I was traveling with my boat from Lake Powell back to Phoenix. I was able to see some sparks and saw that the dust cap on the wheel had exited the wheel. I was able to pull off on General Crook trail and saw there was an Auto Zone only 1.5 miles down the road. I was able to limp the trailer to their parking lot and was able to get the bearings I needed in at 7:30AM the next morning. They were all very helpful in allowing me to overnight in my truck while waiting for parts. They also came out and checked on me during the night. I really appreciated them for helping.
I do also love that they are only about 75 feet away from an O'Reilly's Parts place who had the other bearing. They both worked as a team and not as competitors.

My husband and I were on our way to P.V. for a quick trip and about 1/3 of the way through 169 to 69 my car went into "limp" mode and threw a check engine light. We stopped by autozone in P.V. for my husband to read the code for the engine light. After getting the code, My husband called Connor at the Camp Verde autozone to see what his thoughts were as to why this happened. He talked my husband through a few steps and was able to get the ECU to reset so we could make it back home. Connor is super knowledgeable and saved me from having a terrible day! You rock Connor! Keep up the great work and helping those in need! 💙
This location was a life saver today, when I needed an OEM part that my town didn’t have. It was a short drive down there, and an easy to find large location. The store inside was very clean and organized. Shelves were stocked very well with all kinds of auto products. The woman was very friendly at the register, as was the gentlemen who helped us as well. This is a location I would gladly come to again if I needed something my town didn’t have.
Cudos to the guys last night , grant it they don’t carry the item I was looking for but was honest and upfront about it . When I said why I needed it they knew not to try to sell me a substitute anything for it like the guys a few doors down at O’Reillys .
Conner was very helpful-went the extra mile to call for a part at a different store in cottonwood just to makes sure they had if in stock.

In this day and age when customer service is non-existent, I want to congratulate Shaw and his staff at the Camp Verde Autozone for excellent customer service. Shaw and his staff are friendly, competent and always willing to help. Shaw helped me today with a battery issue and then replaced the battery in my car. What a great guy! I will go nowhere else! Thank-you for reminding me of how things used to be.
My car wouldn't start. I was stuck in the Camp Verde P.O. parking lot. AAA said it would take them 2 HOURS! I called Auto Zone to see if they had a battery to fit my car. I figured I'd better get a new one after AAAjumped me. Shaw from Auto Zone said he'd send Bill to jump me and they'd test the battery when I got to the shop. Turns out a cable was loose and battery no good. After Bill installed the battery perfectly (I checked it) I thanked him and handed him a $5 bill. He refused it! I was shocked because that was a FIRST! Bottom line: they rescued me. Saved me 2 hours of misery and provided first rate customer service! From the bottom of my heart...THANK YOU! Shaw and Bill....my heros! 💞

The best customer service I have seen in a long time. I broke a belt on the 17 and Shaw brought it to me and helped put it on. He was there in just minutes, then waited to make sure we were good to go.
Our battery died in camp Verde at the storeoff the freeway. We called Autozone and an associate named Adam B was able to meet us there to replace the battery for us. He went above and beyond to help us. Greatly appreciate his help and would recommend for sure. Very friendly and informative.
Was headed to Sedona for the holiday and our tire light came on and we didn’t know how to use the air pump at the shell and no tire shop was open so we headed to auto zone just to see if anyone was willing to help Adam Came out and checked all the tires and even taught us how to check them and what we can use to do so. This might not seem as much but as girls traveling on our own all the time it was so USEFUL. Thanks Adam for just being a great human today!
Oh my goodness! I was so stressed and scared! My daughter and I and her 3 young children were going camping, pulled into a gas station and when we started the truck backup it didn't start.. It was very hot outside.. After asking around it looked as if it may be the battery. I called AutoZone and Bill C. came right to the gas station with a battery & tools, replaced the battery and the truck still did not start.. (It was the starter). But Bill put back our battery and credited my account the charge of the battery and wouldn't even take a tip for coming out to help. I believe he and AutoZone went above and beyond. You cannot ask anymore from a company than trust, honesty and compassion. Truly a trustworthy business and I recommend them highly!! Thank you so much Bill for your concern for me and my children.
Great prompt service! I was moving across state lines and searched for an auto parts store when my battery began giving me problems. Adam who answered the phone was so helpful and patient even when I didn’t know the exact model subtype (EX/LX) of my car. He looked up multiple subtypes to be sure and then had the battery ready for me when I arrived. Bill was great and quickly got my old battery removed and my new one installed. So helpful! Highly recommend :)
I drive a big truck for a living. My fan belt broke while climbing the mountain. I was stuck on the side of the road. I called a couple of Volvo parts stores and they weren’t much help. I’ve gotten truck parts from Auto Zone before and was hoping I would luck out again. Called the store and Shaw answered. He was very helpful. He didn’t have the belt that I needed but was able to help me find one that would fit and at least get me down the road. He even brought it to me using his personal vehicle. And refused to take any money to compensate for gas. This would’ve cost me $300 if I had to call a service truck to bring a belt to me and put it on. I can’t say enough good things about this location. You can’t go wrong by getting your parts from here.
I pulled into town with an RV towing a Honda Fit which had a dead battery. I stopped here and they were excellent. The jumped my car so I could charge the battery so it could be properly checked. Then they tested it and showed me that I had a bad cell. In short order, I bought a battery and Noah changed it for me. EXCELLENT service. The counter guys were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable - I wish I rembered their names.
Ray at AutoZone in Verde Valley saved our road trip. We were headed up from phoenix and the car starts acting like a child told “no” in a grocery store. Shuddering, whining, refusing to get up and go, etc. We managed to make it to this autozone and in less then 10 minutes we had our diagnosis (bad battery), our fix (a new battery they already had in stock), and a very determined Ray (of course the terminals were corroded solid). Five stars isn’t enough, but it’s the best praise google will allow me to give. Thank you so much, Ray. I would’ve been a bit like an angry toddler myself if I didn’t get to see the sunrise at the Grand Canyon.
Stopped on our way from Flagstaff because one of our wipers broke. The guys at the counter were very helpful. Found our wipers and helped install them. We are very happy with the quality service of this Auto Zone.

This place and the staff are absolutely amazing. Not only are they extremely friendly and professional, they helped me getting the right part after I bought the wrong one. They returned it with no problems and even came outside to check on me changing it and made sure I was ok. I am so glad they opened a AutoZone in CampVerde. Thank you!

On Labor Day 9/6/21, I was stranded at the Chevron Station at Hwy 260 & I-17, my diesel truck has two batteries and both of them went bad and my truck would not start after fueling up, oh and I was towing a trailer also.
I called AAA which I had and they said that there wasn't anyone in the area that could bring me a set of batteries. I called Autozone in Camp Verde, asked them if they delivered batteries, and they said no. I told them my situation, and within 15 minutes I had two new batteries, the one gentleman drove them over (which I forget his name but thank you) took my old batteries and gave me credit for them. I offered him a tip and he declined, asked to leave a review, here you go guys.
Thank you for going way above and beyond. I was desperate for two batteries to get home and they took care of me and my wife.
I am truly thankful, you guys are awesome for coming to the rescue on Labor Day !!!
Shaw went above and beyond, I have been in the service industry for 20 years, and I have never had someone so willing to help. I am a customer for life. Thank you for going way above and beyond. He knew I desperately needed 2 batteries for a trip, he drove to Payson to accommodate me. I am truly thankful.
