Hodges responded to a service call through AAA. Because it was Christmas Day, I expected a long wait. The driver, Cody, responded within 30 minutes. He was polite, friendly, prompt, and professional. I appreciate his promptness and his professional attitude. I would definitely recommend Hodges!
Cody was just amazing. I firmly believe, along with my mom who was with me at the time, that he really needs to get a raise. Other places like to talk down to women but Cody explained things in an easy to understand way without condescension. I hope andy time my family, or anyone else's family, needs to call Hodges that they get Cody. Thanks again and have a great year. ?
Hodges was called out to a fender bender I had a couple days ago. The cop called as a favor to me, not because it was emergent, but because I wasn't sure what to do having just been in the wreck. Hodges showed up and loaded my car up on the tow truck. After having it all strapped down and ready to go, they tell me they can't take it unless I pay cash. $382. I didn't have that much cash on me. I had a card and he wouldn't take it. They said because the cop called and not me, they have to have cash before they take it. Luckily I had a friend stop to check on me and had cash. We gave the guy $400 and he said he could take it because he didn't have change. We had to go to a nearby restaurant to get change. It was just a big mess. Who would know to call instead of the cop calling and who would have exact change for a tow. When I called them they were not helpful, they were rude and ended up hanging up on me. I should have had them drop my car and called someone else. Horrible service and crappy people
First off I am sure Hodges Towing and Recovery does an excellent job when the driver is willing to do their job! Or better said Hodges Towing and Recovery is a professional business with spectacular skills at their craft and able to perform that with effectiveness. However in my case I must have found the wrong guy on the wrong day. Called Hodges Towing and Recovery to move two empty shipping containers less than half a mile - Something dispatch ensured me would be no problem, location with map reviewed, and gained input from a retired driver before even making the phone call in the first place. So excited for the move I met the driver at the location. No "How are you doing?"... No "Okay, so we want to try and move the containers I understand?"... Nope none of that. Right out of the gate met with brute, blunt, and frankly rude attitude (verbal and nonverbal). Without even attempting to do anything at all the driver advised me he would be paid "now" for his drive and then continued to carry on immediately (I'm talking not even enough time to take five steps to the vehicle) that he needs to be paid. Wow, you talk about an absolute ace of a guy! (sarcasm there). After asking him if he would even attempt a move and a friendly conversation about the prep work, information provided, and individuals spoken with the driver attempted to access the container - Better said he made some moneuevers. After damaging a carport onsite and odd behavior that's as far as we got. What did I get in the end? Only after pleading damaged property, absurd interaction, and $350 paid for the experience. It was interesting though that after the driver was paid $350 his dimeanor changed and even some apologies from the driver. Alas the story did end well! Called Scotty's Storage in Russellville and their stellar driver (in a similar semi and even bigger trailer) moved both containers with ease and absolute professionalism! Scotty's did such a good job and was so nice I even offered to buy them lunch, one of the best interactions ever and really have to say this as it was everything I wished my call with Hodges would have been but wasn't.
Hodges service was a great help on my motorhome. After having work done on the steer axle a week earlier somewhere else, I took it to them after hearing some noise. The shop found a couple of issues from the previous repairs, made the corrections, and explained what and why. Matt was a super service manager. Very pleased with the results.
Great service!! My car would not start up this morning, called AAA and hodges came out quickly. Jeremy was great this morning. He was polite, pleasant and smiling. He fixed my issue jumping my car battery and even checked and filled our tires. I highly recommend this company. Using AAA in the past all the representatives from Hodges have been great to work with. Thank you!

They charged $100 to come jump my car, but when they got there they "tried" and it didn't work. Didn't even give it enough juice to turn over. Then the guy who rode in the passenger seat said let me check that's it's hooked up right in our truck which the driver told him not to do that it was fine. Then proceeded to offer to go get me a battery for cost of battery plus $75 delivery. I declined. My neighbor got home about 30 minutes later I asked for a jump used my $15 jumper cables and guess what it started almost immediately. Talk about a scam.
A leaf spring broke on my travel trailer on Sunday as I was passing through town. I called and went in about 8:30 Monday. They measured the spring and by 10 had sourced the part locally. It was fixed by 1:30. Awesome service!

My son and I were stranded on the side of I-40 and Cory immediately called after I contacted my insurance and as soon as I informed him that my son was in the car, he immediately started pitching contingencies for making sure my son felt safe and comfortable.

AAA had these guys come out and they were very nice and friendly. Got me to a hotel room and my car to a shop and had a nice chat with the driver. Good people and good first impression from an out of stater.
Robert came out and helped us with a van that wouldn't start. Having just moved to town it was so refreshing to meet such a down to earth all around good guy. He fixed the problem quickly and was friendly and gave us some tips on areas to check out. We'll definitely be using Hodges again if we ever need assistance!
I first off thought they were pretty friendly until they used a picture of our boat on the interstate to use as what they call spreading awareness. When in fact the post itself was disrespectfully worded. I will never use them again. Don't use someone's loss and say things you have no clue about especially when it was false.
The young man Robert, who came to my and my babies n puppies rescue was the greatest! He was very caring n understanding and he went out of his way to help me with my jeep. He went above n beyond!! I ended up in a ditch on my property in an ice storm. I called Hodges and they sent a tow truck out almost immediately. He pulled my out of the ditch but would not tow me to the road. As soon as I realized I couldn’t drive up the side road I was on I called the tow truck operator who ignored my call. I then called dispatch. I was told that the tow truck operator said he couldn’t pull me to the road because he was afraid he’d get stuck. It was a large flat bed tow truck and he drove easily to the road. After 2 hours I managed to get about 100 feet up the track before I couldn’t go any further. A friend came out in his REGULAR SIZE PICK UP and easily pulled me to the road. I feel that the tow truck operator just didn’t want to do anything else once I was out of the ditch. Will not ever use them again and would definitely not recommend.
Getting our vehicle back from them was a bit of a nightmare and I apologize for anyone having to deal with them because of how obtuse they manage their towed vehicles.
If your vehicle gets towed because of it being pulled over and the officers use these guys, you’ll first have to call and ask them if they have your vehicle, and then you’ll need to head over to their office to meet the person who towed it in after telling him which office you’ll be at, he may or may not call you back to tell you he’s there, but it probably depends on the person.
Once you meet with the tower, he’ll give you the receipt which will likely be over $500 that you will only be to pay in cash, you CAN NOT use a card or checks so be sure to bring a large amount of cash ahead of time. On top of that, your car may not even be there, it might be in another lot, so you’ll probably need to ask for directions.
It is ridiculous that your vehicle isn’t brought to you, or in a clear location, as mine was obscured by trees and fences.
Highly recommend for travelers. Very pleasant experience. Popped tire on RT40 the driver was very communicative and had the knowledge to take our car to the walmart. People from East Coast don't have repair shops in walmart. Thank you Hodges!
This phone call was around 2:30 in the morning and he treated us just like it was 10:00 a.m. in the morning. the service you could not beat. the gentleman was friendly and reassuring. he understood we had a young woman on the side of the road and they got right on our issue.
Great! Great! Service. My pregnant sister and her boyfriend were on the side of the interstate with an exploded tire AND their son who just had mouth surgery in the car AND it was raining. I called Hodges for them and they were there SUPER fast for where they were actually located. They changed the tire and most importantly, my family was off the side of the interstate and home safe VERY quickly.

Hodges towed my vehicle which had broke down on me and I left unattended for maybe 24 hrs, but I was given no notices and since that same day I have tried to meet someone to release it but they tell me that no-one is available and they add $45 per day cost. I originally didn't have the $242 of the first day, but since the 3rd day I have had that much, yet I don't receive responses to my inquiries to get my property out of the vehicle nor the vehicle itself. Hodges Towing is a predator in my opinion.
I live in another state but needed to send out a tow truck when my son broke down on I-40 about 50 miles outside of Russellville. They made contact with my son right away and got him and his vehicle back to Russellville safely for a fairly reasonable price.
Called out for a flat tire....
The drive broke the tool to my spare tire and there for could not get my spare tire down to put on vehicle..
So driver (RS) offers to take tire off, drive to nearest shop with us and let us get tire fixed. On the way back the drive charges us $49.05 for taking us to shop and say his boss made him do it!!
Really, you broke my tool ($39.95 to replace) and now you want me to pay you when my Roadside assistant would cover it!!!
I would. It recommend or use these rip off artists ever again!! And neither should you!!
