My girlfriend and my Mother have been going here for the last few years. I brought my car in today because it was making a loud tapping sound and was losing power and check engine light came on. Seemed like it was going to be an expensive fix. Unfortunately it turned out the engine was shot and in wasn't worth fixing. Not the news I wanted to hear. But they were honest about it and didn't charge me the diagnostic fee. Not the result I wanted but I trust their evaluation of my car

They fixed a car that has been to at least half dozen other mechanics who failed. Fast service and competent, knowledgeable mechanics. I won't take my car anywhere else.

Friendly, courteous, responsive and qualified. These words don’t come close to describing the reason I like having my auto serviced here. It feels like family here. Carol makes you feel at home and like part of the crew. I've had my car service there for the past 5 years and they even did some of my boat trailer work. Can't say enough about what they do. It saddens me to write this review. I brought my Macan in for an error alert. They claimed it was an hybrid issue. Macan isn’t a hybrid. I went to another shop and they found mice had eaten wires.Also, on another occasion they claimed I needed a new radiator, unfortunately that was false also, they aren’t familiar with Porsche. even tho they claim they are, I did not have to take it to dealer. I went to a verified Porsche mechanic, they staff is friendly but their knowledge of Porsche is lacking.

They took great care of me / my car in a very engaging manner. I came in for one problem with my ignition and they (rightly) identified a second issue I knew I had with the suspension but had been putting off dealing with. No pressure, just... good advice. My car's now in tip-top shape!

Every time I have had to take my car in for repair or check up, they have been very accommodating and punctual. They are all a friendly group especially Carol in the office. I am new to Arizona and a widow all in the past 2 years. It is comforting to know I can take my car to an automotive center and they will correct what is wrong and not push me to do unnecessary work on my car. Thank you for such good service!

Logan has done a great job in maintaining my Xterra, even cleaning out a hidden pack rat nest near the manifold! I highly recommend this automotive repair shop.

I recently had my first experience with Breton's Automotive. It was excellent. They were honest, competent, fast and reasonably priced. I will definitely be returning.

Breton’s Automotive is a hidden gem in Fountain Hills. Carole has to be one of the nicest and most helpful owners I’ve run into here in Fountain Hills. I had a routine oil change and 30K inspection scheduled one week out for my 2022 Audi Q5 but an unexpected mechanical issue came up so I called Carole. After listening to my situation, she said “don’t worry, we will squeeze you in today and we will take care of the previously scheduled items and investigate the new issue”. As promised, the oil change, 30K inspection, and a diagnosis of the new issue (CV Boot leak) were performed. Carole offered logical options for addressing the replacement of the CV Boot by their shop or pursuing the replacement at the local Audi Dealership because the part might be covered under the Audi Factory Warranty. I made contact with Audi and found the part will likely be covered at no cost to me under the warranty. If for some reason the warranty doesn’t cover the CV Boot, Breton’s Automotive will be prepared to replace the failed CV Boot. I found Breton’s Automotive to be honest, friendly, reasonably priced, and forthcoming with the work performed or work that can wait. I couldn’t be any more pleased and highly recommend using Breton’s for all your automotive repairs.

Breton was very accommodating especially since I was about 20 mins late for my 5 hour appointment. 120 Mile drive from home, but well worth it. The staff was professional but also congenial. The Best! Another mechanic in town lied to me told me I needed a new transmission. Went here they found and fixed the correct problem. Honest, friendly, reliable service. I will always bring my cars here from now on. Thank you for the great service!

Pices are very fair. More important to me (and I suspect to many others!) is that this 100% family owned and operated business can be trusted completely!

First time customer at Breton's. A pleasant experience from start to finish. Carol got me an appointment very quickly and they were ready for me when I arrived. Service was quick and efficient. The office was clean and well organized. A great sense of care for the customer that you seldom get from a service shop. I am very glad I tried Breton's out. A well run family business. When all the dashboard check engine lights lit up, I searched on line and the best advice was not to drive it until repaired. Bretons techs identified the issue as hungry rodents and cleaned out all the debris under the hood, repaired the chewed wiring and power washed the remnants all in one day. Thank you!

Every member of this family run business was very professional while being concerned about what was in my best interest. They didn't have good news, but instead of trying to do extensive repairs, they advised me that there would still be problems, and that I'd be better off getting rid of the car. Such honesty is difficult to find these days. They will definitely be my service center from now on. Many thanks for your integrity!!

I highly recommend Breton's Auto! I've been going there for 2 years and am very happy with their work. They are quick and efficient, and their staff are kind and knowledgeable. They go above and beyond to make sure your car is taken care of. I took my car in for a routine oil change and after finding out I'm taking a long road trip they did a thorough check of the entire car, topping off fluids and even putting air in my spare tire just in case. A great company all around!

My 89 Corvette did not pass emissions test for Carbon Monoxide. Breton's quickly diagnosed issues with the fuel pump and dirty intake. They replaced the fuel pump and cleaned the air intake system and the car passed with flying colors. They also recommended that the shocks get replaced and the ride has greatly improved. The Vette runs much smoother and I am very happy with the service. Super nice people too!

I love this shop. It's local, it's fair and they are good at being up-front and honest about the work they can perform. I've been here twice now and always enjoy Carol's demeanor out front and the techs on the floor. As a car guy, and one who prefers to do some of his own work, it takes a lot to entrust my car(s) to someone else. I never think twice about it when I visit Breton's.

I take all of my vehicles here for service and general repair work. I have used some other shops around the area before and nobody beats Breton's when it comes to reliably getting the job done. I have never had any issues with the quality of their work, whereas with other shops I found myself having to go back multiple times to get the job done. Their prices are reasonable and they are very honest when it comes to communicating with you. Good local family business!

Carol and the staff at Breton's were so friendly and professional, they made the whole experience of getting my car repaired an easy process! Check engine light went on and needed my car the next day for work -- they figured out what was wrong with it (fuel injector sensor on the throttle), ordered the part, and installed it all within a few hours, and I was back on the road the same day! I cannot thank them enough for their great service and reasonable prices!!
