This is a great automotive place! From the moment I walked in, Debbie and Ken made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. I brought my vehicles here for several years for routine maintenance until I finally realized that every time 1-2 weeks later I had to bring it back for an unrelated issue costing $100-400. While talking to Debbie about an unrelated issue on the results of an oil leak test on my daughter's car, out of the blue she said "my guys would never do anything to hurt your car". That confirmed my suspicions that her guys WERE doing something to get me back in the shop for thousands on unneeded work. Now I go to Foothill Auto Service on Durock for trustworthy work at a much better price. You should too.
I would give them a 0 but it’s not an option. I saw a mechanic a tall man pushing the only Mexican man working there. I went back today and was told the Mexican employee was the one who was fired. I saw the entire thing and I just can’t go to a place that displays such racism.
The only place to take your vehicle.

I’m new to California and needed a smog test for my vehicle. Ken got me an appointment at the last minute.
When I brought my car in, Debbie was friendly and kind. She walked me through the process in California.
Not only was she kind to me, but she had a good word for every person who came through the door.
The stafff is efficient, the shop is clean and the price is reasonable.

This is without a doubt the best shop I've ever been too. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. My daughter's car is very old and they take very good care of her. They always make sure she leaves in a safe car. I would highly recommend this shop.
I made an appointment for a suspension inspection. I left my vehicle in the morning before they opened. Got a call about 8:30 and Debbie said they were going to be inspecting my vehicle. I called at 1:30, 1:45 and 2:00 and got no answer. I showed up just after 3 pm to hear that my vehicle hadn't been looked at yet. I was told "it was next". Very frustrating to make an appointment, be called and told they were going to inspect, I tried to call and verify completion, only to show up and find out nothing had been done. I won't be back.
I drive from Sacramento to come to this shop whenever my car is having issues, the staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. Can’t say enough good things.
Was treated very poorly here. The mechanic broke my battery terminal and wanted me to pay for the part replacement and for the repair. After I disagreed and reminded him that he's the one who told me he broke it, he berated me & cursed at me in the parking lot in front of other customers. I wouldn't recommend this shop to anyone I know. There are more reputable and respectful shops in and around Cameron Park. Their estimate was over $4500. I just picked up my vehicle from another shop & it was $3000 less out the door. If you like being price gouged then this is the place for you.
Even when they appear busy they complete work quickly. While waiting for my car I was able to observe their impressive range of knowledge and excellent customer service. Debbie is amazing. I would not hesitate to return for any needed service. Highly recommend.
Had my car towed to Cameron Park Automotive late on Friday. The owner happened to be there, she was very friendly and understanding. She offered a rental car for us and made sure we had a ride home. The work was done quickly and professionally. The car is running great and will be having my vehicle serviced here going forward.
Highly recommend Cameron Park Automotive as your go-to place for car servicing. The staff are very knowledgeable, kind, and are great at explaining details for someone who isn't that car savvy. In particular, the staff always remember my name, and make it a point to check in on how I'm doing. I generally wait when I get my car serviced, and find myself in really interesting, thoughtful conversations about anything and everything. It's a wonderful experience!
So impressed with this shop. Spoke to Ken and he got me right in. Fixed my issue. Was so refreshing to have somebody available and willing to look at my car on the spot. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend
Debbie and her crew are the best! I have had m y cars maintained there for over twenty years. They helped me completely restore a vintage car. They are thorough, technical. competent and friendly. I highly recommend them.
Got my grandmaster cylinder replaced here and they did it incorrectly. Car broke down after 3 days. They fixed it free of charge but I already had to pay for a tow and was put at danger since the clutch failed randomly while driving.

Cameron Park Automotive is great. Deb and Ken are nice and easy to talk to and the shop does good work They have serviced my trucks, Subarus, and Prius. I recently called them for a smog inspection on an older vehicle and again I was impressed with the service.
We are so pleased with Cameron Park Automotive and will continue to take our vehicles there... Honest and ethical in every way.... LOVE the way Debbie and RIch explain exactly what is going on and what needs to be done. No upsale from these folks.... THANK YOU for allowing me trust a shop that doesn't take advantage of someone who knows very little about cars!
Another garage told me I needed a repair (drive belt replacement) so I called here to price check. Not only was their quote lower, but once I brought it in, they investigated further and told me I did not even need the repair at this time. They also took the liberty to check on a couple other minor issues that I had been ignoring (tire pressure sensor and steering wheel tremors) and, after consulting me about the price, fixed them at a great rate. Honest garage and great customer service; would highly recommend!
Debbie is the best. I took my car here to fix my check engine light problem. They ended up being $200 cheaper then another garage. I highly recommend them.

I have a 1968 Mustang that I took into their shop for a carb tuneup. They were extremely helpful, nice, and did a great job. The car is running better than I have ever seen before, the care they put into their work is impressive, couldn't be happier.
