Absolutely great place to buy parts or engines. Wonderful customer service couldn't ask for better guys. These are the good ol boys that ya don't find in many places anymore. I'll definitely be back for more parts and salvage. Thank yall

The owners lie about the quality of their parts, he lies about his warranty, he lies about his added credit card charges. I am currently working with the bank and the police to get a refund for rusted out parts he sold

Had to wait several minutes although the place wasn't crowded. They did bring out battery to car.

It was a rainy, nasty day when I was there.....yet I was taken care of in a professional and courteous manner with a fair price. I highly recommend them!

This is to inform you BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THIS COMPANY! Dishonest and greedy owner. Will not stand good for bad engines. Bought an engine supposedly low miles. I drove 5.5 hours and At time of picking up the engine was not like advertised. I was concerned about the engine. Missing fuel lines, burnt injectors, and uncapped intake and some lines open. After I was promised they would stand good for any bad engines I took it. Once installed we found the injection pump and injectors had to be changed. (More time spent replacing parts) After spending money on that we fired up but the engine has a knock with a bad rod. Upon calling in for help in replacing it. We were told owner refuses to stand good for it. Why because it’s over the 90 day warranty,!! Ok so over 90 days (it’s 110 days to be exact) what difference does that make for a bad engine in the first place. I guess it went bad while we were sleeping. (We are $14000 with nothing but a bad engine. That’s no fun to be 14k out and still no engine) (that’s ouch ? )Just stay away. Better places around to do business with.

Told me 10mins to get a radiator that was supposedly unbolted…30mins later, no radiator and not a care at all about it. This was a waste of my life’s time. Stupid me for trusting their word.

Ordered a part waited five days tried to get a tracking number they said they never got my email confirmation back maybe some of these places should learn about docusign to make things a little smoother needless to say cancel the order.

Called at 9am for a part. Guy said yeah we have it ill call it in and have them bring it right over. 3 hours pass i go to location amd ask about it and the same, ill have a guy bring it. More hours pass and they close. 48 hours later i got it from another store for roughly 10% cheaper and they took 17 minutes to the T.

I received good customer service and professionalism. The puller retrieved my parts and did not damage anything...made sure I got all the screws and hardware associated with the part purchased.

Randy was very easy to work with. I needed an old car to be junked out located in Russellville and he was very down to earth and helpful. And I know from getting quotes from other yards that he paid the most. (But don't expect very much metal prices are down right now). I recommend.

The reviews in here must be from employees. I drove over an hour for the guy at the desk to tell me how anything I buy was going to be 30$ minimum for every piece no matter how small and that he didn't have the time. I've never heard so many excuses so quick. Don't waste your time.

Made the drive from central Iowa for a truck box. Price was great. Box condition was excellent. Josh was easy to work with and accommodating!

Rudest people I've ever had the misfortune of communicating with. There impatient an disdainful. An dont waste your time with them on the phone there too incompetent to answer a simple question.

Terrible customer service. The guys seem like they just don't want to be there, I was checking on parts and the guy took a personal phone call for about 5 minutes and just left me standing there. The prices are high, higher than other local yards. The U-Pick part is reasonable but the location on Highway 7t is ridiculous.

Had my engine replaced and rebuilt at Barefield's. Only had to come back 1 time for a little tweeking, that's expected after such a big job. I would recommend this business to anyone that wants the job done right. I tell everyone I know about the quality work these people put forth.

3 stars based solely on a phone call. Though I only inquired about an engine cradle (for an '05 to '10 Charger/Magnum/Chrysler 300) gentleman on the phone was quick to inform me of all that I asked offered me the lowest price & best deal within 90 miles of my location (so far----and I've called nearly 15 salvage yards; all wanting at least $40-$50 more for the part I needed----).

Recently my father had an auto accident with me in the passenger seat. His truck still ran, but the crash wrecked the bumper, running lights and grill. My father called the owner by phone and was told good prices for new replacements and that they had everything. This went all downhill upon our arrival at Barefields Auto Salvage, they only had the running lights on the computer...and took 5 minutes to bring it out, only for it to be the newer model which was not going to fit. About this time, the owner walks in and knows exactly what to look for and where. He brings out the assembly for behind the headlights and correct running lights and takes back off... Before my dad buys them, I asked to look them over as they are NOT NEW, and wrapped in clear plastic...and had a broken post... My dad just buys the Assembly wanting the trip to not be a total waste. Upon getting home, we double check and though the assembly is new, it is also BROKEN... And so my Dad has left to get another or a refund and I stay at home to write this. total time spend, around 45 minutes. total parts acquired, 0%. would visit again, 0%. would recommend, only to rich snobs and people I hate.
