Have been going to Mike’s for years! He and his staff are always friendly, patient and knowledgeable. He saved my husband, who was stranded when his truck wouldn’t start. Got the truck to Mike’s and, despite not having a scheduled appointment, found the problem, ordered the part and got my husband back on the road again in 24 hours. Thank you, Automotive Unlimited!! Wonderful service. Thought I needed new brakes but after they looked they noticed I had good brake pads. I appreciate them not forcing the new ones on me but instead just doing some brake maintenance. Awesome place and highly recommend. I will be back whenever I need service

Mike, Hank, and their capable staff of technicians are wonderful people. They are personable and very generous with their time. Honesty and integrity while providing excellent car care and repair seems quite rare these days. But at ASU, that’s what I have found. The Toyota dealer in Folsom tried to upsell me on an unnecessary repair - to replace the lower control arms and ball joints on my 2013 Highlander (with only 85K miles on it). ASU estimated that I should have another 60,000-80,000 miles before such a repair could become necessary. They saved me $2100. Don’t trust dealers - go to ASU. It cost me just $35 to get a thorough inspection and peace of mind that the car is in great shape. Thank you, ASU.

After having our brakes done they felt soft and unresponsive. I scheduled a follow up appointment and they replaced the brakes free of charge and they are working much better. I appreciate a company that stands behind the work they do.

I wanted to give a BIG shout out Mike and his talented staff on what a great job they did for me with my Ford F-150 Lariat. I had a gasket leak as they promptly fixed the issue but later discovered another issue that could have been a problem if I didn't take care of it right then and there. They had to keep the truck and extra day or so but fixed it proper and the truck runs like a top ! I will be a customer for life ! Thanks Mike, keep up the great work.

I have been taking my vehicles to Mike and the guys for years. They are knowledgable, friendly and reasonably priced. They are honest and trustworthy and I have never had a problem with any repairs they have done to the 4 vehicles that I have taken to them. You can definitely trust them!!

April 9, 2024 My Mini had a maintenance light come on, the brakes were in need of service. Mike, Hank and team diagnosed the issue, repaired the brakes and did a safety check. It also turned out the serpentine belt was showing wear. I always appreciate the thorough service provided and feel safe knowing everything is running well. Update September 6th, 2018 - I took my Mini countryman in for regular maintenance. Service was fantastic, full safety check. I take all my cars to Mike and his team. I always get excellent service with a smile. I took my daughter's SUV in for maintenance. It was leaking oil from somewhere and almost started a fire at a stop light. Mike did through diagnostics, applied the charge to my final bill and made several suggestions of other repairs he could do since he already had the car apart. This kept the labor charges down. The SUV runs great I was able to drive it down to bay area and back to bring my daughter back from college for the summer. Thanks to Mike and the fine people at Automotive Services Unlimited my daughter can drive her SUV in safety. Since I found out they are also certified for Mini and even my Smart Car I have a great place to take my other vehicles. Thank you Mike and company for the great service! August 18, 2016 After the great experience I received with our SUV I brought my wife's Mini in for it's 60,000 mile service. Mike and company did a fantastic job running through everything on the car top to bottom. They found it needed brakes front and back. I wasn't expecting to both at the same time but Mike did a great explaining the need and showing me how much of the existing brakes I had left. Automotive Services Unlimited has kind and courteous people who take time to explain everything in detail to your satisfaction. December 4th 2023 I took my mini in for standard services. Hank, Mike and team did the standard wonderful job competing the service and suggesting a few things to think about to repair in the coming months. Another great job and much appreciated.

This was my third experience with ASU. True professionals here with a friendly/family touch. Mike and Hank in particular were generous with their time, and recommendations on what the priorities were to keep my vehicle running and performing efficiently. I have always felt comfortable and secure with their work ethics and reliability. Glad I was able to find a trustworthy and professional group so close to home.

When experience, good communication and honest work with fair pricing matters. The guys at Automotive Services Unlimited seem to have the business of fixing vehicles down to a science. I've used them twice now and have been pleased both times.

Mike installed side skirts and lower front splitter on my C7 Corvette. I found him to be a good communicator. He explained his concerns w/the product I provided and what he could do to alleviate those concerns. He did a really good job. Moving forward I will entrust him to service my Vette as opposed to the local dealership. Have a good day.

I have been taking my vehicals here for about 9 years now. Their honesty and integrity is paramount. They are knowledgeable and accommodating of financial needs to prioritize work to reduce cost. Hank and John are great people that I have interacted with the most over the years though everyone has been awesome. Definatly would recommend Automotive Services Unlimited to anyone.

Had scheduled an oil change and somehow arrived five hours early. Mike and his team said no problem and got me right in and out. Always excellent service on all my repairs and the team is always cheerful and happy to see me. The only place to take your vehicle for repairs.

The folks at ASU are incredibly helpful and friendly, and beyond knowledgeable. Mike was able to squeeze an alignment in for us during a short, holiday week. This was not your typical alignment, which required expert knowledge of some specialty, adjustable components related to a lift and gaining tire clearance on our 4x4. Mike’s expertise gave me 100% comfort in selecting their shop to do this work, and they impressed us from start to finish with their service and communication. If you are in need of any automotive work, I highly recommended them all. Great service, and very nice folks. Thank you!

Can’t rate this shop high enough. Mike and family are the most honest mechanics I’ve ever met. My late grandfather was a tow truck driver and was how I first met Mike when I was still a kid. Since I started driving there is nobody I trust more. There is a reason the shop has a decent wait time without an appointment. Also a reason they have so many 5 star ratings. This is the only place I know I can take my car and will get a honest and fair quote. He sold me my last car (98 escort, bought in 2011) that thing ran for another 12 years before finally crapping out(split flywheel) Good people that you should feel good about taking your car too. Most recently he serviced my 2013 Mazda 3 which had the engine light stuck on. After he ran the codes he let me know if was ok to drive without causing further damage until I could make an appointment. Once the appointment was made he had it serviced and back to me in 2 days at a very fair price for parts and labor. He also took the time to explain what he did, what he found, and how he fixed it. Again I can’t recommend this shop enough. You won’t find more honesty and integrity in my opinion

Automotive Services is truly one of the best auto service centers in Cameron Park area. We have been using them for 15+ yrs. Mike/Hank and their techs are knowledgeable and go out of their way to make sure your vehicle is fixed right and at a reasonable price, much better than the dealerships. Highly recommended
