Had the unfortunate situation where someone else ran into my assigned fleet vehicle. Long story short the insurance company opted to assign the job to this particular company & location. From my personal experience the entire process was straightforward with zero issues. The entire staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. The truck itself looks identical to what it did before the accident. Thank you Renee and crew for the opportunity to share with others the quality service you guys provide.

We went here to repair our truck after an accident and they were on it! Came out cheaper than what insurance quoted and they finished it exactly when they said they would. There was a little issue with insurance giving us the run around but the shop handled it all for us. Overall we were super impressed, work was excellent! Everyone we dealt with was super nice and kept us updated every step of the way. Would recommend and would go back for whatever other body work we might need in the future.

I am writing to strongly advise anyone considering Crash Champions Collision (formally known as King Service) to steer clear. My experience with this establishment was profoundly disappointing, bordering on negligent, and I cannot emphasize enough how much I regret bringing my vehicle here. I took my vehicle in for repairs on three left panels (front bumper, fender, and driver door). From the moment I stepped into the shop, it was clear that the staff was utterly disorganized and unprofessional. There was a shocking lack of transparency, coupled with a pervasive sense of dishonesty. The staff provided inconsistent information—telling me one thing while telling the insurance company another—and repeatedly delayed the work without legitimate reasons. While I understand that delays can occur due to back-ordered parts, it became evident that these delays were a direct result of the shop's negligence. To make matters worse, I later discovered that the individual initially handling my claim, Todd, was fired for what the shop itself described as "shady practices." This revelation speaks volumes about the integrity, or lack thereof, of this business. When I eventually received my vehicle back, the issues were numerous and unacceptable. The car had visible scratches, misaligned panels, missing parts, loose bolts, and screws, not to mention additional dings both on the exterior and interior. The paint job was atrocious—far below any reasonable standard of quality. To add insult to injury, the interior of my vehicle was left filthy, with dirt, stains, scratches, and chips everywhere. The shop couldn't even be bothered to give it a courtesy cleaning. Furthermore, during the painting process, my front windshield was cracked. Instead of taking responsibility, the shop informed me that I would have to pay $600 out of pocket to have it fixed. The unprofessionalism extended beyond the work itself. When I expressed my frustration, I was met with dismissive and condescending remarks from the staff, including statements like "It's just a car, at least it runs," "You get what you pay for, and insurance companies are cheap, so what do you expect?" and "What else do you want to complain about?" These comments were made by a tall, thin, middle-aged Hispanic male staff member, who rolled his eyes at my concerns. I filed a formal complaint with my insurance company and urged them to investigate this body shop. Dealing with [Body Shop Name] was a complete nightmare, and I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone. Despite assurances from my insurance company that the shop would contact me to correct the repairs, I have yet to hear from them. The shop has been entirely unresponsive to my calls, leaving me with no recourse but to pay out of pocket to address the numerous issues left unresolved. If I could give this shop zero stars, I would. The level of unprofessionalism, poor workmanship, and outright disregard for customer satisfaction is appalling. I urge anyone reading this to avoid Crash Champions Collision and spare themselves from a similar ordeal.

One of the worst experiences of my life on top of me being involved in the car collision. I had to deal with and Chase after this disaster of a body shop they should have their license pulled. My vehicle was deemed total loss they overlooked a damaged axle! Patched up a lot of damages using Bondo They cause more damage then the original damage. My 2015 truck was unsafe not fixed on top of that i had no warranty on the “repair” They were very disrespectful and unprofessional. But shout out the The lady at the front she was crying have a bad day or maybe she hates her life but she tends to take it out on the customer. And has an attitude issue I can see why her man is leaving her she can’t handle the adult world. She spilled her life to me and all I wanted to do was drop off My truck 🙃! Gustavo Was just lost, it’s like they hire anyone because he was worried about everything else but the work that was promised to be done. He lied and told me the truck was safe and I almost spun out driving up hill in the rain. I don’t wanna go onto too much deaths because I have emails text messages and videos of their unprofessionalism but I’ll share one photo of the “ repaired” version of my truck and you tell me from just looking at the dash if my truck is safe or fixed! This is how my truck was returned to me!

So happy with the whole process. First off, Renee (receptionist) was AMAZING!! She was so friendly and made the process easy to follow. Kept me up to date with the entire process. My car looked so good after the repairs were complete! 100% recommend this place!

Dropping my car off I was so nervous but this place was so great. Renee explained every step of the way. She was so kind and just amazing. I had to give her a hug i was so happy. And the lifetime guarantee was the cherry on top!

Terrible communication and customer service. Their commitment and promise to quality service is definitely not something I'd associate this group with. Todd, the service advisor whom I was instructed to speak with, was rude, talked over me, and dismissed any responsibility for an automated notification error that said my car was ready for pick up when it wasn't. His attempt to gaslight me into accepting that it was my mistake for showing up to their shop was both infuriating and unprofessional. After presenting him with time stamped text messages, he began to back track and pin blame on something else. I lost quite a bit of money in having to cut plans short, pay cancelation fees, and have uncomfortable discussions with my workplace to reverse approved time-off. It's essential to find a repair shop that values clear communication, accountability, and respects its customer's time and needs. I'll be taking this matter further to ensure that others and my insurance company are aware of my experience and subpar customer service by Service Kings.

Front end corner collision, car delivered incomplete and verbal promise from staff that fender trim molding and wheel reconditioning will be completed when the small cosmetic part arrives, vehicle delivered 4-29 and now 5-16 with no updated status on part, bumper parking sensor not installed properly, brakes have a major vibration, not checked and and alignment still pulling to the right, all on area where damage was done. Let's see how it all turns out. This company has done work on this vehicle in the past with a 5-star review.

I had my truck repaired here after being rear ended. Not long after picking up upon completion of repairs, I noticed a small imperfection in the paint when wiping it down one day and then started to hear a rattle when driving. I made an appointment to take the car back, after initial inspection they determined the imperfection was a bubble in the paint and I left the car for further inspection regarding the noise and repair of the paint issue. 2 days later I received a call the my car was ready and issues had been resolved. I was in a rush when picking up so I didn't check out the paint issue but did as soon as I was able once I got home. The rattle turned out to be a loose bumper clip (if memory serves) and that was fixed but the bubble was not. It actually was worse than when i dropped it off because it looks like they just scraped the bubble off and now there's a scratch in its place. I immediately called back and the gentleman I spoke with said he would check with his manager and give me a call back the next day but they would likely just repaint the entire lift gate (which I think is excessive for such a small imperfection but if that's what they feel they need to do to correct it, then so be it.) As of tomorrow it will be 3 weeks since I made that call and still have gotten no call back and no answer the couple of times I have called since then which is just unacceptable. At the end of the day, while the clip issue was really out of their control, things happen, but the fact that I also had to return for an issue with the paint, they should have made 100% sure that it was corrected prior to calling me to pick it up.

This place is great. At the last minute I canceled my appointment with caliber collision because their staff and came here. Best thing I could have done. The staff is amazing and even went above and beyond. They kept in touch with me and answered all questions I had in a timely manner. Car looks amazing will totally be back next time. Honestly most these shops do the same thing and hard to find the better one. The experience with the staff is what sold me.

***PLEASE READ FOR AN HONEST REVIEW*** Unfortunately I was involved in a pretty bad accident an rear ended from behind. My truck needed a whole new Frame, bed, tailgate and lights. Big job! over 20k in damages. I just bought the truck 1 month before the accident so I was bummed out. I cant thank Rene and the service king staff enough. Not only did they provide an excellent job with the repairs but I have to say it was with Legendary customer service. I'm sorry I don't remember everyone's name but Gustavo was amazing! He would text and call me with updates. Originally they told me it was gonna take about 3 weeks however they got it done in 2 weeks! Not only did they repair damages from the accident but even the small stuff lose caps and screws that were missing before they even put on for me. I wish nobody needs repairs on their cars but wow if you do... Service King is for you! I hope I don't need you again but if I do. Rene and Service King our the first people I am calling! Will definitely be recommending to friends and family!

Edit: this issue still has not been resolved yet, and I have filed an office complaint to the department of consumer affairs California. NO ONE from service King has ever contacted me besides leaving me this email. I have sent the email two weeks ago, and I have not yet received any responses yet. EVERYONE please be aware of this location. I have always had a great impression of Service King until recent experiences. My Benz SUV was rear-ended about two months ago. Although Service King - El Cajon is far from where I live in San Diego, I still trusted them because they are one of the few locations where I can work with my car and the insurance company. Most importantly, I had a great experience with Service King when I lived in Los Angeles. Hence, I visited and dropped off my car, and Renee assisted me. After a few days, I was told the car was ready to pick up since they had finished the work. They did a good job fixing the exterior damage. Renee asked me to leave a good review since she would get a bonus. I left her a good review from their internal site to do her a favor. However, I quickly found out my AC unit did not blow cold air with the engine light promptly turned on (on the second time since I drove upon picking up the car). I immediately contacted Renee at Service King and addressed my concern over the phone. I clearly remembered she said that they could not work on the mechanical problem and I should seek help from Mercedes. In addition, Renee advised me that if Mercedes can determine that this malfunction is related to the incident, Service King will further contact the insurance company and get this problem fixed. After a few weeks of waiting on my service appointment with Mercedes, I finally got my car inspected by them because I had been advised my car's mechanical issue should be done through Mercedes. To a huge surprise, I received an email from Benz with photos and videos that showed a physical damage hole on the heat exchanger, which caused a coolant leak. I asked the representative to consult with their professional technicians to see if this damage could relate to the rear-ending incident. Their answer is YES and ABSOLUTELY. However, Renee's attitude toward Service King - El Cajon shocked me when I called and emailed her what Benz told me. She started to bounce issues around. She said it would need to send to the insurance company for approval, and there's nothing they can do. What do you mean that there's nothing you guys can do? There are a few things I need complete clarification. 1st, I contacted you guys at once when I first found the issue, and you did not ask me to bring back my car for inspection, which caused a delay in locating the problem that was not exterior. Second, from a customer's perspective, after days of frustration without a working car, you could have at least shown some empathy and a positive attitude that you guys are willing to do your best to work with me to get this issue resolved. Instead, Renee decided to bounce problems and not take the initiatives to follow up. As a consumer who had a great experience in the past, I am very disappointed. 3rd, if you guys are really working on the positive feedback to get employees bonus, show us that you actually care and really are willing to work with us throughout the process. 4th, Renee advised me, "I don't work on the case anymore, and my manager will call you," then, CALL me, and let's get this resolved. 5th, Renee mentioned that they would fix my car to its condition prior to the accident. Well, Service King did not restore my car because this physical coolant leakage was not there before the accident, and Service King did not locate the problem, which caused a considerable delay. Ultimately, as a customer who really loved Service King for years, I have to say that I am very disappointed, and I sincerely wish they could take customer service seriously to protect their Brand.

My car was hit in the driver's side that destroyed the door and left damage all along that side. Service King did a great job of repairing the damage. It looks like it did when I bought it. Thanks for for courteous service and returning the rental car.

I had occasion to use the shop twice within a couple of months for two different situations. I could not have been more pleased with the outcome of their work. They are professional, friendly and the work is outstanding! It's the only body shop I would use.

I take my car there because the insurance company sent me to take only photos and send the estimate after a month I go and tell him that I am going to leave it to fix it, a manager comes out I suppose and looks at it and says that it will take at least 3 weeks I tell him that when they took the photos they did not take the rims he says yes and I tell him that they only took 1 and it was a few days later and I opened the back and look that it is also beaten inside and how water comes out when opening it well he says that it is no longer going to fix it because water has already entered it and time has passed... perhaps it must have accidents in spring? You will know that the insurance companies tell you that we still do not have the report, you must wait and to obtain the report it takes time, well, if they send them there, make sure that when you have an accident it does not rain or put an umbrella on it and you must make sure that everything is estimated because later they happen account that they did not do it well and prefer to say that they did not fix it for other reasons

My car was in a hit and run. The whole back end smashed. My insurance company recommended this location. They were fantastic! Renee took care of me the whole time. She gave regular updates on progress a few times a week. It being the holiday season and with shipping so backed up, I expected delays but they were 2 weeks early! They estimated 1/4/22 and we got it on 12/21/21. They did a super job and the car looks brand new. They detailed it beautifully as well. I’m so thankful to them for such a great job and so quickly!

No one wants to have to have body work repairs made on their car. Service King were recommended to me by my insurance provider and they most certainly didn’t steer me wrong. Fabulous communication throughout the timely repairs and my car looks like new!! A massive shout out to Renee who was an absolute pleasure to work with, I felt like I was saying goodbye to an old friend when I picked my car up. i highly recommend Service King!

Poor quality repairs. Missing plastic clips, frame repair rusting after a year. That's after the initial repair and I had to take it back for rework as well. They miss the mark for quality. The repair Looked ok on the outside, just don't look under the hood if you get your car back from here if you want to be happy.

We were hit by a drunk driver in our business truck. Without our truck we cannot complete work, which is a huge deal. We called Service King in Santee, but we're declined due to the aluminum body, so they referred us to El Cajon because they work on aluminum body (call center confirmed). We waited a week for the appointment, emptied the truck, brought it in the morning. Over 6 hours later we get a call to pick it up because THEY DON'T WORK ON ALUMINUM BODY! A huge waste of time that could have been saved by a simple phone call. Really unprofessional staff, cursing in the wait room, and when looking at the truck, she just walked away and left us in the cold. The lady that had us sign paperwork was friendly though.

I tried not to give them one star, but they made me! They sent a text saying that the car is complete and ready to pick up. When I arrived, there were missing liner clips and the hood wasn't lining properly with new bumper. The manager blamed the bad job on the accident saying that the accident caused the entire front to shift!! Are u kidding me the accident happened at speed of 5 MPH!!! I had to bring the car again for the two issues. The did fix them but they damaged the hood!! There is an abvious ding near the hing due to pressure applied trying to close it. Btw there were two more parts that I declined to replace which they have no effect what so ever on the fit up.

After over a year of trepidation I decided to trust a referral to a body and paint garage to spruce-up my Mercedes SUV. This reluctance was due to my history as an absolute perfectionist in the automotive restoration and repair industry whereby my family maintained a shop that produced many award winning restorations including complete body-off fares for decades. As such my eye for quality is quite keen and I remain very hard to impress. I wasted no time in informing their estimator, Buck Rider that he's was dealing with a consummate perfectionist and as such, he was to consider himself very forewarned. Nonetheless, he remained undaunted and very generously proceeded to go over several options with me to repaint the polymer portions of my truck that had failing paint. After deciding to work with him, a week later my truck was complete and the incredibly challenging task to match the silver paint was performed perfectly (matching that color separates the men from the boys) and all of the work was done to top quality standards (it matched factory). In addition, he offered the services of a Paintless Dent Removal (PDR) subcontractor that removed every door ding the vehicle had acquired since 2004. His work was absolutely masterful. There was no way with a naked eye that the former location of those dents could be identified and the original paint remained fully intact in the process...INCREDIBLE. I have never been happier with anyone's work, Gene Townsend's or the PDR sub. I have since used the sub on another Mercedes with outrageously remarkable results. I cannot recommend these folks enough/am immensely satisfied. They even made a follow-up call to be sure that I was copied with the lifetime warranty and that someone had explained it to me.
