, friendly and very helpful. I don’t go anywhere else but here!

This place used to be very helpful, however yesterday I brought in several bags of cans and waited in line forever. Finally someone started helping me and then left me to do everything myself half way through the transaction. I had just tipped the sweet, helpful boy at Quality Recycling $10 and would've done the same at this place, but the service was non existent. 2 stars for the cashier. I'll try them one more time and hope they can change my mind.

Super awesome to help ya out and will tell you what you need to do…separate can, plastic and glass. And they weigh your recycling and are SO NICE all the way! ;)

They were friendly and professional. I have never been here before and I was approached by an employee who was very knowledgeable and told me what they take and what they charge for. They take pretty much everything but not all things have a value.

I buy more than sell just because I find such neat stuff. They charge a fair price as long as you're, not a douch bag. I Was told that I would get a better price if I put in bottles that were counted versus we're having them weigh them. Boy, was I wrong? They let me do a test. I counted out 100 bottles cheap plastic water bottles that were very lightweight. And then Weighed them. There is close to a 100% price difference; I made almost double just having them weighed How many places let you do that. beat them up for a higher price? Great place, great guys.

My boyfriend and I have been knowing these guys for a long time. At least 20 years now. Of course it's now owned by a different person, a great guy, but our friends still work there. They are good about meeting the needs of their customers, they pay decent prices, they are quick to lend you a hand if need be AND the play rock n roll while you wait!! Don't take your metal anywhere else! Best metal shop in town!!

I've been to many places over the years and this place definitely has the best prices services very good you're not just robots and they don't act like they hate their job I went there once on a whim and never look back I just can't bring myself to go to some other place that doesn't seem like they're in it for the long haul like these guys... They are great

I came in with my mother, and Kyle was such a kind gentleman and when the other guy said they don’t accept walk-ins, Kyle was very kind to me and I got my payment later at 2pm. 5 stars to Kyle.

My son and I have been going here for many years now to recycle our soda cans and water bottles so he can use all the proceeds to build up his bank account. Their prices are good and we enjoy using their coupons. Most importantly, though, is that all the staff have been friendly, helpful, and courteous to us every time we've been there! The few times I'd ventured out and tried all the other places in town, we received pretty rotten service from each of them. The great service we get here is what keeps us "All Ways" coming back (just thought of that & is sooo cheesy! Lol). It's so true, though!

Been recycling here for years, much better than alot of the east county recycling centers. Ya sometimes the guys might be a lil cocky from time to time....but if i had to deal with all the BS people try to bring in and recycle i would prolly be a lil fusterated by the end of the day too. But overall, guys are cool and place is mostly clean. Prices are good and they match competitors prices as well so good for copper, brass, extruded alum, etc. I wont go anywhere else. Thanks guys. Wow .. that's all I can say .. walking into a recycling yard can be overwhelming when it's your first time and I must say it was clean when I was expecting dirty and gross. The men who helped when I first arrived explained to me how it works and what to put my cans and bottles in .. then when I got to the window it seemed the woman inside enjoyed her job with a smile and a signature I was on my way .. they also told me I can bring competition coupons and they would match it. Also doesn't hurt they are open seven days a week !! Definitely must say I will be back and will do all my recycling at all ways recycling!!

My goto place for years in Alpine closed, so this was the first time at All Ways. I asked "Matt" about the routine. He happily gave me a quick tour and made it easy for me to recycle all my household plastic, aluminum and glass. So much easier than anywhere else I've ever used! Then "KK" paid me at the cashier and I left a happy man! Thanks

Called ahead of time and got a great price on my copper. Much better than I would have gotten at other places. The guys are super nice and helpful. Never going anywhere else.

I don't know why people give a harsh rating... yes the parking is limited and they are usually busy, but the staff is friendly and helpful, which is so uncommon for this kind of establishment. I had some trash in my truck mixed in with my recycling and they offered to take it and throw it away for me. If that does not show how courteous they are, then I don't know what does. Fact is recycling centers in so cal are going to be busy, dirty and uncomfortable, but the staff here did the best they could to make me feel welcomed.

this place USED to be my go to place. they sorted. NOT TODAY, rude said you sort yourself now read the sign. Done. The parking lot has glass, metal and a big crane, I know it's going to cause a flat tire. so next.

I've recycled with these folks for a long time now, and they remain consistently helpful, friendly and honest. They have good prices on the resale of small pieces of metal for projects and a varying selection of stock for larger jobs too. I always leave the place feeling like I was treated as I would treat others.
