Great service parts always good condition

I truly wish I could add additional stars to my rating. outstanding customer service both at the store level and customer service phone support. this was my first time using B&R and I will absolutely be back! quality parts, super helpful staff locating parts and easy pickup process. I ordered a rear door for my F150 and prior to scheduling a pickup day, they informed me there had been some damage to my door in the yard. I'm an automotive technician by trade and totally understand stuff happens (especially considering it's a wrecking yard). without question or hesitation, they quickly located me a comparable door and had it shipped within a day or two to the Gilbert location. they called early in the day to notify me that the door was ready for pickup. naturally, me being eager to receive my part, I left work an hour early (4:30) to pick it up. I work about 30 minutes from B&R and live 45-50 minutes away so coming from work was the more ideal situation for me. I want to give extra kudos to Calvin at the parts pickup area for staying a few extra minutes late for me to pickup my parts. I was fighting traffic and cut it super close to their closing time. I had called ahead to let them know I was on the way and the awesome front desk staff already communicated that to Calvin and had my parts ready to rock n roll by the time I got there. I can't thank the team enough for going above and beyond for me! I appreciate you guys and will recommend you any time I can. thanks again B&R!

I went in looking for a part for my husbands truck and a gentleman by the name of JR helped me and he was so nice and extremely knowledgeable. He was also nice and didn't make me feel stupid. It is because of him I will be back :)

I own a body shop and called this place to see if they have the parts I need. The guy asked what is my rim dimensions, I said hang on just a minute and I’ll get that for you when he hung up on me. Absolutely ridiculous behavior from an employee!

Prices were great and the parts are in excellent condition. David was Exceptional.

Brought my group of friends here and was taken care of by JR. Just wanted to show appreciation to him for making us all comfortable about what we were looking for. Thanks again JR.

I cannot stand having to work with this company!! They always quote the cheapest junk parts so the insurance makes us order through them but then you cant get ahold of anyone on the phone or the online ordering systems about questions to insure what they are quoting is actually the correct part, spoiler alert, it almost never is. They don't alert you if the part you ordered was canceled in transit due to damage so I constantly have to call in for updates which half the time goes nowhere because I get transferred to whichever rep handled the ticket, and then that just ends up going to voicemail because they are so understaffed. I've regularly sit on hold for 10+ minutes when trying to call in and have even sat on hold for 40 minutes with this company only for them to close before taking my call, leaving me to have to call back in the next morning. Its just an overall terrible experience working with this company. I've complained for months about their hold time and their solution is now to have an AI bot taking orders over the phone, which can take 10-15 minutes. Other companies you can call in and speak with a knowledgeable rep and have a part ordered in 3 minutes. If you're uncertain if its correct we can exchange photos via email verify the part is correct, which is not possible with this AI bot. Its very unfortunate that this company has gone downhill so much. I worked with them for years up in Washington and never had a single issue like this but once they expanded down to the Phoenix market they quickly became uncapable of keeping up with the volume which leads to a terrible experience for the body shops trying to keep cycle time low.

I purchased a central console and it was not the right one, it’s been 2 weeks and they still have not refunded me. GOOD LUCK trying to get a hold of them, they won’t answer!

Absolutely insanity that these people use a automated service to take calls!!!!!!!! When this place was American Auto Recycling the service was excellent. Now its horrible. I cant even get a core refund from March of 2025.

I bought a transmission from their online store. Everything was excellent except their online store is unable to return my core charge despite returning my core. "Different Department" said the employees at the storefront. I called that department and was told my core charge was in process. Still no refund. I will be wise to this sloppy process in the future. Still good parts and prices.

I have been coming here for over 10 years, they have the best prices in town of they don't have what you're looking for they will definitely try and find a way and who might have the part for you. I definitely have to say that everyone is friendly and always there to help especially Josh. He understood what I was going through and helped me with getting a new motor for my dodge journey. My kids and I very much appreciate what Josh and B&R auto wrecking has done to help us out of our situation.

In the last year I have tried using this business between 5 and 8 times, tried to once again to day and was on hold for over 15 minutes without even speaking to anyone. This has been the case every single time I have called. Never again will I give a business that much of my time as a customer.

We purchased an engine from them and they have yet to return us our money. We followed all the protocols that they advised us to follow along with paperwork/ receipts and til this day have not received anything. Really disappointed on this as they took my payment with no hesitation but when it came down to fixing the problem they are doing nothing about it. Definitely won’t buy from them again ! Horrible customer service.

I work in auto service. I had 2 engines sent to my uncle. Not only were they the wrong motor both times, But both had water inside the plugs... I don't think they even have a good engine. No customer service. Can't answer a dam phone. Company's like this should not be in business! Shadyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

JR was extremely nice, helpful, and knowledgeable and I was so impressed at his ability to assist with my request. My shifter was faulty on my car and he was instrumental in finding the correct replacement part for me, as well as explaining what the issue was and how the repair would resolve it. My car works perfectly now! Prices for parts and labor were amazing when compared to other shops I’ve been to, as well as research I’d done on average costs for this type of repair. You can tell that JR truly cares about his customers! I will be recommending American Auto Recycling to all of my friends and family!

Hands down the best Auto Recycling yard in phoenix area!! My company has never had any issue with American Auto. My go 2 Sales guy is JR. We always receive great service, price, and warranty. Very knowledgeable team.

I was in the market for some new parts for my truck and I was looking for a affordable place with good customer service and I came across this place and read some reviews so I decided to check it out and I was impressed with how kind people were and the guy that helped me was JR. Man I thought I knew about my truck but boy was I wrong , JR knew a lot more than me. He not only helped me with what I was looking for but he also educated me as well. Definitely worth the drive you won’t be disappointed but make sure you ask for JR!

This is by far the best place to go for any auto parts! The customer service is top notch the gentleman that helped me was JR Cruz and he went above and beyond to help me find what I was looking for.
