  1st time wasn't to happy with the hold and had the check mailed took a week. So, I decided to go for a last trip since forgot some cables to recycle and now going on 2 weeks without them mailing my check even though I called Monday they said it would go out. Go somewhere else unless you want your money to sit on their desk until they feel like sending it out. Seller beware!!

  Worst recycling place ever. Not my first terrible experience here and most certainly will be my last. They have a 3-day hold on transactions over $20, you cannot walk into the place or else you will not be helped, and employees do not hesitate to raise your voice or even cuss while interacting with you would not recommend it to anyone and I advise go to any other place but there.

  I went to City Recycling in S.B with 10 ft long THICK jumper cables and they tried to give $2.50 for the copper! I asked for it back and tried S&A and they gave me $16 for it. Then I try to take 30 lb stainless steel to City and they tried to give me $1.33 for it. S&A gave me $10.20. Go to S&A with your metal and Robertos with your CRV. Avoid City

  We found this Recycling Yard business on google and by far is the worst recycle yard in San Bernardino, California Before leaving and wasting gas, make sure to ask SA Recycling if they have a forklift or magnet to grab your load? The representatives will respond "yes" However, when you arrive there is no forklift or equipment to help and all of the workers will not want to help unless you pay them. If you resist the workers will walk away and become confrontational and rude. When you speak to the front desk about the behavior, the representatives begin to act the same. I rarely give a company a "1 star" but this company definitely deserves it because of poor management and horrible customer service.

  This place is awesome. My truck broke down on the scale. They pushed me where I needed to go then back onto the scales when I was done. One of the workers tried helping me get back on the road. They're always friendly. No one made me feel uncomfortable in an embarrassing situation. Plus they pay better then anyone around.

  This new SA location is faster, cleaner and safer. You roughly would get $45-60 for a bare shell. The guys are always on the toes waiting to assist you quickly unload your vehicle.

  SA Recycling in San Bernardino is amazing. They are ethical, extremely courteous, and will not take scrap if they suspect it has been stolen. If more recycling centers followed these practices, we would have much less theft.

  Brought a 2 steel chairs 2 bike frames give me $2.93 I could have sold the chairs five bucks a piece in the bikes for a 5 or $10 a piece and it was too late she already took them and dumped them. There's better places than this if they weigh more.

  RIP offs. I came last week and clearly asked them how much for clean cast iron. She double checked with someone and told me 20 cents per pound. I. Brought the material today and they gave me $40. So I asked and they said no, its $120 per ton. After I dropped off my stuff and they paid me. I wanted to get my stuff back but couldn't lift it and they told me they cant help me. Make sure you ask before you drop off your stuff here. They need to teach their employees better on pricing. As a reply to my reply, the quote was given in person, not over the phone. There was no miscommunication. I know what she told me in person when I asked her a few times and she confirmed if with another girl.

  The creamy teeth young spanish girl has a bad attitude plus the price of tin is 49$ safe way recycling pay 8cent a pound which is better..safe way treat you better nice staff...rc in colton has lost their famous good name because my experience has been bad and the management has been horrible..the girl at the window with all the plaque on her teeth disgust me..i wouldnt recommend any one..

  My aluminum cans were refused, because some were crushed. Yet just a few months ago I turned in the same manner of cans without problem. It is quite annoying to drive all that way only to be told "no thank you." What a farce. I went to another recycler who accepted my cans without complaint.

  PLEASE STAY AWAY from this place they rip me off. They only gave me $1.26 for a 15lb radiator. I felt like i was in jail. They had me take a picture and finger printed me. I guess my ID and license plates werent enoff. I asked why they require my fingerprint and they worker gave me a lame excuse that because sometimes items get place on hold. They did all this before showing me how much they were going to pay me. If i would have known that I was going to only get paid $1.26 I would have gotten my stuff and left. I really feel violated.

  It was probably because it was a Friday & there were only a few workers, but it was a bit unorganized. There were some dolly carts for moving heavy scrap metal, but where were the containers for CRV? You also must post signs that all material must be ready at the scales. It shouldn't take 15 minutes for weighing CRV & scrap metal. Fix those issues. This location is closer for me than Rancho Cucamonga & Fontana.

  Wow, quick and easy breezy.. after went to American scraps metal and they don't even open til 10am, here at 7am they open.. came by here and do my thing in and out under 15min. Got my little whatever cash and go buy more craps..

  SA has a big city professionalism, with that small town attitude. At SA you get the kind of service only a small town can offer. They are homest, polite, helpful and knowledgable in their business. They truelly care about their customers, and are concerned about making sure you get the best price possible for your scrap. They have an incredible staff. They make it a point to make each and every customer feel important, like we matter. Since day 1 , I have been treated as if we have been good friends our whole lives. It feels like family. I have never experienced a bad visit at SA, nor have i ever felt like i was being ripped off. ( which is generally the case at other scrap yards about half the time). If you are looking for a scrap yard to treat you right , look no further because there they are, waiting with a smile, to go that extra mile, to add another member to their family. I highly reccomend SA all the way. Way to go SA for the great job all of you do to make a stress free enviroment in a very stressful occupation for all of us scrappers. It's nice when we pull in the yard knowing that we can finally RELAX. Never a doubt they have our backs. That is a rare attribute to find in any business.Your a great team!
