Honest mechanics worth their weight in gold. These guys are great and I trust them completely. They worked on my Honda Accord for it's 100,000 mile servicing and while a bit pricey, it was much less than the dealership (stealership). Then my wife's air-conditioning went out in her car. We had no idea what it was and feared the worst. It turned out it was just a relay switch and cost us under $100. Not knowing that much about cars, the fact is, they could have told us anything and we would have had no choice but to believe them. They've earned my trust and I won't bring our cars anywhere else. Period. I'm not the only one because they stay super busy. So I recommend calling ahead and making an appointment. Edit 4-30-25. Just had my car serviced. Once again, excellent, honest service. I thought I needed something that would have been fairly pricey. They checked over my car and said it was not needed at this time. Then they did my full servicing. Honest, excellent technicians.

I brought my mom’s subaru here on a recommendation. The staff was nothing but wonderful to me and my mom. They were honest and explained everything to us that was going on with the car. I was comfortable the entire time the car was serviced. The price was reasonable as well. I’ll definitely be coming back for all our car needs.

Although the shop was too busy to fit me in as quickly as I needed, Keith went above and beyond by taking time out of his day to help me. He got on the computer and personally guided me in the right direction. His exceptional care and genuine dedication to his customers are both impressive and deeply appreciated. Highly recommend!

I have had my car serviced here a few times and each time the service and price has been outstanding! I don’t know much about cars and I hate taking it in because in the past I always felt like I was being oversold but J&K is honest and tells me exactly what needs to be fixed. On top of all that the service is so timely! Great service all around!

Great service from first call to final estimate. Ken had a bunch of bad news about my older Toyota, but he offered excellent advice and a sound plan for taking care of the repairs. It's obvious when you're in his shop that he beloved and trusted by his many loyal customers. I'm grateful I discovered this gem of a resource and know I'm in good hands!

Found my go to auto repair shop. I drove in for small problem today. Ken was honest, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. A few other shops I had approached didn't even want to work on the car. It took Ken 10 minutes to fix the problem, we started talking about cars... he loves working on cars, it shows. After we wrapped up today, I decided to return for some larger repairs next month. Definitely the kind of shop you tell your friends about.

A little over a year ago I first called Ken to diagnose an issue with my 1992 4Runner. I do most of my repairs and modifications myself and finding a mechanic who is not only willing to deal with my mess but also willing to take the time to explain repairs is not easy. Ken began diagnosing my truck right in front of me within 5 minutes of my arrival and quickly found the issue with my truck not starting. Ken’s passion for automobiles was readily apparent and his professionalism and awesome customer service left me thoroughly impressed. Since then I have returned to Ken twice with questions regarding minor issues, both times he has spent a significant amount of his own time (without charge) talking with me and providing guidance so that I can confidently complete the repairs myself. Thanks to his expertise and advice I’ve likely saved hundreds in diagnostic fees. Don’t hesitate going to J&K, Ken will treat you and your vehicle right.

I’ve used J & K twice now and both times I had wonderful experiences! This morning my driver side window would not roll up. When I called Kenny told me he had to order the part and it wouldn’t be there until Monday but to bring my car in so he could get the window up for me until he was able to repair it( thankfully because it’s suppose to rain this weekend!) I am so thankful to have a honest and reliable mechanic to call upon when something goes wrong with our cars. I cannot say ebough good things about the service and care from J & K!

Ken is the best. After ten years in San Diego, I'm so excited to have found an awesome mechanic. He's a Lexus sand Toyota specialist, I've owned a Tundra, Camry and NX200T. Ken has saved me tons if money, done jobs others wouldn't do (06 Camry sunroof broken). He is very friendly and informative.

The owner is a really great guy. My truck was making a loud, weird clunking noise coming from the steering column and I called in to talk about it. He had me in the next morning, checked my truck, took apart the steering wheel, fixed the problem and had me out of there in less than 15 minutes then didn't even charge me (even though I offered to pay) for his time and knowledge. Trustworthy and knowledgeable shops are hard to come by. I'll be sticking with them.
