My truck broke down and my mechanic of several years had passed away. A friend recommended that I call Kevin at Russellville Auto Repair and I done just that. Kevin diagnosed my problem and laid out what needed to be done. He gave me upfront worst case to best case so I could decide what to do. Kevin was honest with me and I appreciate that. He done needed repairs at a fair price and service was quick. I now have a new mechanic. Give Kevin a try. You won’t be sorry.

My wife had a wreck in Russellville and I came from Fort Smith with a car trailer to pick up the car.
In process of loading I severely twisted my knee and could NOT walk or tie down the car.
Called this place and Kevin (think that’s right) came over, secured the vehicle made sure I was able to hobble to truck …at no cost!!!! A generous act of kindness that will always be remembered!!!
They did a great job repairing what was broken, however, when it came down to paying, the price was not what was quoted to me. They changed other parts (without consulting me) and that put me in a bind since I was on a budget. It felt inconsiderate to me to tell me a price then turn around when it's time to pay and add another $100 to the total without talking to me about it. I even called the shop to ask how it was going and they never said anything about extra parts until I was paying for it. They ended up taking the labor off for the extra parts but I still had to pay for the parts I never asked for to begin with.
If I could give more than 5 stars I would. He was so so nice and helpful. He got me in super fast and was not condescending like other places can be. He couldn’t fix what was going on because I needed a part from my dealership, but gave me advice and was honest about prices and what to expect at my dealership and other places. He did a lot to try and figure out what was going on, but when I asked what I owed him he said “Oh nothing, I won’t charge if I couldn’t fix it.” Seriously 20/10, actually 30/10. Towdog gets his own 10 points, he’s super cute and stood by me the whole time!
I took my Hummer to Kevin because his shop came highly recommended by a friend of mine and because Kevin is a veteran. I always try and give my money to a veteran owned business when I can.
I needed a new radiator on the Hummer and told Kevin, if I need a new hoses, replace them and if I need a new belt, he could replace it too. It was his call.
Well I did not need anything more replaced other then the radiator but he just as easily could have changed. he other parts that were not needed, and charged me more labor...and I would have never known the difference.
The work was quick and the Hummer is running fine. We will use Kevin's shop again if we need to in the future!
Kevin was willing to help with my hybrid vehicle when no one else in town would. He patiently explained all the concerns and error codes to me throughout the process and was able to get my vehicle fixed at a dealership for free (due to a recall that someone less honest might have not told me about)! I strongly believe in supporting small business, and if I were ever to need these services again, I would call Kevin! Thank you again!!!
The folks at Russellville Auto are honest and dependable. They will only repair what you came in for and agreed to. Kevin, Tracy and "TowDog" will make your visit as hassle free as possible. I wouldn't take my vehicle anywhere else.
I can’t thank Kevin and his crew enough. I was stranded, They picked me up, repaired my car and even discovered something that could’ve caused catastrophic damage. They were super friendly and helpful. I will be taking all my vehicles here from now on.
If I could give zero stars I would, I brought my Suv in for couple parts, it Ran fine,started fine, had a cool running air unit when it entered, less than 12 hours later after pickup I was stranded with NO air, wouldn't start, never had those issues since owning it, called kevin & he was rude & even went as far to complain bout how customer's has the nerve to blame him for messing up there rides on social media..do NOT recommend!!!!
