They are scammers! My family has been coming here for 20 years and have never experienced them scamming us before (or that we know of). The scale came out to 38 pounds for a bin full of crushed aluminum cans, yet only got paid for 8 pounds! Had to cause a scene in order to get barely any more money out of them. Even worse, their logic was that a crushed can weighs more than an uncrushed can (they both weigh the same regardless!)

Not very kind people here. I am alone with 6 recycling bins. The employees watched me struggle to walk them down to the scales and didn't offer to help me. Even when I almost tilted them getting stuck between the cracks in their parking lot a few times. Be a little merciful and compassionate. You see someone struggling with a big load, come help them please! Many of us are here because we are struggling in everyday life right now. Please dont make the process harder on us! Also how come when the scale says 32 or 34 when I get the weight finalized it says 18 & 21? Scammers much? I know s place in Irwindale that is much more legit and they help me with all my baskets from my car. I dont need to come back here. Clearly you dont care anyway.

Extremely unprofessional behavior from the B2B team…come for a site evaluation and talk to management not to employees you have no business talking to. know who your customer is and who is writing your checks.

It takes to many lbs to make a dollar. You need at lease two SUV filled to the front and back to make 40 dollars. Making Recycling worthless.

I don't like coming here cause I came and it's early im the only here and they pass by saw me and didn't attend me I waited for 3 mins

Daughter wanted to earn money and this is how she's doing it. Staff was nice and helped us even with the language barrier. B will definitely be back

I have been going to Allan Company recycling centers for years. I used to go to the Monrovia site before it closed, then moved to the Baldwin Park location and have always had a positive experience. Yesterday was exceptional, though, thanks to Sergio. He prevented me from making a grave error (I almost put the glass in the wrong barrel) and then assisted me through the rest of my visit. Employees like Sergio keep me coming back to the Allan Company Recycling Center.

Friendly and easy. They are very busy on a Saturday afternoon. Grab an empty container for each type of recyclable, the guy gives you a receipt and the cashier gives you the money. Easy.

This company also sells on Facebook they had videos of all the Kawasaki tyrex 800s every time I asked about a part it would say how can I help you finally I posted pictures of my machine the parts that I wanted and no service at all finally I was told to go somewhere else so I will I'll go somewhere else every time I need a part and I work on a lot of machines

This place rip you off and they know how to do it . The Ben's they have there are all high 16.2 , 17.8. 19.0 they give u less money coz of the weights of the bins and they know how to do Jewel you down , and on the computer if it high they give you other receipt. . This place need new Bin's way lower than what they have. all bins should be the sames 10.0 , 12.0, 14 0. , 15.0 not all Dee's diff numbers bins .stop ripping the customers off.this place know how to scammed us customers .people's need watch out look at the the scale weight of your recycles then look at your our receipt. This place never payout good always lowball n the customers

I’ve never had a problem with any of the staff. Yeah, the place gets crowded but I try to go early in the morning or 1 hour before closing. It’s usually empty and I don’t have to deal with not finding any parking. I’m in and out within 10-15 minutes.

I used to drive farther for my recycling to a plant i went to with my dad about 40 years ago only because i was familiar with it. When that plant closed last year, i started coming here because it was closer to home and I am glad I did! I like this place so much better. They have plenty of parking, more than enough bins for you to empty your recycling into so you don't have to wait for others to finish. There seems to never be a line to process your recycling and they have more than one cashier where you can get your money. I highly recommend taking your recycling here!

Sergio and Eric and Joanna made this the very best recycling experience ever. This is my first time here. I had hands on help from everyone I encountered. The most positive, professional, fun, and awesome team here. It felt so welcoming and great to come here. You get good bang for your buck I ran away with $22 and some change and it was a bunch of cardboard, some cans, glass, and plastic bottles. I never want to go anywhere else anymore this is my new favorite recycling spot. They are so wonderful totally made my whole day! Thank you thank you thank you!

Good place, ive been coming here to recycle since i was 8. It does get a bit crowded and chaotic at times but overall it great place. Not to sure about the prices since i only drop off, grab the pay and leave

The best place around for all your recycling needs. Everyone is helpful . The ladies in the boths are all very nice with great customer service skills and a shout out to the brunette with the hair combed back one very smart and beautiful Lady .

I started coming here as a regular 8 years ago. As time went on, stuff they use to buy is no longer bought were other places do buy them. I didnt mind the long lines but there be times with the long lines to only have 1 of the 2 scales being home

Its the place to make money after a long day of collecting cans, plastic bottle's, glass bottle's and yes cardboard as well . good place to depend on , they always pay and great customer service, shout out to FRANSICO, VICTORIA AND ALL THE GUYS ON THE FLOOR THAT TAKE THE HEAT AND HELP US OUT AND OF COURSRE THE WONDERFUL LOVELY LADIES IN THE BOOTHS, ESPICIALY THE WOMEN WITH HER HAIR SLICKED BACK BRUNETTE THAT YELLS AT ME IF I DONT HAVE MY MASK AND SHE ALSO WORKS AT THE MONROVIA BRANCH I THINK ON TUESDAYS YOU ARE SO BEAUTIFULL!!!! , . I DONT GO ANYWHERE ELSE.

I am 60 years old. The employees have been nothing but kind and informative. When I go by myself they help me empty my bags into their containers. They help move containers to the line. They also have taken time teach me how to separate so I get the most money out of my recycling.

If I could I would give no stars what a joke this place is I had 160 lb of clean copper and there top employees had the nerve to say I had junk copper and it was only worth $0.02 A lb I about lost it but as a American customer I I said no thanks I will take my business to someone that cares and I did. So I got my $2.00 A lb for the 160lb of copper not $.02 do the math shame on this company never again will I ever do business or walk in to this place again.

Short Mexican lady is rud af! Was throwing my bottles at me saying they had water which they didn't. Grabbed them to show her and she said no I'm not taking those. Would be a nien place if she wasntwso rude.

The short latina lady was very rude to my parents who are in their late 70's. The Staff here are very rude to elderly people. My parents been going there for 25 years and never met this rude staff. Is there also a weight limit there (100 pounds)?

This place pays decently, and the staff is very helpful. I come here exclusively to do ALL my recycling. They take EVERYTHING, even if they don't pay out on certain stuff, they still dispose of it for you, and the landfills are better off cause of it.

This place uses rigged scales. Called and was treated poor. Left two messages no one calls back. Im an Army Vet and it makes sick to know I was ripped off, treated like a problem i also noticed my skin color made the cashiers look down on me. Saw how others got smiles and small chat in spanish i get hissed at cause im a gavacho. Im 4th generation here! screw being treated like im a problem. This is not over, not by a long shot!!!

Been gping here a few times now. Always felt scammed but it is close by. Finally checked reviews and wow! Im now sure I was getting ripped off since a lot of experienced written on here I have gone through my self :(

Went to recycle my plastics and cans today, after getting my slips to get paid for my recyclables, I handed the cashier a competitor coupon, the cashier informs me they don't take generated computer coupons, only paper printed from newspapers. Does Allen's not know that 99% of coupons come from on line publications. They advertise that they take competitors coupons, what a SCAM. Beware of this business. If they can scam you for a coupon, what else will they scam you for? Btw well I was there, a older lady was checking in a man in front of me and she started going through his bottle recyclables, the lady notice a few bottles that must of not been crv bottles, so she put them to a side and weight the mans bottles and gave him his slip for cashier. As soon as he left the area, the woman got the bottles that were not accept and broke them in a big dumpster with the mans another recyclables that were accepted. I guess in bulk and bottles being broken, the company Allen's sell to will never know the difference. So much for HONESTY. Bottles not good for customers to get credit, but good enough for Allen's to get credit. WOW!
