Called at 2pm to get a tow while stuck on the side of i-880. They said they'd be there in 30 minutes. At 3:20 I texted asking for an update, then called 15 minutes later when I saw my text had been read but not responded to
According to the the person I spoke to, they thought I had cancelled and said they needed to talk to a manager to determine their new ETA.
At 4:03 they finally responded that their ETA would be an extra 45 minutes.
I officially cancelled my service and called a different company. That lack of professionalism is absolutely astounding.
Sketchy dudes, left me hanging for 2 hours after saying 45 mintutes, then when i called the dispatcher didnt take any of my information and told me 45 minutes then put me on hold and hung up on me, needless to say i called action towing and got a ride in 20 minutes, thanks guys ?

I was on the side of the freeway on 280 by the entrance of Ocean ave/Alemany Blvd waiting for a tow truck to come pick me up since I had a flat tire and didn't want to risk it driving further up.
Called insurance to have a tow truck pick me up, but the waiting time is about an hour or 2.
I called Juan and checked to see if he can help me out. He said yes and in about 20-25 min he came thru with the tow truck. Took me to rolling stock and we exchanged info after that.

I purchased a car they posted on Facebook Marketplace with all cash. When I arrived, I checked the car's interior and oil. I wanted to test drive it, but there was no gas in the car. The guy told me I could only take it around the block because of the lack of gas. He assured me the car had no problems.
After purchasing the car, I went to the gas station. Within 5 minutes of driving off from the gas stations, the check engine light and transmission light came on. I immediately took the car back to the shop and told them I wanted my money back—this was within 20 minutes of the sale. But they refused.
They told me it was an "as-is" sale.
Needless to say, they had cleared the codes and left no gas in the car, preventing me from driving far enough for the warning lights to come on before I purchased the vehicle. The car was sold to me under false pretenses, and they did not disclose its true "as-is" condition.
Now, I have to take them to court. Tragic!
Horrible customer service. Dispatched them for a tow in the evening and they were supposed to arrive within an hour at 8:45 pm. At 9:20 PM I attempted to contact them and they continuously forwarded my phone call to voice mail leaving me stranded in the middle of the night. What type of human being does that, let alone an emergency service provider.

After my car broke down on a deserted stretch of road, I called roadside assistance and they assigned Charly's Towing & Auto Repair Californiafor assistance, hoping for a swift resolution to my predicament. Little did I know, I was about to embark on a six-hour ordeal of frustration, anger, and disbelief.
Upon calling, I was assured by the dispatcher that a tow truck would arrive within an hour. However, that hour turned into two, then three, and eventually stretched into an agonizing six-hour wait. Not only did they repeatedly lie about their estimated time of arrival, but they also stopped picking up the phone altogether, leaving me stranded with no recourse.
The lack of communication was appalling; despite my numerous attempts to reach them, I was met with nothing but silence on the other end of the line. It became painfully obvious that they had no intention of honoring their commitment to assist me, leaving me feeling helpless and abandoned in my hour of need.
In conclusion, if you value your time, sanity, and peace of mind, do yourself a favor and steer clear of Charly's Towing & Auto Repair California at all costs. They are a disgrace to the towing industry and should be avoided like the plague. Consider yourself warned.
