We had our van brake down as we were traveling and had to tow the vehicle to El Cajon Ford Service Center on a Sunday! The service advisor, Wes, went above and beyond to communicate with us as the vehicle went thru the evaluation process and then the repairs. Communication was everything....Wes was understanding, honest, and helpful.....and the vehicle issue was fixed quickly. I cannot give enough positive feedback on how impressed we were with this service center!

Derrick was great with the diagnosis and service process. Kept us in the know and made it easy and clear. I've always had good experience with El Cajon Ford. Now it's even better with the new pickup and delivery service, especially as we live in Alpine.

Just dropped off my truck…. So far so good. Prompt service with no appointment! (I expected to leave it for diagnosis and repair) Revised review: El Cajon Ford had my truck for two weeks with no work started. Supposedly waiting for a new computer or ECU. Pulled the truck and had it towed to another Ford dealer in Poway. They diagnosed it as something completely different! Had me up and running in 3 days. (It’s been a year since and I’ve had no further problems with my truck.

Frankie was very nice, polite, and helpful. Unfortunately I have to deduct a star (really would rate it more like 3.5 stars), with the fast lane service, there’s something called the works package, which I did for my RV and I couldn’t get most of the package, but still had to pay for the entire thing. I paid $350 for pretty much just an oil change. The inspection is free. They couldn’t rotate my tires because I have a dually RV. Also wouldn’t fit in their car wash area. They did check to see if I had a nail in a tire I asked about, but that’s not much effort. He said the RV rate is higher than a vehicle, anyway. I asked if he could do anything about the price because I’m not getting the tires rotated, not getting a wash, and all that saves on labor, too. He knocked like $20 off, that’s all he could do. I think that’s unacceptable. The RV has run great, but the issue for sure with the works package and that you can’t deduct anything from the price if your vehicle literally cannot accommodate most of the package deal. It’s *entirely* too much money. Will go to an RV shop, not a dealer. Will go to an RV shop or change the oil ourselves next time. Edit to review: Deducted two stars. The valve stem is leaking, which should have easily been caught by someone. We were told they looked it over (probably just glanced for a nail and didn’t bother to spray the tire). We sprayed it and it bubbled right away. And after thinking about it, it is pretty ridiculous there’s no other option to reduce the amount of the works package, the price is very very high.

I had an outstanding experience with El Cajon Ford! From start to finish, their team was incredibly patient and understanding. I was able to test drive and even take a truck home for a month to really get a feel for it. Throughout the process, they were professional, responsive, and never pressured me into making a decision. Although I ultimately decided not to purchase the truck, I truly appreciated their commitment to ensuring I had all the information I needed and that I was comfortable with my decision. If you’re looking for a dealership that values customer satisfaction and doesn’t rush the buying process, I highly recommend El Cajon Ford! I’ll definitely be returning for future vehicle needs.

I had a massive front brakes replacement job that needed to be done for some time, and the friendly and knowledgeable staff at Quick Lane(El Cajon Ford) made it happen. The front desk rep Liz was awesome! She answered all my questions, helped steer me in the right direction for some hard decisions I needed to make, and was genuinely concerned about my safety in regards to driving my Expedition, due to the shot brakes I had. Liz and the Technician working on my car(and I'm sorry I don't remember his name because I only met him for 30 seconds, but he was awesome too), both showed me how bad my brakes were and let me see them on my car while it was on the repair lift in the workbay. Even their supervisor(I think his name was James) came to voice his concerns for my safety. They all genuinely cared and didn't want me to get into an accident. They all gave me straight answers and didn't try to add unnecessary additional work to my car, which I soooooooooo appreciated! Liz was even able to find some extra discounts(military Veteran/USMC. and Ford Pass Rewards) to help me out since money is really tight right now. I had to leave my car at Quick Lane for the entire Veteran's Day weekend and Liz made sure to communicate with me every step of the way, up until the very end. I highly recommend Quick Lane at El Cajon Ford! The staff are amazing and honest, which is why I stay forever loyal to bringing my car to them for all my repairs and services! Finally a good dealership service experience. Decided to take a chance again on dealership repair and this worked out awesome. I had Carlos Martinez for my advisor. Purely by chance. My assigned advisor was not available at the time. Carlos went above and beyond and actually saved me money. Now there is a twist. A service rep saving me money. I am not a newbie at this and it takes a lot to impress me. Carlos ( and El Cajon ford ) did.

Service writer Guillermo was very good, on initial intake and kept me posted on status. Vehicle was done when he said and all good. El Cajon ford also took car of rental car for us with same yr/make/model that we had. Good experience!

I had a minor warranty repair to be performed. The repair was completed in one day which required a new part. The part was in stock. My service advisor (Guillermo Gonzalez) kept me informed and gave me a good description of the original part defect. I picked El Cajon Ford based on the Google map reviews. As of 11/7/2024, El Cajon Ford service department has a review score of 4.7. That's pretty darn good for a service department. Keep up the good work El Cajon Ford!

Elijah Harlow by far is the best service advisor I could ever ask for. He was helpful and kept me updated on a regular basis. He went over and beyond. He made sure I knew everything he was doing and I understood every step of the process. He was a very professional, but at the same time very kind patient and understanding. I knew. My Ford expedition was in good hands. Thank you again Eli for all of your hard work. I cannot thank you enough. They just don’t make them like you anymore, buddy. I hope that you’re supervisors and Mr.Paul Dyke Realize just how much of an asset you are to that company. God bless you.sir Nobody beats El Cajon Ford.

The staff in the quick lane dept are very helpful and would rate them 5 stars! However the service dept will only do the minimum to fix anything on you vehicle. If it’s covered under warranty they will fix it. A day after, it’s sorry it’s not covered anymore! As proud ford owner i would think for would stand behind there customers and their vehicles. Especially when the issue is a commonly known default in design and a simple fix.

I went in for a recall on my Ford Escape. Initially, they told me they'd come to my home to do it, but then that changed. I was told I'd need to go to the dealership, but they’d provide a loaner car while the service was done. Then that also changed, and they said the service would take less than 2 hours, so a loaner wouldn’t be necessary. When I arrived, I was told my car would need to stay for two days!! because they might not have the parts, despite this appointment being scheduled and rescheduled over two months. By this point, they should have had everything ready. In the end, all they needed to do was take pictures of the car with their phones and send them to their team. I had to stand my ground with a very rude desk person to get this resolved. Overall, it was a terrible customer service experience.

♥️ ♥️ A BIG SHOUT OUT TO LIZ ♥️ ♥️ The Service Quick Lane Representative, SHE WAS FABULOUS! She didn’t skip a beat, took care of us like we were special. We had starter & battery issues… Arrived at 1:30 on Saturday and they were able to run a battery check on our White Ford Bronco Sport only to realize we needed a new battery. She now runs like a charm Thank God, No Thank El Cajon Ford! Thanks again Liz for being polite, friendly & professional. She even had our car washed and it looks like new! We drove away very happy! I went into ford in the morning for an alignment dropped the car off at 9am or before and I had asked how long because I worked at 12 pm they said it would be done by 11:30 am so I went home and took a nap and I was getting ready to go back at 11 they call me and say that they need more time 1 more hour so my boss said to come in at 1 pm so I’m not rushing I get there at 12 and check in it’s about to be 12:30 and they come to again saying they need another hour I said for what and the girl said she doesn’t know that’s what they told her, I called my boss again and said just come in at 3 pm he was already upset with me but it’s out of my control, it’s already 1:45 pm and nothing I asked and the girl said nothing it’s about to be 2:30 then the tech comes up to me saying that im missimg bolts this n that and i was trying to figure out what had happened n there service manager is tryna say that my mechanic didnt put the bolts and that i was all defensive when i had pictures of under the car before i took em the car which the bolts were there and the service manager was treating me terrible just blaming me and my mechanic when no one knows if his workers misplaced the bolt or who knows i wasnt blaming fingers at no one and that all he was doing then they were gonna find replacement bolts which it took them over an hour of me waiting just for them not too find any bolts when it takes no more then 5 minutes to find out if they have them or not but he told me the part person has important things to do and shell look when she has time him just being a complete ass and not helping the situation then tells me that if i wanna grab my car and leave and that i can care less and after they couldnt find the bolt he says if i wsnna leave them the car and the next day they can get the bolts and put them in. why would i leave the car with someone who clearly doesnt care so i tell them too bring my car to the front its already about to be 5 pm and ive been waiting since 12 pm 5 hours of them wasting my time and them not doing anything just messing around, as the guy who did the allignment on my car brings it to the front i was watching him drive it and they have a steep hill and i see him smack and scrape the front bumper like if he owned the car and just laughed and all the other workers heard the noise and just turned around and looked at him he not only smacked the bumper but i saw that he bent the driver side of the bumper and has a lot of scrapes on the rtr splitter i just bought new from the car then he reverses and then brings it too the front and i confront him and he denys scraping saying what am i talking about as i seen him hit the car and all the other workers too they charged me the full amount not even a discount for having me wait for 5 hours wasting my time and losing wages from work for nothing I tried talking to the manager Paul dyke and that guy doesn’t take the situation serious saying he’ll call me back and it’s been 2 weeks of nothing clearly that guy doesn’t care and they’ll damage ur car waste your time and not handle the situations correctly Paul you have my number and if u wanna still fix this we can but if u wanna continue wasting my time I’ll go to the business bureau David don’t bother replying back ur the last person I wanna talk to since ur saying “whats wrong with me” and “why am I so weird” when I’m just tryna take care of my things

The workmanship done at El Cajon Ford service department was good. The customer service needs a lot of work. Just recently picked up my dad's old truck for a repair which was done correctly but my goodness they lost the truck took almost an hour for them to finally find the truck on the lot and give it to me ... To add insult to injury the person who was supposed to be looking for The truck stopped looking didn't bother to tell anybody and began washing other cars ... Once the truck was located it was filthy dirty and hadn't been washed!

Thank goodness for Tim the Service Writer! He was personable and professional when I needed a battery. He ensured that my vehicle was taken care of efficiently and saved the day. All employees I encountered were friendly and focused on delivering excellent customer service. I hope my car doesn't break down but if it does I will feel comfortable taking it to EC Ford Service.

Between Toyota of El Cajon, and especially Team KIA of El Cajon, doing business at El Cajon Ford, and especially the service department, is now the best it has ever been. Even the people waiting as I was commented in front of all of us how the staff here is really friendly. Let me explain: I would not feel that the other dealerships were being honest with me. However, this new staff at El Cajon Ford gives the customer a feeling of being taken care of rather than customers taking care of a sales need.

Just had the worst customer experience at El Cajon Ford service department, manager, David Gutierrez. Had my service verified, by 2 employees prior to my appt today, that is was covered under my extended warranty. Show up for my appointment and now told by service manager it will not be covered and his employees made a mistake. Manager very argumentative, lacks customer service and doesn’t train his employees well. Not a good representation of El Cajon Ford. I will never go back. If I could put negative stars. I would!

Was told that my 2018 Mustang had swollen lug nuts. Would be replaced at a cost of 140 dollars, when I got home I found that none of the lug nuts were swollen. This was a lazy tech or an attempt to rip me off for 140 dollars. As seen in photo none of the kugnuts are swollen.

Everyone I talked to was friendly and informative. The service advisor kept me up-to-date and they were flexible with my busy schedule. I had skid wheels installed on my camper trailer. The install is super clean, and the skid wheels did their job and have not had any issues. I dropped off on a Saturday, and the install was done the following Tuesday. It was a pleasant experience.

I took my 2019 F150 in for a transmission diagnosis, back up camera check, engine light check,, quick lane oil change and tire rotation. My service advisor, Bobby was very helpful in his reporting as to what the procedures were gonna entail. Picked up truck, was a little longer than I expected. None the less it was a good experience. Thank you El Cajon Ford!

Took my car to get serviced at El Cajon Ford and my service advisor was Carlos Martinez. His service from start to finish and even in between was excellent. He gave me instructions as to what the issue with my car and what the cost was going to be. I have extended warranty and he made the calls to get authorization for the services to be checked and see if it’s covered. Next time you make an appointment for whatever services ensure you request Carlos. Excellent customer service. Friendly and great communication. Thank you soo much Carlos

I was very satisfied with the service I received at El Cajon Ford from Andrea Hall the service writer to Kyle the shuttle driver. They were all very nice. I also want to thank the technician who performed the service on my Bronco. Looks like he has great attention to detail. He went the extra mile without me even asking of taking my custom valve stem cap and rotating it into the tire rotation.

I have taken my new 2022 F-150 Lightning in for service twice at El Cajon Ford both time Robert Nothwang in service has been fantastic, actually everyone I have interacted with in the service department has been very friendly from the cashiers to the other service advisors. I tried to schedule my truck for a recall at a different dealership when I first got it and they made the process so difficult, not here. Could not be easier. I highly recommend having your vehicle serviced by the team at El Cajon Ford if you need warranty work done. Obviously I wish my Lightning would stop needing service :) but that is another story. These guys are top notch.
