Do NOT call this company for any services. I would strongly suggest avoiding them. Less than 45 minutes after a small accident, I stopped by a family member’s apartment to quickly drop off groceries. I unloaded everything and went inside briefly to use the restroom. When I came back outside, a big bald guy with glasses and tattoos from Five Points Towing already had my car hooked up to his tow truck. His reason? He claimed I was parked in a “fire lane.” There were NO fire lane markings and NO signs anywhere. As I walked up, I told him I had just arrived and was already leaving, but he said he didn’t care and kept repeating something about a fire lane. He also claimed the property manager called him, but the manager actually came outside and said she never called. His attitude was extremely hostile and unprofessional. When I asked for information about the tow report or proof of the violation, he said he had already taken pictures but that makes no sense because he hooked up my car right as I was coming outside. He then even admitted they sometimes drive around apartment complexes with contracts just looking for cars to tow. That sounds like predatory towing practices to me. Honestly, I’m not even upset about the possibility of being towed. What really bothered me was the dishonesty, attitude, and lack of professionalism. I also want to say: Ramon, his partner who was there, seemed like a decent guy. Sorry you had to witness that behavior from your coworker. You looked like someone with a good heart hopefully you stay true to that. To everyone else: please be careful and avoid this company if you can. Be aware of predatory towing tactics and dishonest practices.

Absolutely predatory, shady, and unethical towing company. Stay FAR away. Five Points Towing towed my car while I was not even home, despite my vehicle being legally parked at my mom’s private apartment complex — in the correct spot — with NO posted signage stating that backing in was prohibited. When I went to retrieve my car, the girl at the office claimed there were “signs everywhere” and refused to go back and forth with me. So I did exactly what any reasonable person would do — I went back to the apartment complex and photographed the entire property. Not a single sign anywhere mentions that backing in is not allowed. No warning. No disclosure. Nothing. Their claim was simply false. They then demanded $610 CASH ONLY — no card accepted — for a tow that was literally about 10 minutes away, on Super Bowl Sunday, no less. For the record, cash-only payment demands like this are not legal in California. The whole interaction felt less like a legitimate business transaction and more like a shakedown. The facility itself is in a sketchy neighborhood, and the staff were arrogant and intimidating. They only allow one person inside at a time, which creates an uncomfortable, hostile environment — exactly as described in many other reviews. The employees clearly enjoy the power trip and treat customers with complete disrespect. This company relies on predatory practices, nonexistent or misleading signage, and intimidation to squeeze money out of people who are parked where they are allowed to be. The fact that so many reviews describe the same behavior says everything. Stay away. Do not give this company your money. Report them.

Worst experience ever I literally lost my car because of this company I moved in 3 months ago at Rosemead in the garvey apartments we have had three managers in 3 months manager didn't authorized just like the person reported before me and this was you same thing wanted to charge me crazy amount of money wouldn't take card payment they said I didn't have a parking permit but I was never provided one I've heard that many neighbors have gone through the same thing so I feel like it's like a tactic they have if the manager doesn't authorize it then it's against the law if anybody else has gone through this hit me up look me up on Instagram I go by Erikarodriguez5310 this is out there and this is a scam I'm beyond disappointment.

On October 12, 2025, my car was towed from my apartment complex on Rosemead Blvd in Rosemead, California by Five Points Towing LLC (based in Irwindale). I had run upstairs for just 5 minutes to grab something, with my emergency lights on, and when I came back down, the tow truck was already pulling away with my car. I ran after the driver, and he saw me chasing him, but kept driving off without stopping or saying a word. At first, I thought my car was being stolen — I even called another number trying to figure out what was happening, because the towing signs didn’t have the company’s phone number listed, which is required by California law. When I finally located my car, the company demanded $610 in cash only, refusing to accept card payments — a direct violation of California Vehicle Code §22658. The property manager later confirmed they never authorized the tow, making this likely an illegal and predatory towing incident. I have video proof of the cash payment, the receipt, and the excessive fees they charged. I will be sharing this video on YouTube and local news channels to warn others in the Rosemead and Irwindale area about Five Points Towing LLC and their unfair and possibly unlawful practices.

Very good customer service and they came to get my car fast with reasonable pricing.
