So I went there to recycle some paper products items and some plastic stuff as well, and they insisted that I put everything in the trash. Is there no recycling here for paper and plastic???

This happened a few months ago. I came in with more than 14 lbs of crushed aluminum cans which I weighed at home. My cans filled one of the orange bins to the brim. An employee with a long beard weighed my cans, but the scale readout was turned so customers couldn't see it. When he read out the cash value ($18+, I also had several pounds of plastic) and not the weight of the cans, I knew I had been shortchanged. The advertised redemption value is $1.65 a lb. I immediately asked him to weigh my cans again, and he said they had already been dumped in the bin. He told me I had 8 lbs of cans, which I told him was not true. A letter I mailed to BB Disposal's manager was not answered.

Since when did they start being closed on Thursdays? That's 3 days/week they're closed now! Sundays make sense but why Mondays also & now, very randomly during the middle of the week, Thursdays!? It just doesn't make any sense; &, if those are always going to be the days that they're closed from now on, then why not stay open till 5pm on Saturdays or maybe even a little later than that like till 6 or 7pm so that the employees don't have to receive as much of a pay reduction due to their hours being cut back by a full days worth of 8 hours, they'd maybe even get to work a little overtime making time & a half wages which would almost compensate for the full day of pay lost, & customers would have more of an opportunity to get paid for all their CRV containers they've collected all week long before having to wait two days till reopening on Tuesdays...feel me!?

Employees weigh everything very quickly to get you in, out and on with your day. They like to cash you out with brand new crisp $5 bills. Free hand sanitizer is offered (it would be awesome if they gave out plastic gloves) but until then... DON'T FORGET TO BRING GLOVES so your hands don't get sticky! This is the fill-up can & weigh style, not put every can & bottle through the conveyor belt hole kind of recycling center
